Review of Thangal Kunju Musaliar Institute of Technology.

Placements: College placements are very poor in terms of average packages and the companies that come to hire civil engineering students. High packages can be attained only with extra skills and other networks. Average package is usually 4-5 LPA. The highest package was 8 LPA.

Not satisfied with the campus placements.

Placements: College placements are not that great. We should apply to high-paying jobs off-campus to get good packages. The average package offered at the college was around 6 LPA. The highest package was 14 LPA. The students who sat for placements were placed.

Well-facilitated college.

Placements: We receive average placement packages at the college. These packages are not very good. Mass recruiters come to the college for recruitment, reducing the average number of students. The average package offered is about 5–6 LPA, and the highest is 12 LPA. We have to update our skills as per our needs.

College is good and worth it.

Placements: Placements offered within the college by different companies are average. But they are not worth it after studying for 4 years. The highest package offered last year was 13 LPA, and the average package was 6 LPA. Almost all students, except some, were placed from the college.

Satisfied with the quality of the college.

Placements: College placements are not that great. They are similar to other colleges in Kerala. The average CTC offered in our course is around 6-7 LPA. The course is more based on theory rather than practical industry-based learning. Almost all the students were placed.

College campus is not very vast and campus life is averag,. Facilities are good.

Placements: Product manager and related course sector skills. Internships at our college are okay, mostly offered to final years. Tata Elxsi is one among the top recruiters, along with other top companies from non-core and software sectors. The highest package offered is 34 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA.

Placements: Placements offered in the college by the companies for Civil Engineering students are very poor and not worth it. The average package is about 3-4 LPA. It is better to find jobs outside or start our own work. Only 50-60% of the students were placed last year.

Placements: College placements are very poor and not at all worth it. Average packages are 4 LPA and 5 LPA. Four years of studying engineering is NIT worth taking a 5 LPA job. All the students who are attending placement interviews are being placed by mass recruitment.

Dissatisfied because of the overall college life. Good faculty for the most part.

Placements: The college has a high percentage of students getting placed, around 80% of the students who don't have a backpaper will get placements. But, the companies which students are getting placed in don't have the greatest reputation. For example, this year most of the passouts got placed in a company called Sutherland which does not have the greatest reputation in terms of work environment and salary scheme. But still getting placed is easy as long as you don't get backpapers. The roles vary from com...

Satisfied overall, very bad washrooms facilities.

Placements: A good number of students of TKM Institute of Technology were placed in the current batch that's going to pass out this semester. Sutherland, Infosys, UST Global, etc., are the recruiting companies that offered campus placements to TKM Institute of Technology.
