Reviewing my own home.

Placements: In our college, students get packages like 45k INR a month in average. They also can avail internships in various companies like ThoughtWorks, wipro, blue star, etc. In our department of computer science and technology, approximately 60% students get placements. Highest package offered is 8 lpa and the lowest is 3.8 lpa.

Infrastructure: The course curriculum is well structured which actually makes students industry ready. The faculty members are very helpful so that students can get well known positions in their fields. In our college there is good wi-fi connectivity and also good network connectivity. Our college is also situated in a populated place so that students can reach out in all mode of transportation. Our college also has a common library and canteen. In the canteen, students can get variety of food options. There's also a ground in the centre of our college premises. Students can play outdoor games too if they want to.

Faculty: The semester exams are not very difficult to pass. Approximately 85% students qualify their semesters exams without any trouble or difficulties. The teachers are very helpful and co operative. They also take class tests so that they can examine the progress of each student. They clear every topic related to our syllabus and course.

Where dreams fight at CTS.

Placements: About 80% of students get placements in companies like Siemens, Larsen & turbo, Thermax, TK Elevator and so on. They get placements in terms of packages like 6 LPA and more. A student got the highest package this year in L&T as a maintenance engineer at a package of 6.4 LPA. My seniors also got package of 3.8 lpa in royal research. They play the job role of an automation engineer, an assistant powertrain engineer, as a backed instructor, etc. Students also get internships in these companies on their own. They also earn stipend from these internships. This is the data of our elder batch of 2023.

Infrastructure: Our college, the Calcutta technical school, has its own Wi-Fi connectivity all over the campus. In our branch, we have 1 separate classroom and 1 computer lab with 2 workshop rooms. Our college also has common canteen, library, and a ground. In our canteen, students can avail food at reasonable prices. In the college ground, students also play games like football, cricket, volleyball, etc. There is also a common room where students can play cars & carom if they want to. The network connectivity of all is good. The transportation and the hostel accommodation are very precise and well structured. There is no interference of seniors in our college ground. We're very free as students in our college premises.

Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful and cooperative in manner of teaching, doubt solving and all. They prepare us thoroughly. They also prepare us to deal with our future work presentations and industrial problems. The course curriculum is well structured and it makes students industry ready. The semester exams are not very difficult, but it varies from student to student. The faculty members also take class tests so that they can examine the progress of each student.

Reviewing my own college, the 'red house'.

Placements: Students get placements with package around 3.4lpa. Approximately 40% students get placed from our department. Students get placements in companies like larsen & turbo, thought works, hcl tech, etc. They get roles like junior executive, assistant mechanical engineer, site visitor, etc. Students can also apply for internships for their own.

Infrastructure: The college has their own Wi-Fi for official use but students can use it in their labs and library. Our college has one common library and a canteen for both faculty members and students. In our department we have one lab class and we also have 3 workshop rooms to perform. There is one common room for students where they can enjoy their free time and play indoor games. The food from the college canteen is very good according to their prices.

Faculty: The teachers are very cooperative and helpful. They clear every topic and they also take class tests to examine the progress of each student. The course curriculum is very relevant which makes us industry ready. Semester exams are not very difficult to pass but students have to try more to do better in the semester exams.

Other: I wish to become a mechanical engineer so I chose this course.

Placements: Almost 40% of students got placed in L&T, Kirloskar, General Motors, etc. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.2 LPA. Some students got internships by themselves.

Infrastructure: Our college provides average facilities. Wi-Fi facility is not available in our college. Our college has some labs. We have a classroom, 3 workshops, a library, etc. The food served in the canteen is good and affordable.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and cooperative. They teach us in a friendly manner. They clear every topic in our syllabus. Teachers do their best to prepare a student for their upcoming journey in their jobs or higher studies. The final semester exams are not very difficult to pass but students have to do better to gather more job opportunities.

Other: Many events and fests are held in our college.

Our campus life is excellent.

Placements: There are total 4 departments in this college which are mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, computer science and technology. There are 60 seats in each department. Placements of mechanical engineering department and electrical engineering department are very good. Few students also opt for higher studies. Overall, placements are average because in the department of civil engineering and computer science and technology placements are not good. But this year many students are placed in the CST department. The highest salary package offered was 2.8 LPA. The average salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are L&T, Mahindra, ITC, Infosys, Capgemini, Shapoorji and Paloonji, John Deer, Anand Group, Cummins, etc. Internships are not offered in our college. We can also complete some training in SBSTC and Railway. Certificates of this training will help us at the time of placements. Some of the top roles offered are operating engineer, service engineer, production engineer, and junior engineer.

Infrastructure: The college is situated on S. N. Banerjee road which is 5 minutes walking distance from Esplanade but our campus is very small. The infrastructure is average. There is Wi-Fi but it is not good. Our classrooms are good, and laboratory is average. There is a library and we can study there peacefully. There is no hostel in our college, but we can get mess nearby our campus. There is a canteen on our campus. Playground is not available. Sports like table tennis, carrom, and chess are available. Every year sports secretary organises annual sports for 4 days, and tournaments like football, cricket, and indoor games like carrom, table tennis, and badminton are conducted.

Faculty: This is a government college so faculty members are well-qualified. They have done their M.Tech from IITs. Our course curriculum is good, and it makes students ready for the industry. Our teachers are also very helpful. There are 6 semesters in 3 years. Semester exams are not very tough, and we can pass easily because the passing percentage is 40%.

Other: Cultural and student welfare committee of this college organise many events every year. Annual sports, Biswakarma Puja, Saraswati Puja, Teachers Day, tech fest, and many more events are conducted. The annual cultural program which is called Ignition is also organised in our college.
