Absolutely good for science.
Placements: I had zoology in the last year of my course B.Sc. (CBZ). Overall, all things provided are good like study materials, notes, practicals, guidance, etc. Notifications and vacancies regarding our careers are shared in the Whatsapp group of our college. Roles offered in the college are like working on boasts and anything related to the fishery. Checking the quality of fish and also jobs in the forest department as an officer to look after animals if they are facing any kind of difficulties.
Infrastructure: Thakur College is the best I have ever been talking about. From space accommodation, washrooms, library, garden, classroom, and everything is just very clean and good proper ventilation. The canteen is also good. The quantity and quality of food is good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. If you need anything even after college hours, they are always there for you. The curriculum is relevant because they also conduct camps and workshops for better understanding. Our semester exams are average. The pass percentage generally has a CGPA system. I got an 8.7 CGPA out of 10 which is good.
Other: I chose this course because I like to study nature and animal life. I wish there would be more physical engagement regarding our course. Talking about events and fests, Thakur college is one stop destination for such things.

Thankyou Thakur College of Science and Commerce.
Placements: Around 80% of students in my Zoology batch are placed. There was no average salary package offered. I am not aware of the companies that were recruiting. I am also unaware of the internship opportunities, but they are offered between courses. Specifically, I am not aware of the roles offered.
Infrastructure: We had good labs in the college, individually for Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany, with good conditions and design. I have not stayed in the hostel, but I have heard a lot of feedback from my friends who stay there. The food is good, and hygiene is maintained.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good, but some of the teachers in Zoology are not up to the mark. Course content was relevant. It is difficult to pass semesters in this college as it is very strict, but it is good that students can prepare their own and work hard. I passed the Zoology course with 89% in 2024.
Other: I was interested in the science field, so I selected B.Sc. Zoology. I was in the 2021 batch, and the course I was pursuing was amazing, focusing on humans and animals. Improvements needed include adding more extracurricular activities and industrial visits, along with interactive lectures and practical sessions. One of my favorite fests is Tarangan, which is held every year in December. The crowd and fun are amazing, making those the best three days of the year. Regarding extracurricular activities, there are industrial visits and yearly camping trips.

If you just want to pursue degree then it's good but don't have any expectations for placement.
Placements: There where about 100 students in B.Sc. Chemistry BOTANY AND ZOOLOGY THERE WERE NO PLACEMENT AT ALL NO COMPANIES VISITED NOR THERE WAS ANY KIND OF JOB FAIR AND ALL. But there are plenty of competition where you can learn new skills and also by the third year you may have chance to organize your own competition that to intra college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was quite good although proper medical facilities sports, equipments, boxing bring and many more. If we talk about cafeteria it has average dinning with good taste. And computer lab are very well-equipped with AC facilities.
Faculty: All the Teachers and qualified and are too Friendly you can visit any time and clear your doubts Also the subject teached over here are in details but to be honest with it doesn't make you industry ready because all about industry requires practical skills amd knowledge.
Other: As I wanted to enter the field of chemical so I preferred B.Sc. In Chemistry over other subject. May be they can improve teaching skills by use of digital equipments like projector based learning.

Good infrastructure and facilities. Satisfied with the fees .
Placements: No good companies hired students with a B.Sc. degree. Placements were good enough for commerce students but not for science students. A sales job is offered to students pursuing a B.Sc. None of the students from our batch got an internship. Students are pursuing Masters at other colleges in India and outside India.
Infrastructure: Amazing lab culture, amazing classrooms and libraries are there. The canteen is quite good, and the food is of satisfactory quality at affordable prices. Sports and the gym are also good. Quadrangle has a good WIFI range, but the classrooms don't even have mobile networks. Ventilation is good in classrooms.
Faculty: Teachers were very coordinated and helpful. The course curriculum is revised but not completely. I.e., there must be some changes by increasing the content. Exams are not very difficult and are moderately tough. The non-teaching staff is also quite helpful and coordinated.
