Placements: The internships for our batch were not satisfactory. Even though all the students got internships, they were not from very good companies. The highest stipend was offered Rs. 50,000 by Deloitte. The average offered was between Rs. 10,000 -15,000. The final placements were quite good. Good companies like Axis Bank, JP Morgan, Marsh, etc. visited. The highest package offered was 14 LPA.
Placements: Placements for 2016 were not as good as 2015 but were fine. Companies like Wipro and Infosys were hesitating to hire because of uncertainties, but non-IT companies hired people. All of our seniors are placed through the college. The highest package was 13 LPA and the lowest was 6 LPA. All of us got the internship but not in good companies.
Placements: The placements were very good this year. Various companies come offering a range of roles. The college offers a high return on investment as the fees are quite low for defence kids. The companies like Deloitte, Marsh, Make My Trip visited this year. The average package offered was 7 LPA.
Placements: The placements were nice for our senior batch. The companies like Mahindra, Make My Trip, Janlakshmi Bank visited this year for placements, the average package was 8 LPA. The lowest offered was 6.5 LPA. Roles were mainly not client facing. The internship was a little below standards, but most of the students got placed, though not in nice companies for placements.
Placements: This year, the placements were quite good, and many good companies did come. Nearly all the students were placed. The highest package offered was 15 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 6.5 LPA. The average package offered was nearly 7-8 LPA. The internships offers were not that good, but most of the students got the internship from college, but companies were not that good.
Placements: The placements are good and worth the money. Return on investment is very high. The placement rules are very strict. Mostly software companies come which hire in higher numbers with an average of almost 8 LPA. Rest give higher packages but less recruitments.
Placements: The placements in our batch and the senior batch were pretty good. I guess around 90% of the students were placed. The highest package being about 20 LPA and the lowest around 4 LPA. The average will be around 6. We had almost all kinds of companies visiting us across all branches offering almost all kinds of varied roles. In terms of the internship, about 40% would have got an internship with most offering not much in terms of the stipend except big names like Deloitte, JP Morgan, Credit Suiss...
Placements: 90% placed. Mostly around 6-7 LPA. Highest 20L and lowest around 4.5L. Some good brands like Tata Motors, Marsh, Bata, Villa came. Small names from the unorganised sector also recruited and were paying quite well. There were mostly sales roles, at least for the marketing students. 80% internships were from the college. Rest, the students did manage of their own. Stipends ranged from rupees 0 to 1.5 lakh a month.
Placements: Placements initially were quite streamlined, however, towards the end, only to achieve a certain percentage of placed students, a lot of students were forced to interview for unrelated fields. For eg., a student who is pursuing HR would be made to sit for a marketing role interview which is unfair as the student's career is being played with. Internships saw almost 90% of the batch placed, with no stipend being the lowest I guess and 35k per month being the highest. ...
Placements: The average package is around 7.8 LPA. The main companies around Deloitte, Infosys, TCS and banking companies as well. The placement is almost 100 percent. The highest package offered in my batch was 20 LPA by Goldman Sachs. For internships, around 70 to 80 percent student get placed via college with an average stipend of 10000k per month.
Placements: Placements are good. Various companies join us during the placement season. Most of us get placed in the first week of the placement season. Senior batch placements were also good and many companies such as Infosys, Deloitte, and Accenture visited. The average package offered is similar to what is mentioned in the prospectus of the college. They do meet the expectations of the students
The college provides a conducive environment for learning and development along with ample opportunities for extra curricular activities. There are two types of hostel rooms...twin sharing and triple sharing. The campus has a swimming pool, basketball court, football ground etc.
Placements: The major recruiters at SIMS are Infosys, Deloitte, Wipro, WNS and Credit Suisse with packages ranging from 8-15 LPA. The average package was is around 7 LPA. The profile offered solely depends on the students' background and experience in relevant field. The summer internship placements start from the month of October with maximum companies offering PPOs and PPIs to deserving students. The stipend ranges from 10-20000 per month and constant feedback is given to the college to make sure the man...
Being a part of this college was one of the best decisions I took in my life. I made wonderful friends here and created a lot of memories. The faculty is very well experiences and very highly educated. Gaining insights from them, I am sure, will help me a lot during my corporate times.
My college is one of the top 25 MBA institutes in the country with reputed alumni and good infrastructure. Since 90% of the students are from defense background, it gives us an edge over other institutes. The faculty is excellent with a lot of corporate experience and knowledge. There is a disciplinarian atmosphere in the campus due to the institute's relations to the armed forces.
The college provides decent placements with an above average ROI. There is a decent faculty for all the specializations with a common curriculum for entire Symbiosis. The location, crowd and campus life at SIMS are awesome. The college is a little slack in terms of providing infrastructure. The campus is fully Wi-Fi, but often draws the attention of the IT department of the college.
SIMS has one of the best ROI. The campus life is very good with hostel facilities for all the student managers, WiFi, Sports etc. Faculty is pretty good with rich experience of the various industry domains. SIMS also conducts managerial festivals like Barcode and Orion.
A well-established college especially for defense kids and serving personnel in Army. Provides MBA in Finance, Operation, Marketing and Human Resource. Also run executive MBA. Situated in the middle of Pune with faculty members from industry. It has best ROI. The fee is at a discount for defense people but for civilian it’s almost double. Placement is also good with an average salary package of around Rs. 7 lakh per annum. Admission through SNAP. Comes under Symbiosis International University. Y...
It is a very well-known college and it’s ranked the best among the top B schools. The best part is that it is situated in Pune. It has its branches in other places as well but the one which is in Pune is the best. The teachers are very friendly and push you to participate in all the external fests which I feel is very necessary for us though we do not like going out of our comfort zone. Attendance is a big issue here. If you do not have attendance you get penalized. Good facilities provided by t...
Decent college, decent placements. Not much value addition. Also, profiles offered aren't the great. Also, they're increasing the batch size and fees every year making it tougher. Rigid system in place and people should only go for this as the last option even though the ROI is decent. Good crowd, mostly a party crowd.
