SIBM Pune Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Lavale Village

Placements: The placements are conducted in two phases - Summer and finals. Most of the companies are top notch and a good mix with some different job roles. Once summer internship is done, some students are offered PPO (Pre placement offer). For MBA Marketing specifically, many roles are sales roles (Area sales manager type) which should be kept in mind while deciding this as the major.

Placements: Symbiosis Institute of Business Management is known for its placements and student-driven campus. But the placement process is not applicable for masters in business administration and also innovation and entrepreneurship. It is clearly mentioned in the guidelines as well. Other than that, college is awesome.

Placements: SIBM Pune has been successful in maintaining a record of a 100% placements over the last couple of years. Students got placed in leading market corporate with different profiles. The details are on the audited report, which is available on the college website.

Placements: The placements for this year were quite good. More than 90% of the batch got placed although there were some hiccups in the HR section. The highest package offered was 28 LPA and the lowest was 7.5 LPA. The average package was 16.5 LPA. Similarly more than 90% of the junior batch got internship from the college. The highest stipend was 1.75 LPM yes there is a placement cell in the campus and they only handle all the placement procedure of the students in an efficient manner.

Placements: 100% of the students who applied for placements were placed. I'm not entirely sure about the average salary offered because there was no circulation about the same. I was placed in PwC with companies from various sectors forming a part of the placements.

The facilities here are top notch. Starting from the really cool and scenic campus to nice hostel rooms, your stay here is pretty going to be similar to a stay in a hill resort! While the academics here are rigorous (specially the first semester) you still get time to do other stuff. So, you can use the great library or go to the gym. SIBM Pune or SIU (as we share our campus with 4 other colleges) has world class infrastructure which is at least better or at par with other popular B-schools in India. The academic block is acquainted with well-designed amphitheater-styled lecture halls. Set in the hills of Lavale, the campus gives a complete hill station feel. The college has an excellent infrastructure in terms of library, computer centers, large and spacious theatre like an auditorium, classrooms, council activity rooms etc.. The college has a nice library in place with a great collection of journals and books from across the globe. The college offers quality Wi-Fi throughout the campus and has great connectivity. The faculty is good and qualified though there still needs to be a lot of improvement on that front with more stress on practical case studies. Placements: The placement cell is average; I'm not satisfied with their activeness, but they know how to manage students well, and there are several emails you receive regarding the internship. The internship opportunity here is very vast and also very active. You can do a lot of internships on campus to gain experience.

Placements: Good salary packages are offered to students. The placements for each of the specialisations are well distributed. It also has a good alumni base handling positions in the top management of various Indian as well as foreign MNCs. The alumni base, especially in the field of HR is remarkable.

Placements: Multiple recruiters visit here for placements, and they recruit a good amount of students for their companies. Almost 99% of the students are placed and are offered with a good salary package and job roles. Placements are offered with almost all kinds of job roles. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA.
