Good college only for study but not for placements.
Placements: As we all know pandemic hits many of the industry so this time very few companies came for interview. Mostly virtual interviews are conducted and every company hire limited number of students. And those companies offer package 2LPA to 5LPA the highest. Some good companies off campus recruitment news also shared by the placement department but that's a very different things from college placement. In my opinion my college's placements is not that good.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of Trident college is very good and the professor have also enough knowledge about tier respective subject, all the facilities available whatever you expect in 2021 from a good college. Library is also very good and the environment inside the library is very calm and suitable for self study. Hostel is also very good but one problem is that in a room 4 students will be stay. That is kind of irritating. Hostel canteen is well maintained Every year first one month ( when freshers come ) food is top notch after one month food is back to its original hostel style standard.
Faculty: To be honest teachers are well qualified, very helpful and knowledgeable also. Some teachers have some kind of attitude issue but if you cope up with them then it will works with you. Course curriculum is provided by BPUT and yes those are industry ready also. Semester exam paper are set by BPUT and during the semester exam checking are very Strick and Examiners try to prevent all kind of cheating as much as they can. They have strictly orders to do those things otherwise necessary action will be taken on them. So they bound to do such things.
Other: I was pursuing Mechanical engineering course but at the end of 1st year I got interested in programming a lot. That's a different thing. But I wish that if professor are use video or animation during a topic then that would be easy to understand and also students are not distracted. Various types of events are conducted in college. Like TechFest, TriFest, sports day ect. Also college provide some government scholarship to tier bright students and those students who falls under the criteria.

Really good infrastructure and atmosphere for a student to excel.
Placements: 20% of the students were placed in my course. However, the placements for other branches are far better. Good placements for the IT students and Computer Science Engineering department. Nice environment for students following their passion in extracurricular activities.
Infrastructure: Good Wi-Fi, nice and peaceful library with supporting faculty members and Head of Departments of respective courses/branches. Nice hostel with a great atmosphere, good and healthy food. Good medical facilities are also provided for immediate assistance in case of emergency.
Faculty: Supporting faculty members who give their best to make the students industry-ready. The teachers are helpful, qualified and the staffs are also dedicated. Practical experiences of the teachers are shared with the students for technical as well as non-technical sector.

It is a well-maintained college in infrastructure as well as in education.
Placements: Almost 50-60% of the students got placed. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA and the maximum salary package offered is 7 LPA. Many companies for different branch visit here like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro and Infosys. They also provide summer internship and industrial visit. Mainly IT companies hire students from all branches for the development profile.
Infrastructure: Our college campus is very good, with spacious classrooms and a library with a very good collection of books. Wi-Fi is provided in labs but not in classrooms. The hostel is good to stay as the rooms are spacious and neat, and clean and hygienic food is provided.
Faculty: Teachers here are well-knowledgeable and well-qualified. They make the classes interesting and understandable so that students don't get bored during the lecture. They also conduct extra classes if required, to make things easier. They provide various mini-projects apart from the main to show our analytical thinking.

The college has a good infrastructure.
Placements: Around 15% of the students from our course are placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, L&T, Capgemini, Microsoft and HDFC are the top recruiters of our college. Students are offered with the role of a software engineer. In our course, the average salary package offered ranges from 2.5 LPA to 12 LPA. Around 50% of the students got an internship in the past few years.
Infrastructure: The college provides 24x7 Wi-Fi, labs, non-air-conditioned classrooms, power and water supply, bus service, ambulance, training cell and markers space. Hostels are well-maintained with 24x7 water and power supply. There are on-campus volleyball, basketball court and a large field. Ambulance service is also available here.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified and trained. Teaching quality is satisfactory. Personal doubts can also be cleared. Students are not that much industry-ready, but only to some extent. Markers space like Microsoft, AI labs, Cisco and thingQbator are provided in the college.
Other: I have chosen this course to get a good job opportunity. The best thing about this course is they provide both hardware and software training. The college should invite more core companies to the college as only software companies visit here. Events are organised in our college once in a year. The campus is not much crowded. They also conduct annual sports and cultural activities.

Core branch-Engineering from most colleges of state is a sham.
Placements: Placement tended to zero. 4-5 mechanical company visited the campus. One had selected 4 students but didn't conduct the Skype round which was to follow the interview round. Another good company had shortlisted 8 students but they are yet to get the intimation letter. S As I can remember only one student was placed. That's also because a group of 10-12 students went to Delhi for interview of a company. Only one student accepted the offer as the salary was too less around 10k/pm.
Infrastructure: Campus is considered to be a smaller one among engineering colleges. But the infrastructure is good. Hostel rooms are furnished. Food was way better in 2018 than when I joined in 2014. Wi-Fi wasn't available to us. The ground is little small for cricket, football. Good sporting culture otherwise. Labs are well-equipped.
Faculty: The college is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology. So it follows the curriculum as prescribed by the University. It is always changing. So can't comment on this. Facilities are okay. Classes are conducted regularly. Clubs aren't as efficient or functional as you expect them to be. Except for the dance groups. Surely among the bests of the state.
