Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Hello, I'm from the 2023 batch in the field of B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. It's been more than a year at VIT Bhopal University, and I think I'm eligible for the review. The percentage of students that were placed in my course was, I think, nearly 80%. The highest package offered was near 35 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average was 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Google, TCS, and IBM. I think 60% or less get the internship from our course, and some get into famous companies like Lenovo or Google.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. It's not basic, but it's actually awesome. There's a library, reading room, different types of labs, grounds, and average Wi-Fi connectivity. In the hostel, there's also a good Wi-Fi connection, a Wi-Fi room to study online with the best Wi-Fi speed possible, 2 gyms, a medical room, a 2-chair salon, 3 messes, and many more.

Faculty: Some teachers are good, some are bad. You will be given a choice before every semester of which teacher you want to be studied under. You can ask your seniors about the best teachers and enroll in their classes for the respective subjects. Semester exams are quite difficult as they are based on the subject; the much the subject, the more difficult the exam. There is no pass percentage as it depends on the grades. There are S, A, B, C, D, E, F, and N grades, where F means fail and N means debarred or exam not attempted.

Other: I chose this course as I was and am interested in this field. I love technology and wanted to know more about it. Some things I feel could be better are giving more hands-on projects and more practical and real-life projects, which could have helped me a lot. Maybe they will provide those kinds of projects as I don't exactly know, as I'm in my second year.

VIT Bhopal: A Fun Place to Study and Develop.

Placements: Placements in VIT Bhopal are not upto the mark as heard from seniors. They keep going for interviews and end up getting unplaced. They keep traveling to other VIT branches, but VIT placement is centralized, and VIT Vellore is prioritized over Bhopal. The highest placement here is 58 LPA as per my knowledge, and TCS is the karta dharta of VIT Bhopal.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okayish. Not so upto the mark, not that bad. There are very few labs, and the library is also quite comfortable. Sports and games facilities are good here. Sports competitions are held twice here; one is named Aarambh and Advitya. Every time there are competitions in Kabaddi, badminton, football, cricket, etc., for both girls and boys.

Faculty: Faculty here is good. Like if you just want to focus on study only and not much concerned about college life, etc., you must join VIT Bhopal. They provide a lot of options to participate in many things. The foundation of VIT Bhopal is strong. Teachers help a lot in every aspect. The course curriculum is also relevant.

Other: Being from Delhi, I do not feel much good here. You should prioritize your other options for college before coming here.

Good only for academics but campus life is not good.

Placements: 90% of students are placed out of students who were eligible for placement. Microsoft, Google, and other top companies come for the placement. The average package is 7-8 lakh. The top roles offered are for CSE students. Many companies had also come for internships.

Infrastructure: Campus is under construction . Infrastructure is not at all good. You have to walk for 25 minutes from hostel to academic block. The hostels are newly constructed, so hostels are good but highly overpriced. There are only 2 canteens for boys hostel. You cannot purchase anything because it has a very small window and is so crowded.

Faculty: All faculties have doctorates (phD). They are highly knowledgeable and very kind and helpful. You can ask your doubts to your respective teachers. Course curriculum is very well planned. Exams are difficult, and are held every 2.5 months, which is mid-semester and semester-end.

Other: I chose this course because I am passionate about developing and coding. Campus life is not good here. The college is very far from the main city. The campus is under construction. They do not provide any scholarships.

Good college only for studies but not for a college life people expect .

Placements: So our college placement training starts from 3.5 years, and the college takes different subjects as practice, which are important for the interview. Placements come from different companies so companies tell their minimum CGPA requirement and based on that, different students sit for placements; the higher the CGPA, the higher the chances to get placed.

Infrastructure: So we have different hostel blocks based on the population; we have 2 girls hostels and 7 boys hostels. There are different room facilities: some bunk beds and some flat beds. The infrastructure is basic, close and every building is like the rest, except for a few. We have a small gaming room in 2 blocks where we have table tennis and carrom .

Faculty: We have a unique feature where we select our own faculty members, and based on different teachers, there are different teaching methods. We have two exams, midterms and endterms, of 50 and 100 marks, respectively and apart from this, we have 30 marks for internals and 5 marks for attendance. The notes are what the teacher teaches us and books are told for reference and practice .

Other: The college is strict and has strict rules; the college is study-oriented and just focuses on knowledge but less of co-curricular activities.

Placements: VIT Bhopal University is known for its great placements, just like other VIT campuses. Many companies like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, etc., come to the campus to recruit students. The campus has a dedicated placement cell that works day and night for the students. The highest package is 54 LPA. The lowest package is 4 LPA. The average package is 8–9 LPA.

Infrastructure: VIT Bhopal University provides high-speed Wi-Fi throughout their campus. You generally get around 15-20 Mbps. There are different kinds of classrooms across the campus and they are quite spacious, accommodation around 60–70 students at once. VIT Bhopal also includes sports facilities like table tennis, basketball, football, etc. The hostels are well designed and maintained, that provides comfort in the living conditions. The campus also has medical facilities and a doctor who is available during specific times. The quality of the quality of the mess can vary over time, but usually they provide an okay quality of food. You have a canteen from which you can purchase items.

Faculty: Every teacher on campus has a Ph.D. in their respective fields. The faculty and professors are very helpful and you can visit them at any time in their cabins to ask for help. The teaching quality varies from teacher to teacher, with some teachers being very indulging while others not giving a care. The course curriculum can be improved significantly, as it is more theoretical-based learning than practical-based learning. Some curriculum changes are definitely needed to improve the quality of education that students receive.

Other: B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering is one of the finest courses in today's time. Our campus also hosts a techno-cultural fest by the name of Advitya every year in February–March. There are also a lot of technical and non-technical clubs for you to join. The campus crowd varies, with people coming to the university from all over India.
