A bitter experience at SICSR.
Placements: The highest package offered is around 22 lakhs by DE Shaw. The average package is merely 3–4 lacs per year. The top recruiting companies are DE Shaw, Infosys, Deloitte, etc. Very few students (less than 50%) get placed in our college, and the investment-to-return ratio is not very optimal.
Infrastructure: I am not staying in the Symbiosis hostel currently, but I have heard from my friends that the hostel is very old, has bad infrastructure, and is not very optimal to stay in. Although it is very cheap, they don't provide facilities such as AC, shower camps, or bucket baths.
Faculty: The teachers are of low quality, with very ordinary teaching skills and a lack of ability to communicate with students due to their poor quality English. The course is not very relevant as they don't dive deep into either management or IT. The semester exams are pretty easy if you study a few weeks before the exam.
Other: I chose this course as it is a blend between management and IT, and that is what the industry requires today. There are events and fests conducted by the college. The campus crowd is subpar.

I am fairly satisfied with it.
Placements: The associate analyst role is offered by Deloitte, and the systems tech associate role is offered by DE Shaw. It also offers a business development associate role. Almost 100% of the students from our course secured an internship either through college or through personal means. The highest salary package offered is 21.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is good. It has basic facilities with a common room and mess on-campus. The college campus is not in line with other symbiosis campuses. Labs are well-maintained on the campus. The college library is well-stocked and is available in an online format as well.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly skilled and knowledgeable in their respective fields. It has a high pass percentage. The course curriculum is relevant to modern market requirements. Students are taught a combination of business and information technology concepts, which give them an edge in the market.
Other: It provides a scholarship for international students and a merit-based scholarship every semester.

Good faculty and courses but really bad condition for infrastructure.
Placements: The Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research ensures 100% placement for students. The institute has lived up to its name for years and gives its graduates an average salary of at least 6 lacs. The topmost package offered in SICSR last year was 21 lacs. Many top-tier companies recruit students from SCSR, like Amazon, TCS, Cognizant, etc. Although SICSR claims to give 100% placements, it does not account for students backgrounds.
Infrastructure: SICSR is a single building; it has no infrastructure facilities whatsoever. I'm in BBA (IT) Sem 2. We have a canteen, library, and office, and classes are on 5 floors, which are divided amongst students of SIU and SICSR. The infrastructure stands too low for SICSR.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are very sweet and caring. The professors pay attention to the needs of students. We have visiting faculty members and non-visiting faculty members. I personally like this idea, as we get to learn from the faculty outside of the campus. There are some teachers who tend to get rude sometimes but I haven't faced an issue with mine yet.
Other: I chose this course because it was a perfect blend of IT and business. Our society is growing more towards IT, so this course might help me understand the best of both world's. As for events, we have a single building, so we don't get many events. I wish the infrastructure was a bit better, except that it's all good.

It provides good infrastructure, teachers, and facilities but the campus is small.
Placements: Students got placed in reputed companies through the campus placements program. The recruiters that visit were Amazon, Infosys, Deloitte, Tata Consultancy Services, DE Shaw India Pvt. Ltd, Cognizant, ZS associates, etc. The lowest salary package offered for the 2017-2020 batch was 2.15 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 6.80 LPA for BBA and IT graduates. The roles offered were company consultants, web developers, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructures of this college are good, and the facilities include Wi-Fi, computer laboratory, library, reading room, conference room, etc. The quality of food in the canteen was great, even the infrastructure of the canteen was aesthetic.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, and the curriculum was up to date. Students studied all the subjects which were required in today's world. All the subjects were relevant to the course, and for the industry. The level of difficulty was moderate to high. The pass percentage was around 80%.
Other: I opted for this course as it was giving business administration combined with information technology which was the best possible combination for today's world. It requires a person to be sharp in business as well as well educated about the IT aspects of the business. The fee structure was around 1.60 LPA - 1.80 LPA which was good. Symbiosis was a very reputed university. The campus was in the center of Pune so it was well connected to every place be it food, entertainment, or leisure.

Dissatisfied only because of campus area and the attendance percentage criteria.
Placements: 1. 60% of students were placed
2. The highest package was 4.8L and the lowest was 1.5L
3. Concentrics, l&t and other 2-3 companies were there for recruitment.
4. Executive, assistant, dept. head roles were offered.
6. All students were placed or doing internships.
Infrastructure: 1. College infrastructure is okay but the campus is really very small as compared to other colleges of Symbiosis. Wi-Fi, labs and other facilities are provided.
2. Quality of canteen food is good, the medical institute of Symbiosis is just nearby whereas sports and other games are not promoted so much.
Faculty: 1. Teachers are helpful and qualified at some point we have issues with faculty about attendance and all but overall teaching quality is fine.
2. Course curriculum is relevant it's just there are so many IT subjects management and IT subjects are not well balanced in my course that is BBA (IT). .
Other: 1. BBA (IT) is a unique course which is a blend of management and IT subjects so I chose this course and that is one of the best things about my course. We get to learn about management and IT at the same time.
2. Better arrangement of subjects can improve the course.
3. Limited events till now however they're trying to do better. Campus crowd is not that good because of the campus area.

SICSR: A college of future.
Placements: The placement is quite good with various companies coming for the placements such as Tavisca, Deloitte, Byjus, Capgemini, SKP, VMware, Vodafone, Redhat, IBM to name a few. The highest package is around 18 Lacs and the average placements is around 6 Lacs.
Infrastructure: The college is located at S. B. road in Pune which is good location of Pune. The class has wi-fi connectivity. The college has world class facilities such as the library, gym and computer labs. Also, the quality of food served to us is good. So, the overall infrastructure and the facilities given to us are quite good.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and have intense knowledge about the subject. The curriculum is well designed in accordance with the present industry scenario. The curriculum gives us practical knowledge and thus makes the students ready for the industry.
Other: The reason for choosing the course is that I wanted to make a managerial career in information technology. Thus, this college was the best for the course of BBA (IT). The campus has crowd from almost 20 states of India and we also have international students. The campus is located at S. B. road in Pune which is a prime location.
