Placements and college ambience are really good.
Placements: Lots of companies like Alstrom, Bosch, L&T visited here for campus drives. The average salary package offered was 3.2 LPA. Most of the roles offered here are trainee engineer or graduate engineering trainee. The highest salary package was offered by Alstrom, and it was 5.1 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA, and it was offered by Sobha Construction. Most of the students got selected in some companies and doing their internship there.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are available here. There are three 5-storey buildings. It has a huge playground, and the garden is also available. You can reach from any local transport service easily. Free Wi-Fi is also available for lectures and in labs. Boys hostel is also near to that college building.
Faculty: Teachers here are highly qualified and highly skilled. Even help in many things when you need for any help. Faculty members are fully competent and helpful for helping their students whenever they need them. The course is relevant to BPUT, which is the affiliated university.
Other: B.Tech degree is required for getting graduation in engineering, and also helps in skill and knowledge development. I have been working in the industry and getting a handsome amount.

The college is average in all aspects.
Placements: Almost 40% of the students from our course were placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 10,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs. 12,000 per month. Panasonic Chennai is the top recruiting company, and the top role offered in our course is GET. The highest salary package offered in our course was 1.80 LPA, while the average salary package offered was 1.44 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 1.20 LPA. Almost 54% of the students opted for CAD, CATIA and 3D printing course. They were also engaged in a study tour to the nearest steel plant. Every year about 60 students engage for an entrepreneurship course which is being held for 2 weeks, and it was approved and certified by the government. We also have enjoyment which includes picnic party and study tour, which may be at least 200 km away from our college location.
Infrastructure: Our college includes all the minimum facilities which are required for students to study. It has more than 40 classrooms, a huge auditorium for any event and seminars. It has all sorts of departments and labs as per the courses which it offers for students. Our college has a library which includes more than 600 books of every branch. It has the facility of providing newspapers in regional languages like Hindi and English which help students to keep updated themselves with the time as per the current affairs. Our college has hostels for boys and girls, and there may be 250 students in every batch, including all branches. It has a huge playground, cafeteria, basketball ground, and it also provides facilities for indoor games. There is a little bit problem with food, especially for the hostellers. I have not seen medical facilities yet, but if someone is serious, then our college provides transportation facilities in a critical situation. Overall, the campus is medium, but it looks large.
Faculty: As I have spent here for 4 years, I know every teacher as well as students. Students have unity among each other if they focus only on their profits. Else none of the students supports. However, few of them support when they realise that they are alone here, especially those who are from other states. Few teachers are cooperative, and they complete their course at any cost whether the students understand or not. I faced a lot of problems not only with our branch teachers but also with the staff members those who are appointed for college representative. I also faced a problem with the fee collection. They are very irritating and not good that they won't let you register for the next semester if you pay late the course fee. Even though you have approval from CMD for the fee instalments, they won't let you register. Some of them are very good, but some try to play with students situation.
Other: I have chosen mechanical engineering only because of my father recommendation. It has only a positive point that if you have practical knowledge, then you are going to engage in any of the industry. I think how much our university is providing us to study is enough, but I think there must be practical practices with machines and cars. Our college provides all the facilities such as scholarships, fests and extracurricular activities only if students are ready to invest money on their own. Our college does not have an interest in the student's development. It has only the responsibility for self-development.

The college is good but not up to the mark for pursuing engineering.
Placements: About 30% of the students were placed at a trainee post, but there is no further guarantee of becoming a permanent employee. The highest salary offered was Rs. 14,500 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 10,000 per month. Wipro is the top recruiting company of our college. Students are offered with the role of a trainee with operation on machine and materials.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good and well-maintained. Labs were updated, but the faculty members here are average and do not speak in English usually. The library is also good and well-maintained, but books that are being kept are not updated regularly. There is no source in college through which you can get information regarding the ongoing trends in technology. Hostel infrastructure is good, and the rooms are big. But the facility is not satisfactory.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are below-average. Teaching quality is also not good neither the course material is updated. None of them gives attention to students on how can they get placed and compete with the upcoming technology and trends. This course curriculum is relevant, but all the topics are not taught in the college.
Other: I have chosen this course because it has a vast opportunity for jobs both in the private and public sectors and further studies.

I am very much satisfied because of infrastructure, faculty members, location and fees structure.
Placements: Our college always had a very good placement relationship with Wipro since it was established. But our college provides less placements compared to other colleges in Odisha, and only small companies provide placements here. Overall, our college is weak in terms of placements. In the previous year, the highest salary was Rs. 80,000 per month. There is a placement cell, but placements are not as expected.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. Students can enjoy the facilities like a library, reading room, gym, etc. Hostel rooms are also good, but the food served in the canteen is poor. There is a basketball court, football field and cricket field. On the campus, there are 2 building, and 3 hostels, i.e., one for girls and 2 for boys only.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful to students. If you want to study seriously, every college is best for you. However, in our college, faculty members are very good and well qualified. Officials are also very good. Industrial visit is conducted for students every year.
Other: All governments provide scholarships in our college. Every year we organise an annual festival named as Synfest, and all branches also organise their own branch fest. After that, hostel fest is held for all hostels separately. Our college celebrates other festivals like Ganesh puja, Saraswati puja, Independence Day, Republic Day, etc. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled with 4G speed. Our college is situated beside Dhenkanal city and surrounded by mountains and forests which is very beautiful and provides a calm and peaceful place to study.
