Review of Techno India Salt lake.

Placements: The placement scenario of the college is a bit low for our stream compared to other IT-intensive branches. Nevertheless, many of our seniors have been placed in reputed companies with a variety of job profiles like management, analysis, marketing, IT support, etc., apart from the seldom brushing with core civil engineering companies.

If anyone wants to do something in engineering field, I suggest not to choose this college.

Placements: Placements in our college are very poor, and an average of 2-3 students get placed on the campus. There are many reasons behind it. Some teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, but even they won't give their best because of the lazy environment present in the department office.

A review of Techno India Salt Lake.

Placements: Placements for the students of civil and mechanical departments are low. Few companies visited our college and offered low salary packages. Many companies offered good salary packages for the students of CS, IT and electrical departments. The highest salary package offered was around 8 LPA. Companies like TCS and Infosys visit our college for mass recruitment. The college provides summer training in various companies, but they are not paid internships.

Satisfied with the college because of placements.

Placements: Placements in our college are very normal but not much good. I think it is better than many other colleges because the fee is very affordable. The number of companies that visit our college is decent. The mass recruiter of this college is TCS, which is a good company.

Our college is the best private college in Kolkata, and nothing feels good about this college.

Placements: Last year, the placement percentage was over 80%. TCS is the mass recruiter as it bagged a wholesome of 350 students. Apart from TCS, several other reputed companies like Deloitte, ThoughtWorks, Virtusa, IBM, Wipro, etc., visit the campus for placements. Almost over 15 companies visited the campus for placements.

Lab facilities on the campus need improvement.

Placements: In my batch, around 50% of the students got placed on the campus. Most of the students were taken by TCS, which offered the salary package of 3.36 LPA, and the highest salary is offered to ME student. The companies like Asahi, Microsoft, Directi, Cerner, Delloite, Acolyte, SAP, Intel, Adobe, and McAfee visit the campus for placements. There is a placement cell on the campus, and it is responsible for bringing companies to college for recruitment. The maximum salary package is 13 LPA, and the min...

Techno India - A breif introduction.

Placements: Placements were okay. The majority was for TCS. But there was a stalemate after TCS. After TCS there were very limited options. There were a few drives conducted all across WB and college students were allowed to participate in them. Infosys came and took a few studnets.

If you just want to be an engineer, ie to have a B.Tech degree, join this college. Otherwise don't.

Placements: Placements are decreasing year by year. This year around 85 students got placed form CSE department out of 150. Other departments have not good placements at all. IT department has also got some good in this number. The worst is for core departments. Still students manage to get off campus jobs. Maximum on campus packages reach 12-15 Lacs pa, not more than that.

Fee structure are not so much expensive (40000 per sem). Some of teacher are awesome.

Placements: Placement are quite good. Tata consultancy services is our mass recruiter, and the average package is 2.5-3 Lacs per annum. Theri are some more companies who hire us. For the computer Science and information technology there are some more core competencies who hire only technical guys. And placement ratio are quite good, almost 90%. But for civil and mechanical scene are different.

Overall its a good college as long as you are a hardworker.

Placements: Placements of this college is not that bad. But I can't say that its too good. I came to know from some of my passout students that the situation of placements are getting worse with each passing year. Now recruiters look for something extra in students apart from the academic results. The highest package last year, as far as I know is around 10 lacs.

Dissatisfied with teaching methods and also with the infrastructure.

Placements: The placements were not quite good as compared to the previous years. The Companies like microsoft and google came but the placements was just fifty percent. The highest package was 12 Lacs and the average package being 4 Lacs. The placement cell of the college is quite efficient.

Bad infrastructure, average placement and faculty, really good fests are organised.

Placements: Some good companies do offer jobs with good salary, but only a handpicked number of 10-20 people get these jobs. The rest of the college struggles to get a job. To speak of the real scenario, no core companies come to the campus. Even core branch students wait for mass recruiting IT companies.

It is a hope killing average college with no restrictions.

Placements: The placement is the main concern here. For the civil mechanical department, the placement is really very few, hardly 5 to 6 people manage to get into a core sector. 25 percent of the whole batch gets placed in IT firms or software company. Rest of the students remain unplaced. The placement team organises pool campus for all the techno colleges where around 15 colleges take part. Coming to the CSE and IT departments, 60 percent of the students got placed by the end of the course. The average pl...

Techno India is an average college in West Bengal.

Placements: Here, the placements are good. Around, thirty to forty companies come for the placement. I got a salary package of 8+2 LPA. Almost, Ninety percent of people got placed in the last and this batch. The companies like Deloitte, Microsoft, TCS, Accolite, Bjyu's, Hitachi, Cognizant, Persistence, McAfee, and Intel comes for the placement.

Not well satisfied because of placements in our breach mainly, no core companies etc.

Placements: Campus is small (there is no almost place for extra curriculum activities). Placement is average or sometimes below average. No core companies for mechanical students and some other branches. Only CSE and IT students got some good placements that too at very low wages. Every year there is a strike of 4th year students because they do not get placement.

Overall, the college is good. The college needs to be better regarding outdoor sports facility.

Placements: The part of this college is a huge success. But for recent years, it is struggling like any other engineering colleges including government. Most of the students got placed in IT-sector company, and for some years, there is almost no core company. I think a huge number of students intake is the problem. But recently, professors are trying to reach the higher level with some new course implementation. Due to the trends of core companies, there will be no job without highly qualified college or GA...

Satisfied with its upcoming growth.

Placements: The placements at the current time are good. As the current market is not much favourable for freshers, there weren't huge recruitments, but if we compare with the current situation, it is above the mark. And, the doors are still open as many companies are arriving. TCS, Microsoft, Deloitte are some companies that visited here.

Techno India Salt Lake college review.

Placements: Core company placements are quite of average quality, but quite a handful of successful placements are there in CSE and all the departments. Being in civil department, I would like to suggest the future aspirants that kindly collate all the relevant information before seeking a good admission.

Average placements with less fee.

Placements: Placement in our batch was average. If you are an average student and have a bit luck in your favour, you will be placed. TCS is our mass recruiter. Apart from that, few big companies like Thoughtworks, Persistent, Delloite etc., also visit our campus. Few of them come for a good profile, whereas the others come for the sales profile. Even Microsoft is visiting our campus since last 2 years and is offering CTC of Rs. 9 lakhs, but they come for the support profile. Every year placement scenario i...

The college is really amazing for me.

Placements: TCS, Wipro, IBM like this type of companies visits the college. They recruit based on our studies, behaviour and discipline towards teachers. I am pursuing the 2nd year, but apart from the seniors who faced placement they get jobs in different sectors, even the result is bad, but they also advise to be a confident communicator and straightforward in the time of interview.
