Very good University for B.Tech.

Placements: Placements for CS-IT are great. Companies like Microsoft, Google and Amazon also come to the campus for hiring. For electronics, the placement is okay and for mech and civil, it is not good at all. So I would suggest you go for CS-IT/E&TC only. A lot of good companies visited for CS/IT and Electronics students. Microsoft hired for Consultant role, Google hired for IT support role and Amazon hired for a non-technical roles (Product Compliance Associate). We had many private product-based firms su...

Average placements, but campus life is good.

Placements: Many companies visit the campus for internship opportunities. Also, college clubs try to bring internships for the students so that they can execute what they have learned. Projects are worked upon by faculty members that make you eligible for the internship. Campus placements are eligible for 4th-year students. Many companies like HP, Bajaj, Microsoft, and Zomato indeed visited the campus. The highest package offered was 46 LPA CTC and almost everyone gets placed.

Good college with good environment .

Placements: The students are eligible for placements in the 4th year. As this is the first batch that will pass out, we don't know the average package. But SIT Pune will be assisting our college with placements. I am going to sit for placement after my degree. The internship opportunities are provided under the Summer Internship Program. The stipend offered is generally based on performance. The projects are on the basis of the major or minor of the student.

Our college is absolutely not worth it if you want a high salary package.

Placements: I am not sure about the exact details of the percentage of students who got placed. However, the placement cell has quoted it to be above 90%. The highest salary package offered until now is 30 LPA, but that salary package was not grabbed by any of the students. However, many companies like Bajaj Finserv, Microsoft, Fraazo, etc., have offered the highest salary package of around 10 LPA-12 LPA. The average salary package offered can be around 5 LPA-6 LPA. I have no idea about the internships, but...

I had a descent and not a great experience with Symbiosis institute of technology.

Placements: Just entered 4th year, due to pandemic situation the internship semester has been shifted from 6th to 8th semester but students personally believe its because the college was unable to secure offers from companies. Also placement opportunities depends completely on the branch you select and luck. CS and it departments have opportunities with regard to placements whereas mechanical and Civil branch doesn't.

Review of SIT Pune - Symbiosis Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements for mechanical, civil and ENTC are below average, which is why most students of these branches have no option than to opt for higher studies for better placements. Only, the CS/IT branch gets the best placements with good salary package. Faculty members are least bothered about students, they solely do their teaching, and some barely care about the students and their placements.

It needs a more positive atmosphere. It has average faculty and facilities.

Placements: As unemployment has increased in our country, so it has had it's effects on placements in colleges as well. For mechanical course, few companies visit our college from the technical field for placements. Mostly software industry companies hire students, and they give 6 months training and then the real job. The average salary offered in this field ranges between 3-4 LPA.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: Placements are not up to the mark. Only CS and IT students are getting placed. Hardly 10 students are placed in electronics and telecommunications department. The highest package is 6 Lacs which is given by DELL. Even in case of internships college does't help at all. But internship sem was very useful.

The college is good for studying, but don't make your expectations high because it's symbiosis.

Placements: Well, frankly saying, the placements for a civil branch is a few. The mainstream thing is that about 60% of the students don't want campus placement as they want to study further or do business etc. One thing is for sure if you want to get placed from campus selection in civil department, the placement team will provide you placement, but the salary will not be as per your norms.

A commendable infrastructure with average faculty and course curriculum, but poor in placements.

Placements: The placements were not good, and also the companies coming for placements were not the core mechanical companies offering analytics and operations job profiles. Until the last month, a very few out of 145 students got the job opportunity, and that too was not a core mechanical job. Though a few companies are visiting the campus for placements, the job profiles and the packages are not up to the mark.

Totally dependent on the students where they want to drive their career.

Placements: The placements are okay, not too good and not too bad. It totally depends on the students how good he is and how ready is he to learn. Opportunities, at my time, were good for CS branch only. To get placed, you had to have knowledge and put in your efforts to learn.

The college is decent because of the infrastructure and the education provided.

Placements: About 20% of the students got placed in the senior batch. Most of the students sit in the CSE group placements. Many MNCs approaches the college for placement and highest package in the college is about 10 LPA. Internship can be done in 2 ways.

It is a good college if your main focus is on extracurricular as compared to academics. The college is still in its formative stage and it will take some time to grow and improve. There are good placements from many companies but the selection is more only in the CS/IT branch. Being a college in Pune, it provides us with the oppertunity to be in touch with many other college fests and functions as well.

The engineering college of symbiosis is very new to people as it was started only a few years ago and it will need time to establish itself. Since it is a new college there is room for improvement in every aspect. The infrastructure is very good. The cleanliness and maintenance of campus, hostel and mess are noteworthy. Well-set sewage treatment plants. Beautiful location and campus. Good inter-disciplinary elective options. No nuisance of ragging and bullying.

Bad - 90% of the teachers are of little use in Electronics. - Fees is high. Good - Location, infrastructure is also great but what's the use when you are paying so much and not getting quality education. I did B.Tech in Electronics and telecommunications and in the course of 4 years they even didn't teach us full form of GSM.

The college seems to be very good as they brand the institute under the name of Symbiosis International University but honestly the standards are really different. SIT doesn't force upon practical knowledge. They are least bothered about the students’ future. The only criteria by which a student is evaluated is only based upon his/her marks. The labs are not well maintained. Some of the teachers lack their knowledge in particular subjects. SIT is a below average college. The placements are not a...

Fair college, before joining do look for other colleges. They have at par government college fee.

Placements: The college has good placements. Companies like Dell, Microsoft and various startups visit the college for recruitment. They enhance students working skills. The placement is tough for E&TC department. Other branches like CS and IT have good placements.

Good infrastructure of the college.

Placements: First they give assurance later they don’t offer any internship for M.Tech. Placement is available for only Computer Science and Information technology students. For mechanical engineering students they have to find their own source to get placed. Have to do new projects for placement.
