Review of Tamilnadu College of Engineering.

Placements: Our batch had online placement drives. All of us got placed in good companies. If you don't have any backlogs, you can get placed on your own in core companies too. Some companies also allow students with backlogs if they have good skills.

The infrastructure of the college can be maintained well.

Placements: Only a few students got placed from college. Most of them got selected through off-campus and in the walking interviews. The highest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 8,000 per month. KPIT and Zoho were the top recruiting companies in our college. The software engineer was the role offered. In our course, the highest salary package offered was 3.3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was Rs. 96,000 per annum. It would be better if the institution conduct fests in a better way.

Placements: The infrastructure of the overall campus is actually nice. It has a decent hostel with all the necessary facilities like electricity through out the day. Warm water in winters, Wi-Fi, etc. College has decent laboratories and a library to encourage your knowledge with standard books. And all the places are cleaned time to time. It would be better if the institution conduct fests in a better way.

Review of Tamilnadu College of Engineering.

Placements: Placements are the best, but the companies visiting our college are the worst. Maximum companies are BPO, and they ask money for placement services. After getting placed, they don't respond correctly.

Placements: Placements in our college are good with a minimum package of 1.5-2.5 LPA. Every student is trained by professional trainers to develop their soft skills. Aptitude classes are also conducted. The college also arranges off-campus drives for all the students interested in it. Overall, good placements are provided for all the students interested in getting placed.

Placements, infrastructure and faculty members are good.

Placements: The placements in our college are average. The college conducts off-campus drives as well. The college arranges free transport facilities for the students to attend off-campus drives in other colleges. Placement training is provided by the senior faculty. The college conducts workshops and seminars to provide the best practices for the students to get selected in the placements. Only a few companies visit the campus to conduct on-campus drives.

Great place to spend 4 years of your like.

Placements: The placement programme for electrical and circuit branches are quite strong. Almost all the students got placed. The civil, auto and mechanical branches had no such luck. But many mechanical students were considered for mahindra and mahindra ltd. And some got placed. For the rest there were talks of interview but nothing happened. In the electrical and circuit branches the highsalary was 5 LPA and many were placed in pco with the lowest salary of 1.8 LPA. For mahindra the candidates got 40000 p...

It is a good place to learn and there is freedom to study.

Placements: The placements are well and good. In an academic year, above 60 percent were placed in MNCs or other companies. The salary offered for freshers is Rs. 10,000 per month to Rs. 40,000 per month. Topmost MNC companies such as Zoho, Cognizant and TCS etc., visited my college. It is a good campus to study and have freedom.

It is a heaven for the students.

Placements: There are no placements here and it was also not good for my department. But on comparing with the non-core branches, there is a lot of placement opportunity for the circuit branches. In our branch, lab facility is good. The staff here give a lot of freedom to students. The canteen food here is just normal, and lemon juice here is terrible.

It is okay for middle class people, when compared to other college fees.

Placements: In my college days, they provided very less placement. But, I am not sure about the current scenario. Better ask current passed out students. The college provides at least one off-campus interview, but you have to crack the interview. They will conduct placement training, but it is not worthy.

It is a good place to enjoy the college life with self-learning

Placements: Placements in our college are good. But mostly non-core related companies visited our campus for placements. But still, they try to do their best. I got placed in the core, but still, many students didn't even get placed in non-core related companies. Overall, the college is average in placement for the students. Many of the students are not satisfied with placements.

TCE - Give us money, we screw your life.

Placements: There was no such thing as a placement cell. Although there is a room captioned placement cell, the faculty resigned and it has been useless ever since. There was no placement training. We had to attend off site campus interviews if we ever wanted jobs. No one came here for placements.

It’s an old and a good college. The environment and infrastructure is pleasant. The staffs are experienced and the department provides in depth knowledge to the students. Various department and cultural activities are conducted regularly where the students can cast the talent in them. Workshops and conferences are conducted in order to make the students bring in the latest technology in the industry.

TCE, is a place where you are set 90% free. It is the first Private College in the State of Tamil Nadu. I personally advice you that if you are a sports person you can join TCE without being much concerned about other factors. It is one of the best college which supports and promotes sports activities. Staff Members are not up to the mark. But some good teachers are there. So, if you are more self-focused you can join this college.

Established in 1984 Tamil nadu College of Engineering is one of the oldest private engineering colleges in South. The overall experience was memorable and good and it has its bitterness in some points. The hostel facility are average and transportation facility for days scholars are average too. I'm very satisfied with campus atmosphere, hostel and the freedom that the college provides.

Placements: The highest salary is offered by the company Zoho i.e 7 LPA. The next highest offer is 5.5 LPA by info view. Approximately, 10 MNCs visit our campus and other than that, a few startups in Chennai and Coimbatore visit the college. The average salary is around 2.5 LPA.
