In order to be eligible to apply for MBA at TAPMI, the applicant must have completed graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. In case of opting for an MBA in Technology Management, interested candidates must have a minimum of two years of work experience.

Moreover, final-year students are also eligible to apply. However, the admission shall be canceled if they are unable to obtain a minimum of 50% in their graduation.

Candidates need to complete any UG degree with at least 50% aggregate to apply for TAPMI Manipal MBA programme. Final year students may also apply. The CAT score required for TAPMI varies depending on the category of the candidate. TAPMI CAT cutoff is released for admission to the MBA course at the time of admission. However, based on the previous year's trends, the required CAT cutoff for General category candidates is around 85 percentile. 

Also, the cutoffs for admission to TAPMI may vary for candidates with work experience of more than 20 months. The institute follows a profile-based shortlisting process that considers various factors such as academic performance, work experience, and extracurricular achievements. 

TAPMI maintains an overal CAT percentile of 85 for its MBA course from the past three years (2020, 2021 and 2022) for the General All India category student. Considering the past three years cutoff percentile, there is high chances that a student can get a call from TAPMI with 80 percentile in CAT. However, final admission will be based on CAT/ XAT cutoff score, followed by candidates' performance in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview round. Besides, candidates who have qualified CAT, MAT, NMAT or GMAT can also get admission to MBA. Candidates selected based on the entrance exam score are further called for group discussion and personal interview round.
