Poor teaching quality, average placement, good infrastructure, good library, and average facility.

Placements: The placement in Terna Engineering College is average. Two years ago, the placement was good, around 60-70 percent of the students got placed, but in recent years, there is a drop of around 30 percent, but with the change in training and placement officer, you can expect it to improve.

It is an awesome college which makes us feel like heaven.

Placements: The placements are quite good, and most of the students who fall in the eligibility criteria can easily crack the interview and get placed. It is heaven for IT and computer branch to get placed in a company like TCS, Infosys, Wipro. There are good placements. More than half of people get easily placed.

Terna Engineering College Review by The Magazine Secretary Of Terna Students Council 2017-18.

Placements: Terna Engineering College is a place where you get to learn a lot of things. The placements are good and above average. You'll be easily placed from the in campus placement drives if you are excellent with academics and extracurricular activities. There is a great scope for the talented students from the college placement cells. Maximum of the placements are offered by TCS, L&T, Capgemini & similar software-based companies. There is an average scope for the core stream placements for the other b...

The college is good for the students looking for good college life and decent future.

Placements: Most of the students get placed if eligible. The students from the other branches get placed in IT. There is a lack of placement opportunity in the other branches. TCS is the mass-recruiter on the campus. If you are eligible for the campus placement then most probably you'll get placed.

You can have a more than average college life in Terna.

Placements: There are decent placements in this college. Reputed companies do come and hire few students. Just the mechanical and mechatronics branch do not have many placements as those branches have started since 2015 in this college. The students do get a package 3-5 lacs per annum.

The college is a balance between the academics and the extracurricular activities.

Placements: There haven't been any companies for the mechanical engineering department yet, but the students have been placed in the companies such as L&T, Ericsson, gate, etc. The highest package offered to a computer engineering student, i.e., 7 LPA. The average package for a student is 3.7 LPA.

Faculty are well-qualified, good placements in 2016, good facilities and infrastructure.

Placements: In our college, many companies visited for placements like Wipro, Dell, IBM and Google. Almost 80% were placed in my batch. The average salary offered by companies is around 4.5 lacs PA. Companies offered roles like junior developer, senior developer, software engineer, data developer, tester, etc. 100% students got the internship from the college.

Average college. Think twice before taking admission.

Placements: The placements in this college are normal. The average salary package is Rs. 3-5 lacs pa. The students must have an aggregate CGPI of 6.75 to be eligible for campus placement rounds. TCS recruits most of the students. Other companies like L&T, Wipro, and other MNCs also recruit the students.

Heaven for IT and Comps engineers. Hardware engineers have it hard.

Placements: In my college, there is a good placement for software engineering students (IT and Comps). For EXTC and ELEX, there are not many core placements. The students get extra courses over here for placement. The TPO has a good interaction with the students and the industry as well.

Placements: Placement was very, very good in college. Almost 80% of the students got a placement in 2015 batch. The average salary was about Rs. 4.00 lacs per annum. Many of the topmost multinational companies visited my college for placement like Tata Consultancy Services, Microsoft, Reliance Jio and many more. Many of the students got placement for the post of software development and software testing.

Nice and decent college to go for.

Placements: Placements are quite good and most of the students who fall in the eligibility criteria can easily crack the interview and get placed. Major employers are TCS, L&T Infotech and provide an average salary of 3 lakhs per annum. Basically, the skill set of an individual is very important for cracking any kind of interview, so focus on your skills apart from academics.

Very good college, really good infrastructure and fresh environment.

Placements: Placements in the college are very good. Obviously, it depends on the student's academic performance but the college helps the students to develop an interest in extra curricular activities so that it helps them later. The average salary is 4 lakh pa. Minimum is 3.5 lakh pa. Highest was 6 lakh pa. Many companies including MNCs come to hire students. Companies like TCS hire in bulk.

Placements: The college is having very good placements. Every year, almost an average of 150 students get placed. Even I got placed in a good MNC with very good guidance from TPO and college faculties. The average offered salary is about 3.5 LPA. The highest offered salary is 5.45 LPA. Overall, very good about placements.

Good infrastructure with average placement. Satisfied with the facilities provided.

Placements: The placements in my college are average. TCS is a mass recruiter and almost 50% of the students are hired by TCS. The training and placement officer(TPO) in our college is really active. He tries hard to get the best companies for recruitment. The average salary offered by the companies is 3 LPA. There are not many internship offers.

Placements: Overall placements of 2017 batch were poor. Only 40% of the students were placed. But in earlier batches, the placement was average. 60% of the students used to be placed. Placement officers make sure that you get placed. He helps students for 2 more years to get placed. The highest package is 5.8 LPA and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Seclore is the highest paying company which visits Terna. The average salary offered is 3.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, LnT, Capgemini, Teradata, Seclore, CSC, Sutherland...

Placements: The placement conducted in the college were average. But anyway most of them got placed. All the top companies visited the college for an on-campus drive and few companies conducted the pool campus drive. The average salary offered to the students was around 3 LPA as far as I know. The senior batch had better placement as compared to my batch.

The best part about this college is the campus commune section! Over more than 30 companies have already arrived and almost every single student who is eligible is being placed. Proud to get placed from this college. The teaching staff is also co-operative. The crowd is overall good. But wherever official work is involved, college doesn't co-ordinate well. The official staff is sometimes very rude and that irritates me .

I am Information Technology Student. College is campus is huge and they recently built a beautiful auditorium. This is one of the few college having Apple lab. Good Play Ground. IT Faculty is very lenient except Professor HK Chavan. Another department faculty is very good like Electronics. I spent wonderful days of my life in this college. I have also got placement in TCS from this college. Want to enjoy and get a job easily go for it.

One of the finest institute in Mumbai University, very near to Nerul station, ideal for any student willing to pursue Engineering either under graduation or post-graduation both are excellent. Nicely built infra, fun events (Avalon & Resonance), performance opportunities for coordinators, unlimited books in library, hostel is good too and I got lot many knowledgeable faculty members. You have the mix up of institutes here.
