The best college for getting your overall development .
Placements: In Mechanical Engineering college, more than 80% get placed every year, and the packages are decent like the highest package for 2024 was 18lpa and the average package was 8lpa. Most of the students got jobs in government sector in railway offices and rto offices.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and labs are well furnished. The most interesting part is the mechanical equipments like there are so many machineries and equipments related to mechanical engineering. The classrooms are big enough for 150-200 students. Talking about hostel, the rooms are decent but very spacious, the food quality is best, If you are a sports maniac there are so many sports facilities like you can play any sport you want there. Many events organized in which students compete with IITs or BITS students .
Faculty: The Professors are very well qualified as well as the lab assistants. Most of the professor have atleast 20-30 years of experience. The main focus is not about getting job or passing exams. The university focuses on the overall development of the student. The semester exams are pretty much difficult. 70-80% students pass .

MBM University Jodhpur is a good college .
Placements: Almost all the students are placed in the mechanical engineering branch and the highest package is 17 LPA and the lowest package is 7 LPA. Many companies come to the college for placement like Adani, Tata, etc. Almost all students get internships in different companies or government departments. The top role offered is that of graduate engineer trainee.
Infrastructure: Facilities are so good in the department; there is much greenery in the department; there is a library; the professor teaches us on the smart board; and the hostels are very good. The mess is average; there is no such medical facility in the hostel; there is a ground you can play on.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They teach us on a smart board with real-life examples. Teaching quality is very good. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate to tough .
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in mechanical engineering. From this college, mechanical placements are very good. If you sit in the placement drive, you get placed in no such things to improve the things in this course. There are so many events held here every month. Encarta and Anant are two technical and cultural fests. There are also many clubs here, and scholarships are also provided by the college .

Honest review of MBM college Jodhpur.
Placements: In core branches like civil, mechanical, or electrical, we can see placements, as in every batch maybe 70% of students get placed. The average package of the mechanical branch is 6 LPA. Companies that visit are Vedanta, L&T, or some less renowned companies. But in our college, the placement of the computer science department is very low.
Infrastructure: The college was made very long ago. Some old departments are very dusty and vintage. Instruments in labs are old-fashioned and broken. The hostel is average, but some hostels suffer roof leakage, especially on the first floor. There is Wi-Fi on the campus. Classrooms are dirty and need cleanliness.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are experienced, but some are newly admitted, mature, and inexperienced teachers. Exams are not conducted timely, and there is nothing according to the timetable. Even the result is unannounced 5-6 months after exams. In the first year, exams are a bit difficult to clear, but later on, it gets sorted out.
Other: The campus is surrounded by all the necessities like bus stands, railway stations, and tourist spots. There are very few college fests and cultural programs. The courses are good.

Overall, it is a good college.
Placements: Recruiters include Vedanta, Airtel, and HCL. Vedanta is the top recruiting company and it is a mass recruiter. It offers internships, but our teachers are not placement-oriented. Airtel came here recently, but the placements are not that good compared to Vedanta.
Infrastructure: The food in the mess is good. You can see greenery all around you. The warden is good and understands every situation very kindly. In the hostel, no one will be alone. The environment here is very good and there is no disturbance. Labs are well maintained.
Faculty: The college follows the academic calendar very strictly. Semester exams are conducted on time. The vice chancellor is very kind and helps every student. Teachers in our branch are very helpful and very knowledgeable. All the practicals are conducted in a good manner.

Overview of MBM Mechanical Engineering programme.
Placements: I am mechanical engineering student from MBM and pass out in 2024. In this year around 60% student got placed. If I talk about mechanical branch this year 39 student from 63 student batch which are very good for tier 3 college. In this year mechanical branch the highest on campus package is 16.5 lac, the lowest was 2.5 lac and average is 5.6 lac. Top recruiting companies are JSW, VEDANTA, L&T, HAVELLS, ADANI etc. In my course not a single internship given by college but most of student go for internship at DRDO and Jodhpur railways.
Infrastructure: In mechanical department all lab not working. In stream lab not a single experiments can be perform and in other labs most of equipments not working. Classrooms and library are good. MBM is very old college so hostel buildings are not good and mess food quality very with hostel to hostel, in boys hostel mess food is not good. In hostel no medical facilities available but college arranged external hospital. Sports and games activities not proper.
Faculty: Most of teachers are good but not all are good. All teachers are well qualified. My of teachers have good industry knowledge. Some teachers have good teaching method. MBM course relevant to industry standard. MBM exam papers are easy but some teacher marking scale low. In mechanical course most of student pass only some student fails .
Other: I choose mechanical engineering in MBM because in mechanical good placement record and if we go for government job MBM syllabus is more than enough. For improving mechanical course improve labs and 2 to 3 industrial trips required in course .
