Pursuing BE/BTech at Swamy Vivekananda Engineering College: Worth It?

After analyzing the reviews and feedback from current students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

    Pros:
    * High placement record: 65% of students get hired by top companies like TCS, Infosys, Tata Steel, and Jindal Steel.
    * Good packages: the highest package is INR 7 LPA, while the average package is approximately INR 3.8 LPA.
    * Well-equipped labs and infrastructure.
    * Friendly and knowledgeable faculty members who are willing to support students.
    * Opportunities for internships (although limited).
    * Campus life is enjoyable, with regular festivals and events.

    Cons:
    * Limited company interactions: No direct campus placements or internships available due to lack of connections.
    * Low stipends: Internship stipends are negligible, and students often end up paying for their own expenses.
    * Poor teaching quality: Some faculty members may not be qualified or knowledgeable enough in their subjects.
    * Outdated course curriculum: The curriculum might not be entirely relevant to industry requirements.
    * Limited resources: Library and computer facilities could be improved.
    * Unhygienic living conditions: Feedback suggests that hostel food quality and hygiene need improvement.

Considering these points, whether or not it's worth pursuing BE/BTech at Swamy Vivekananda Engineering College depends on individual priorities. If you're looking for a strong placement record and don't mind limitations in terms of internship opportunities and teaching quality, this college might still be a viable option. However, if you're seeking a more comprehensive learning experience with modern infrastructure, regular internships, and better teacher-student ratios, you might want to explore other options. Ultimately, weigh your preferences carefully before making a decision.

Course Curriculum Structuring for B.E./B.Tech at Swamy Vivekananda Engineering College

According to the reviews and feedback provided by students and alumni, the course curriculum at Swamy Vivekananda Engineering College is structured as follows:

    * Teaching Quality: The teaching quality is poor, and teachers are not knowledgeable and helpful. However, some students mentioned that teachers are cooperative and helpful, especially during counseling and doubt sessions.
    * Relevance to Industry: The course curriculum is not relevant to the industry, which can affect its usefulness in preparing students for real-world scenarios. Students suggested adding industry-related courses such as AutoCAD, CTIA, MS, and RiVIT to enhance relevance.
    * Practical Courses: The college lacks practical courses, which is a major drawback. Adding automotive and robotic practical courses could improve the overall learning experience.
    * Industrial Tours: Unfortunately, the college does not offer industrial tours, which could provide valuable exposure to students.
    * Placement Opportunities: While placement opportunities exist, they are limited to a few companies, and salaries range from INR 12,000 to INR 22,000 per month.

Overall, while the course curriculum at Swamy Vivekananda Engineering College has room for improvement, it seems that the college is working towards addressing these issues and enhancing the learning experience for its students.

There is no companies come to college for giving placement. So students can not place the companies. And also students can not got internship. Because of college faculty cannot provide internship giving companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was not available in the college. Classrooms and infrastructure are good, and college campus are large. The library are not better. But provide good facilities as much as possible. The labs are good and lab assistants are easy to mingle. With students and explain well. There is no hostel facility to college. But They provide free bus facilities. The sports room are in the college. And canteen facility are not good.
Faculty: In my 2nd year college faculty are teach well. After second year the faculty was not teaching well and faculty are very less. The teaching courses are relevant to the curriculum. The students are not ready to industry because of industry knowledge and course structure are different. The college environment are good. The semester exams are very strict. The pass percentage of the different branches have different pass percentages. ECE branch have the highest pass percentage in college.

Review of Swamy Vivekananda Engineering College.
Placements: No companies came to our campus for internships. But faculty members support to do internships in academics. If they know any companies or if they have any contacts, they will inform students. Good companies like TCS and Wipro visited the campus for recruitment.
Infrastructure: I am proud to be a part of this college. They provide a good platform in both academics and co-curricular to exhibit our talents. It was a lush green campus with good infrastructure and atmosphere.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were experienced and professionals. They all were very friendly but were strict in studies. All the professors and associate professors were much experienced. They supported us very much in completing our projects.
Other: A college fest is organised every year at the national level. In this, there are PPTs, paper presentations, games, and cultural events conducted. It is fun and best for knowing good things. Scholarships and loans were provided to candidates with some proofs to be shown to the authorities.

The worst decision of my life was to join this college.
Placements: The college does not provide any internship or in-plant training. As it is a small college it tries its best to provide all the opportunities for the students at a minimal cost. I did not do any internship till now and I am planning to do it in December in Visakhapatnam. There is no stipend amount being given but we need to pay the amount for doing the internship.
Infrastructure: There are almost all the facilities that we require but the transport facilities must be increased and bus routes should be made for remote areas also. They should take care of the extracurricular facilities and should conduct them in large numbers like technical symposiums and fests, These are the remarks that I want to highlight about the college. Though it is a small college it has a very pleasant ambience.
Faculty: The faculty in our college are just like friends and we feel very free to contact them. They are very supportive and lend us their support in both academic and non-academic aspects. They are very interactive. The standard of their teaching is also good and they will teach in such a way that it goes immediately into our brains.

Once upon a time it was much better but not now.
Placements: Placements are not so good, it is a private college. 70% of the students get placed but the average package is 2 Lacs per year. You have to do hard work and study properly in order to get a good placement. Many students prepare for GATE but do not get qualified.
Infrastructure: Classes and labs were strictly conducted. The college was established in 2009. It is affiliated to JNTU, Kakinada. Infrastructure is good and the library is resourceful. Sri Vinayaka educational and charitable trust is the parent organisation. It is a private college.
Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant. The faculty members are cooperative and helpful. They are well qualified in their respective fields. Counsellings and doubt sessions are held by them from time to time. They also help the students in their preparation for placements.
