Good college to network with individuals and gain a lot through peer learning.

Placements: Around 60% of the students were placed. The highest salary was close to 10 Lacs offered by Microsoft and the lowest pack was 3.2 Lacs offered by IBM. Only 20% of the students got an internship from college, the rest had to find internships using their own sources.

Good college for who loves GIS and remote sensing.

Placements: Placements are not that good. But if you try by yourself companies visits the college. For internship the average salary offered is about 2 LPA and if you get permanent there then twice atleast your salary get increased. Placement cell is there. Terra drone, airpix, geospoc, Tom, here maps these are companies mostly students GOT hired.

Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities, but the fee structure is high.

Placements: The placement rate of this college is decreasing every year. The college claims a placement rate of about 60% to 65%, but in reality, it barely reaches 50%. Companies coming for the mechanical department are comparatively low, but it is good for other branches. Many good companies visit our college and half of them being MNCs. You can get additional information regarding the companies that visit the campus for placements on the official college website.

The college has good infrastructure, helpful faculty members, and average placements.

Placements: It is a new college; the placement is not that bad. There weren't many companies in the electronics, civil and mechanical domain that visited the campus. Only 40% of the students got placed, and the average salary package offered is around 3.5 LPA. Most of the students were placed from computer science and IT background.

My experience in Symbiosis Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements in SIT are very good. Many good companies like Bombardier, Siemens, and Microsoft, etc., visit to recruit students. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. I recommend students joining SIT not to have backlogs because it affects your placement opportunities. Teachers are also cooperative during placements.

It provides a good college experience but lacks in management.

Placements: The placements of the college are average. The placements are good only for few branches like CS and IT department. It is average for the rest of the departments. The students get internships based on their present backlogs else almost everyone gets internships. We get high packages once we get placed although getting placed is actually hard work to do. Also, college keeps us too much occupied in things like journals and unnecessary activities. Due to all of these, we find less time for studies,...

The review of Symbiosis Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements haven't reached our expectations. We are expecting many more placement opportunities for the students of the civil and mechanical departments, but the placements for the students of the CSE and IT departments are quite good. We hope that we will be offered some placement opportunities before completing our B.Tech course. However, overall, the placements are average.

The college with a really good infrastructure and faculty members.

Placements: Overall, the placements of the college are average. If we go branch wise, then CS and IT departments have really good placement opportunities. ETC department has average placement results. The placements for mechanical and civil branches are not at all good for now. From this year, even civil department students are getting an opportunity to get placed in the core companies.

It is a college with good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: CS and IT department have much higher placement opportunities in comparison to civil and mechanical department. Civil and mechanical branch do have placements but not very high. We hope that the scenario will be changed until our graduation. However, the college is putting in efforts for that. Overall placements are good, and we are happy overall.

It's an all-round college.

Placements: Two companies came for placements of the mechanical branch this year, and many more companies came for other branches. Famous companies like Dell and many others come to recruit students, but still, the number of companies coming is very less. Selection process during the campus drives was smooth, but the number of students selected was low.

Placements: 60% students in CS-IT Department are placed successfully. The highest package is 12lacs /annum, average is 3-4 lacs. Many companies such as Persistent Solutions, Google, Microsoft, Nvidia, Infosys, etc. came. Roles are Software Engineer, Software Developer Manager.

Life at SIT. The pros and cons answered.

Placements: Placements are minimal for the electronics dpt as not many companies come for placements, whereas the CS IT department has a top notch rate in placements. The department trains you for aptitude tests, but self learning and early coaching would help better.

I would give A grade to my college because almost every facility has been provided.

Placements: There were a wide range of companies and startups which visited our institute such as value notes, bonfleet, coindelta etc. And also prestigious companies also visited the campus such as Microsoft, Dell, Nvidia. More than 75 percent of students were placed.

The placements are low for civil department, but the infrastructure and hostel life are awesome.

Placements: Placements in this college for the students of Civil engineering are almost 0%, as their background is related to construction. Hence they don't need placements by which the placements from our department are declining every year since 2010. Our college also provides us with the internships, so far 50% of the students got the internship, but are not satisfied with it. So, the students are searching internships for themselves.

Life and Lies of a Symbian.

Placements: For our seniors, the placements in electronics and CS were sensational with four recruits each for Dell, Microsoft, and Netcracker. On the mechanical and civil side, the placements were average. The internships this year were amazing with the offers from NVidia, Netcracker, TCS, and the others.

Overall, it was a memorable experience at Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune.

Placements: The placements were really good for my batch. Most of the students who wanted the placements, got one to they liking. The salary range wasn't very lucrative, but the positions offered were pretty good. There wasn't much opportunity for those who wanted the internships.

Really good infrastructure in Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune

Placements: As our branch has a 6 months internship period for all branches, the college does assist in finding internships. Most of the internships are unpaid ones. But there are a couple of internships which pay some stipend to students. Any core company is yet to come for placements this year. 2 non-technical companies have come for campus placements with 3.5-4 lacs as packages. No civil student has been placed in them yet. Last year also, placements were not so great. Most of the students either opted f...

SIT is underrated because Pune University casts its shadow.

Placements: Mostly CS companies come for placement. 50-60% get placed. No placement for civil students as of now. Good companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, Google did not come this year. IBM, Mobile Nerd, Dell, L&T, Netcracker etc. came this year. L&T took about 20 students but on a bond of 2 years.

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: - Placements were good and companies of the middle and higher tier were invited for placements. - 70 % on an average were placed. - Few of the companies that visited were Nvidia, Amazon, Infosys, Harbinger, QED42. - The highest package was 8 LPA and the average was 3.8 LPA. - Most of them were IT-related roles and a few were others for non-IT branches such as production and the automobile domain.

Symbiosis has one of the most beautiful college campuses in India. You have a market where you get all your necessities, a barber shop, snakes shops and practically whatever you require in your day to day life. Not all faculty members are well-qualified. Placements are average. Most of the companies come for CS/IT. However, there is scope if you have good knowledge.
