Basically in Jaipur, SKIT is far better than other normal colleges.

Placements: An average percentage is just enough to get you admission in mechanical engineering. Well, for the placements, you do not need an extraordinary percentage but you need to have some skills that can solve a problem in the real world. I know people who, after getting even a 9.8 CGPA, have gotten an average placement, while others with some skill have started their own start-up.

Infrastructure: Labs are nice, the library is nice and hostels are also okay. I'm not a hosteler so I can't tell much about what it is like but I have heard from my friends that it's okay in terms of facilities. Other than that, labs have loads of equipment and machinery and the library is also air conditioned.

Faculty: Some teachers are average in terms of delivering the information but some are just excellent in what they do. You will have to study by yourself for most subjects but some teachers are so good and so helpful that you won't feel helpless. You just need to be regular in the class and it's all good.

I prefer SKIT Jaipur for good study and placements.

Placements: 70-80% of students are placed in mechanical, with the highest package being 6 LPA. And lowest being 2 LPA. And different companies were recruiting for placements and 90–95% of the students got internships, and they got them in different companies. Top roles offered are a senior and assistant position at companies.

Infrastructure: Skit Jaipur facilities are very good. They provide an environment like a school in study. The facilities and infrastructure are very good: strong Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, libraries—that's all excellent in college. I don't know about hostel food, rooms or facilities because I am living in flats .

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent of the teachers. Semester exams are very easy because RTU papers are unbelievable and pass percentage is 70%. SKIT is very strict about the study, exam, and practical.

Overall, it's an average college, but I recommend you go for IIT if you want to pursue engineering.

Placements: Almost all students got placed in the college, but most of them got placed in the IT sector. The highest package offered was 10 LPA, and the lowest was towards zero. The top recruiting companies were Pinnacle and UltraTech. Most of the students got average jobs, which are not in line with the amount invested in the BTech or anything related to the course they studied.

Infrastructure: Talking about the infrastructure, it was average, but there were additional facilities like the Entrelac, which was affiliated with IIT Bombay. Some labs were decently maintained, but some of the machinery was very old. However, it covered the course syllabus aspects with average facilities.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful and qualified, but they provide knowledge only according to the course syllabus and focus on clearing examinations, not on making brilliant mechanical engineers. There was nothing related to research, and no research facilities were available if you want to study mechanical engineering.

Placement and studies are good, but it's not a great college life according to infrastructure.

Placements: Last year, in mechanical engineering, there were 90 students, and out of those, 50 were eligible for placement. Of those, 45 out of 50 were successfully placed with a decent package. The average package is 4-5 lacs, and Pinnacle and Bosch are some of the top companies.

Infrastructure: All the labs, library, and classrooms are well maintained, and the food in the mess and canteen is also good. Most of the facilities are available here, including a gym, indoor badminton, open gym, tennis courts, library, sports grounds, canteen, and branch house.

Faculty: According to the studies, this college is awesome, and the faculty is also great. Some of the faculty members are so helpful that they can assist you at any time with any query. Most of the facilities in my branch are excellent. If you want to study, they are always there to teach you.

Other: If you are choosing this college for enjoying your college life, then you should think again. However, if you are focusing mainly on studies, then this is the best college. There are mainly a few fests held in a year, and if you go for core branches, it will be most useful for you.

College is excellent for students who really want to study and grow more in their life.

Placements: The placement cell is nicer than average. If you have done your studies, then you will get the placement. But there are not very high packages offered; the average package of 10–12 LPA for teach branches, and for non-teach or core 3–7 LPA, actually core branches have more placed students. If you don't have a current back or KT in the placement year, then surely you will get placed. It depends on your knowledge of how much money you get offered.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good in the skit; every department are well organised and have well-trained teachers. environment is good and calm; no nusense is tolerated here by any student. canteen is good; u can get your meal at cheaper rates. Sports facilities are also good, such as having football field, gym indoors and outdoors, badminton court, etc. Labs and classrooms are well maintained and are properly working equipments.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and are keen to give more and more knowledge to the students; courses have relevant subjects; and semester exams are of moderate level for the ones who studied. Colleges have subjects with poes and comes, which led students to study the subject.

Other: My branch is mechanical engineering, 23–27 batch Here, the core branches have good number of students who got placed . College life is good—not so Bollywood-type but decent. There is a festival in the whole year called Pravah in which they make some days for sports events, then call it Aaveg, and the rest is cultural fest. alumni network is also good; u will get there contacts and get to know them about there journey. There is an incubation cell in the college, which enhances startups of the college students. You can get upto 1cr if your project or startup idea has potential. Teacher are nice; they teaches well in the class, even though you can ask them questions after class as well. Sports facility are good, having gym indoors and outdoor a football field, badminton court, kabbadi ground, etc. Some things which could be cons in college life are like it's quite a strict environment and sometimes it feels like you get over strictness. Like for having your vehicle inside the campus required college GATE pass to get in. Girls are not allowed to go inside campus from outside after 6 pm because of those restrictions. College having a central library are quite excellent, having very decent environment to study read books, etc. college campus is not so big but decent, having greenery and cleanliness in the environment. It's is rated Nacc A+ continue from last 6 years. So college is excellent; it's just if your goal is to study and get placed in very nice college but if u want some enjoyment, then here college gets lacking.
