Moderated college with low hope of placements.

Placements: The placements for mechanical engineering department were very bad. Only 20 to 25 students out of 120 got placed through central campusing. No company visited this college for recruitment. The average package offered was ?Rs.18000 per month. 20 students were placed in 6 different companies. Out of those, most renowned were Pinnacle and BYJUS.

TICT, Kolkata is a college for b.Tech aspirants. Average placements and loads of fun.

Placements: There is a poor percentage of successful placements. The companies that come for the placement are TCS, Accenture and few small companies. Infosys, a major big player, does not recruit from this college due to some issues with TPO of the college. TCS is a major recruiter and covers 80% of the total placements.

A 3-star college. Most importantly, it maintains rules.

Placements: As it is a non-government college, you can't expect more. However, the placement is not bad. It will totally depend on your score. If your score is good, then you may get a chance. You have to remember that not a lot of companies come to this college. Most of the time, you have to face pool campus placements.

The college is the future building dream scorer and helps to move towards the aspirations.

Placements: During 2015, they gave a good amount of placement if you could crack it up. Around, nine companies came up to the campus for the placements. The campusing is more for BCA and BBA students than for B.Tech students. In the year 2014, they provided a good amount of placements in the MNCs like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro.

The placements are very poor.

Placements: The placement condition is very poor. In CSE and IT, the placement is 30%. For other branches, it's very less. Last year, there are around 36 students placed from the whole college of which 19 students are from CSE and IT by Cognizant, and it's the mass recruiter this time.

Not good for mechanical engineering. But for the computer science or other branches its good.

Placements: As the mechanical engineering is new for Kolkata, so the placement is not that great. 4-5 students were placed among 160, and the lowest and the average salary offered was 3.5 LPA. The companies visited were for mechanical are Capgemini, Cumins and some infrastructure companies. No students got an internship at the college.

Good faculty, worth considering

Placements: Placements are not very good. I never heard of placements more than 5-6 in the mechanical engineering department. Mainly, the core branches of engineering (mechanical, civil, electrical) do not get good placements, though the department of CSE, IT and ECE get better numbers in placements.

Review of Techno India College of Technology.

Placements: Many companies visit the college for placements, but the placement record is not good. The college does not provide placement opportunities for the students who have been detained for a year. The college provides training sessions before attending the placements. Microsoft had already recruited two students of TICT. Many other companies like Amazon, Cognizant visit the college for placements.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty but the infrastructure is not good

Placements: The placement is quite good, mainly IT companies come to the placement, many reputed companies like Microsoft come for the placement, but for other branches placement is not good. In this year the highest package is 14 lakh per annum. This year about 60% of the students got placed from CSE in a reputed company.

An average engineering college. Needs improvement.

Placements: The placement of this college is equivalent to that of all the average colleges of Kolkata. Only a few students are selected for good companies that give a decent package as well as a job where a person can actually learn. Majority of the students are recruited by some mass recruiters.

If you want a job from the college, never take admission in TICT.

Placements: The placement record of any core department in all the colleges under MAKAUT is very poor. Only 15 to 20 percent students get placed and their salary package is very poor. We were told from the second year to prepare for GATE because college can't give placements. The salary packages offered by the companies are at an average of 2.5 LPA. Though Hyundai, Asahi and Ramco came to recruit, they hired 1 to 2 students. Another disadvantage of this college is you have to compete against all the studen...

Nothing special about this college.

Placements: The placements of CSE, ECE, IT branches are good. Mostly IT companies like TCS, Infosys etc visit our campus for placements. But last year Microsoft also visited our campus for placements. Rest of the branches not so good. Branches like mechanical and civil have minimum placement. Maximum 4-5 students get placed every year. The rest of them try for off-campus placements.

Less friendly faculties, poor placements in 2016, good college location, infrastructure is decent.

Placements: I am currently in my final year and so I went through a hectic placement process which begins in our college from mid-August. Till now, 17 to 18 companies came to our college for recruitment including Microsoft and Amazon BPO though only one brilliant student got into Microsoft. I actually got placed in two companies namely CGI and Mindtree. Both of them are giving an annual compensation of 3.25LPA and that is the average salary package offered by the companies in our college. The highest salary...

Just dissatisfied by the college but I don't blame .

Placements: I am currently in 2nd year and as if know I know that out of 16 I guess only 4-5 of them got placed that too in some usually and common company names we know. So am not very sure about the placement rate they really told me about while I was taking admission here.

I am dissatisfied because of the bad college environment, bad placement from last three years.

Placements: Placement is good for IT and CS branch but very poor for the Mechanical and Civil department. College should take the initiative for mechanical branch placement. A few years back TCS was the maas recruiter for all the branches, but from last three years, TCS is also not recruiting from TICT.

The college is under development.

Placements: There are placement opportunities, but students need to be the best in college. Students should be good at both academics and projects. Some extra co-curricular activities enhance students reputation at the interviews. It is better for students to not rely on placements because it is very tough to get placed.
