B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2025
Offered by Technocrats Institute of Technology (Excellence)

I recommend this college only for CSE and IT courses.
Placements: Very few students got placed in mechanical engineering. Only CSE and IT students get placement offers from companies like SAP Labs, TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Capgemini and many more. The average package offered is 3.25 LPA, the highest package offered is 20.5 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.54 LPA.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi on campus. Labs are very good. The hostel has very good facilities, and the food quality is good. The mess and canteen are good. Medical facilities are not available.
Faculty: Faculty members in our department are very knowledgeable. I am in my 3rd semester. We don't have industry visits. 3rd semester results were very bad. The pass percentage was 10%.
Other: I love cars and machines. So, I chose mechanical engineering. I want to prepare for GATE. I don't get a scholarship.

Really good engineering college.
Placements: The salary package offered is average, which is around 4 LPA in CSE IT. Companies like Wipro, Paytm, TCS, etc., have recruited students from here. TCS and Capgemini offer internships with a stipend of about Rs. 20,000 per month. There are good opportunities for internships. Apollo, Indian Navy, Byju's, Capgemini, Tata Motors, Tech Mahindra, HC, L&T, Oracle and many more companies visited here, and they offered good salary packages.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not the same as shown in the photos, and it is not good. However, the campus is good, and it has a separate department for all the branches, which is good. The hostel is the worst, and the mess and canteen are also the worst. There are fewer sports.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They helped a lot not only with doubts but also help in some college activities if we need it. Semester exams are easy for us just because of some good teachers. The pass percentage is 33% of marks, and every student passed semester exams because of internal and external marks.
Other: I chose this course based on my interest. This course gives practical knowledge apart from theoretical knowledge.

I am dissatisfied with placements because no good core companies had visited here.
Placements: Maximum 10-15% of the students were selected on the campus. The highest salary offered was Rs. 18,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 8,000 per month. The top recruiting company of our college is Asahi India glass Ltd, but no one got selected in this drive. Sales and marketing are the major roles for which most of the companies are centred. In our course, the highest salary package offered was approximately 2.2 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA. None of the students got an internship from our college, and there was no course for that.
Infrastructure: Labs are available here, but they are mostly for showcase purpose. The infrastructure of our college is good. The library is good, but there is no freedom to study. Wi-Fi facility is available, but it is secured, so students do not get access. Hostel facilities are good. However, most of the students take food from outsider mess because canteen material is not good. Medical and sports facilities are not available here.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, and out of 100, 2 or 3 teachers are from NIT. They are not well-qualified. Teaching quality during the first year is excellent, but after that, it was the same as other private colleges. The course is according to bookish, and there is no practical knowledge. Most of the time, they focus only on theory, attendance and exam percentage, so students do not become industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because pursuing engineering from the mechanical branch has more scope in industries, and students from the mechanical branch can fit in almost all types of industries. The college should make students be prepared for more emphasis on practical knowledge. Since after engineering, the major exam is GATE for PSU and higher studies, so in the course curriculum, there should be a provision for preparation of GATE.

Review of Technocrats Institute of Technology (Excellence).
Placements: Placements in Technocrats Institute of Technology are average. Some of the companies visit here, but they recruited only 15 to 20 students. The placement rate in our course is 10% because 2 or 3 companies visited here, where we allowed to attend. The highest salary packages this year approximately was 15 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Many companies like Infosys, IBM, TCS, Tata Motors, etc., visit here to recruit students.
Infrastructure: Technocrats Institute of Technology has a very beautiful infrastructure in Bhopal. It has been getting the award of the best infrastructure in Bhopal. In our college, they have 3-5 gardens and a cricket ground. In this college, classrooms are neat and clean, and they are being cleaned every day. There is no Wi-Fi facility available because students came here to study, not for other things. There are 2 libraries and 2 halls. In our college, many sports are organised like cricket, kabaddi, basketball, badminton, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members in Technocrats Institute of Technology are very helpful and possess good teaching skills. They are well-qualified, and they are PhD holders. Many faculty members are professors. Teachers are providing the best knowledge, but every semester a subject is not taught well because the teacher is not good.
Other: I have chosen this course because, in the mechanical engineering field, many of the government jobs are available as compared to others. In the mechanical branch, many PSUs offer jobs.

Our college organises many events.
Placements: Placements in our college are good. It depends on the abilities to work in your field. Recently, a student got placed in Amazon with the highest salary package of 12 LPA. For placements, regular PSD lectures are organised, which not only help in placements but also helps to make fit for a competitive world.
Infrastructure: LAN facility is available on the campus with unlimited data per day. Medical facilities are also available on the campus. Games and sports are conducted once a week. Classrooms are good and clean. Laboratories are good with good lab assistants, and the functioning of machines are also good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very good, well-educated and PhD holders from prominent colleges in India. The teaching quality is good. They provide basic tutor classes for solving our doubts. Good labs are available in our college. Courses are taught with basic knowledge.
