I like this college because of its good infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: We didn't have the benefit of placements because we studied B.Sc. geography which is a 3-year course. Infosys offered off-campus placements for students from this course. I don't know about the percentage of students who got internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was good. It had a big library, beautiful gardens, canteen, medical facilities, labs, and classrooms. A basketball court and a big playground were available.
Faculty: All teachers were good and helped us a lot. Teachers were highly qualified. There were extracurricular activities. The course didn't make students industry-ready. Semester exams were difficult in our college and the pass percentage was 40%.
Other: I chose geography because it was my favorite subject. I failed so I transferred my honors course to a general course.

I am very much satisfied because of faculty and good placements, even though my aim is to pass UPSC.
Placements: At least 70%-75% of the students could get placements from this course. I don't know much about salary packages, but at least students can get salary packages depending on their performance. The highest salary package offered is around 15 LPA, and the average salary package offered is around 9 LPA-10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is about 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: There are a lot of facilities in our college like a laboratory, library, etc., but the infrastructure is average. There is a library, but the books are very limited. There is a canteen, but I am very disappointed with the taste of the food served in it. There is a basketball court, but there is no tournament of basketball.
Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful. They are very highly knowledgeable and qualified from renowned universities. Many teachers have a unique type of teaching, but some are average in teaching. In this pandemic situation, I think all the semester exams became easier for every student because now they can attend exams online from home.
Other: I chose this course because I just want to pursue one bachelor degree in computer science because it will be helpful to me in qualifying my UPSC examination. The board members of UPSC ask many questions related to computer technology, and my ambition is to pass UPSC.

All things can't be positive; some negative things are present.
Placements: I don't know about placement. It's for commerce students. I'm a microbiology student, so I have no idea about this. I heard that placement is not good in our college, but I'm not sure of that. But our college is known for the commerce department, and it's really good.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available but the connection is very poor in some areas. Network problems are there. Laboratories are very good, but they are not air-conditioned, so it can be uncomfortable. Classrooms are airy and well-lit. The library is peaceful, and various types of books are available.
Faculty: The faculty of microbiology is good. The teachers are very helpful. They provide notes and teach very well. Our college is under Calcutta University, so the question paper is made by them. Teachers and their teaching procedures are appreciable.
Other: Scholarships are available.

Our college provides good infrastructure and many things to learn.
Placements: For B.Sc in geography course, there are no placements from this institution. After completing B.Sc, you can apply for M.Sc or MA in all universities, or you can opt for competitive exams. This course obviously helps you with competitive exams, and you have much scope after B.Sc.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility, but this institution has great infrastructure and departmental facilities. Our college also has good lab facility for geography and other subjects. In this institution, there is a canteen, but you can only get vegetarain food items, and the quality of the food is average.
Faculty: Teachers here are very much helpful and are always ready to help you with the help of their knowledge. Whenever you need, you can approach them and ask for help. Their teaching quality is average, but practicals are very good to understand. In geography, you will have an excursion which will be a memorable experience.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is very much helpful for competitive exams because of the past subjects offered by this institution. Those subjects are political science and economics.

Good college for those who wants to study.
Placements: In placements, TCS came for the recruitment, and a few no of student got their opportunity. There is also no placement cell as you have to find your own way, but the students from the film study and journalism get a job from their respected field. The placement which was arranged by the college usually offers around Rs. 10,000 per month of the salary package.
Infrastructure: There will be a clean new campus library with computers. Also, facilities like air-conditioned classes, a canteen with clean atmosphere, one of the finest microbiology lab of Kolkata, etc., will be present in the college. There will be no hostels there. Also, the food of the canteen is good, but the cost is a bit high. As the building is new, so the quality aspects are new, so I have never faced any issue with its infrastructure. Also, as it is a new college, everything is clean here.
Faculty: Teachers are good and qualified, as well as they help students. But as it is a general college, you will not be able to find an industrial exposure like those in technical colleges. The college also offers the general course as well as the honours in microbiology, computer Science, journalism and film studies, geography, English, etc.

Review of Tara Devi Harakh Chand Kankaria Jain College.
Placements: Generally, you will get a chance to get admission in various other colleges, which give you an M.Sc degree. From our college, students mainly get a chance in St. Xavier college. But from our college, none of the students can get a job directly from this stream. So, we should have to complete graduation, and then we will get a job.
Infrastructure: Our college has a fantastic library, clean classrooms, along with a good seminar hall and good facilities for sports. In our college, there is a digital library as well as a Wi-Fi facility. The canteen is good, and the medical facilities are above average. Overall, in all fields, our college is good.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful, cooperative and supportive. They help me in various ways, and I am thankful to them. They help us very much and work hard daily for us, and we respect them for that. I am thankful to our principal MA'am also, and she always helps us.
