Both SIIB Pune and SCMHRD Pune offer MBA programs with different specializations. In terms of ranking and brand value, SIBM Pune is better than SCMHRD Pune. SIBM Pune is ranked 7th and SCMHRD Pune is ranked 8th for MBA by India Today 2021. However, the choice between the two should be based on the course one is planning to pursue. If one is planning to pursue MBA Business Analytics, MBA HR, or MBA Infrastructure Management, then SCMHRD is a better option. For Marketing specialization, both of these two are decent options. SIBM Pune offers MBA at postgraduate level in four specializations including MBA, Executive MBA, and MDP programs whereas SCMHRD offers postgraduate programs in MBA with specializations as MBA (Business Analytics), MBA (Infrastructure Development & Management), and MBA (Executive).

SIIB Pune accepts SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) scores for admission to MBA. The weightage given to SNAP scores is 50%. The other components of the selection process include Personal Interview (PI), Written Ability Test (WAT), and Group Experience (GE), with weightages of 30%, 10%, and 10%, respectively. The final selection of candidates is based on the cumulative score obtained in all these components.

As per the SIIB placement report for MBA batch 2022-24, the highest package stood at INR 24.65 LPA and was grabbed by International Business students. The SIIB Pune highest package 2024 offered to MBA students is showcased in the table below:

Symbiosis International University comprises Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB).SIIB Pune provides an MBA programme with three specializations: energy and environment, agribusiness, and international business. The MBA-IB programme is the institute's flagship offering. For various MBA specialties, there are 210 seats available in total: 120 for MBA (IB), 60 for MBA (AB), and 30 for MBA (E&E).

The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP), which is administered by the institute, is used for SIIB MBA admission. November 23, 2023 is the deadline for SNAP registration. The Group Exercise, Personal Interview, and Written Ability Test (GE-PI-WAT) process will ultimately determine the final selection.

Foreign candidates can also apply for admission to the MBA programme at SIIB. It is mandatory for the candidates to have a valid passport and Visa. English Proficiency Test is mandatory for foreign students. SIIIB Pune accepts SNAP scores for the admission to its management courses. SIIIB Pune cutoff 2024 is expected to be released soon after the SNAP 2024 results. If we go with trend of previous year SIIIB Pune cutoff 2020 and 2019, then we can assume a cutoff equal to 93 or not more than 95 for most of the management courses. While SIIB Pune does not offer direct admission assistance through the management quota, it does encourage candidates to build their interpersonal skills, which will aid in their academic and professional development.

There are two steps in the selection process.

• Step I: SNAP Test: The Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is a common written exam for admission to all Symbiosis postgraduate institutes. Students who wish to be admitted to SIIB, Pune, must take it. Visit the college's official website to register for the SNAP Test and obtain more information. Obtain your SNAP ID and finish the SNAP registration and payment. Then, choose SIIB from the list of options on the form and finish the Institution registration and payment (which is required).Keep the SNAP test admit card for use in the SIIB, Pune, further selection process. A candidate does not automatically advance to the next round of the SIIB, Pune selection process just by showing up for the SNAP Test.

• Step II: SIIB, Pune's GEPI The candidates on the short list will be contacted for the next round of selection at SIIB, Pune, based on their SNAP scores. On the dates specified, the results of the candidates who were shortlisted or not are made public through a link on the SIIB website. Only PUNE will host the whole selection process. Group exercises and one-on-one interviews are part of this process.

The fees for the MBA programs at SIIB Pune vary based on the specialization. The average fees for the MBA programs at SIIB Pune are around INR 10,86,500 per year, with a total fee of approximately INR 16 lakh - INR 21.7 lakh for the entire program. Additionally, there is a semester fee of around INR 3,10,000, which includes both hostel and tuition fees. The specific fees may differ based on the chosen specialisation and other factors.
