College life will be good, but placements are poor.

Placements: There are 1 or 2 companies which are visiting here for placements for our civil department. Those companies that are coming are mainly IT and CS-related companies. Top companies offered for our department are core companies like Bharathi Cement and some medium-scaled industries.

Our college is the best in extracurricular activities.

Placements: For this course, there is no placement for all the students. One or two core companies came to college in this academic year. But the placement for other departments related to coding and software are relatively good. If you want this department you should try hard to get placed.

The theory curriculum is good and relevant but it doesn't make the students industry ready.

Placements: 1.30% of students were placed in my course so far. 2. 10LPA, 2.5LPA and 6.5LPA was the highest, the lowest and average package offered respectively in my course. 3. L&T, CTS, Infosys, TCS, IBM etc. are the top recruiters. 4. 5% got internship at L&T, 3% got internship at Saint Gobin, 7% got internship at CTS and Infosys and some 10% got internship at local construction companies. 6. Associate Engineer at L&T, Quality control engineer, Estimation Engineer, Data analyst etc. are the roles of...

Placements are good for our batch and a lot of exposures.

Placements: Around 10 to 12 students got placed in core mechanical companies. The highest salary package offered was 6.5 LPA by Saint Gobain, the average salary package offered was 3.6 LPA by TCS, Infosys and CTS and the lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA by Chain-Sys. Around 40 students got placed in IT companies, and around 4 to 5 students got an internship in Saint Gobain.

Absolutely the best college in Madurai.

Placements: I'm not sure about the packages offered but most of the students have got internship from this course. I came to know that mechatronics engineers can be placed respectively to their skill, and companies like yaskawa are recruiting mechatronics engineers.

A good system is maintained in Thiagarajar College of Engineering.

Placements: Placements are the main part of our college. Every year, a minimum of 70-80% of the students get placed from our college. They are offered roles of a software designer, developer, tester etc. The salary package offered to them ranged between 2-6 LPA. Other students were also referred through internships for placements. It's very useful.

It is a perfect place to gain knowledge.

Placements: Placements of the college were a bit low when compared to last year. Over 50-60 % of the students were placed. Companies like Honeywell, Amazon, TCS, and Zoho, etc., visited the campus for placements. Many of the students were not placed due to their coding skills and communication skills. Over 60-70% of students got internships.

Overall, studying in tce is a blessed one.

Placements: The placements are so far good, but the major drawback is the companies that are visiting TCE is full of IT. It will be very useful for computer Science and IT students, though other departments are also being placed in this field. But those who are imaging and having fond of doing their job in their core is not happening. For eg. Civil Engineering. In this department major students are placing in IT based companies, even though if core companies visit our campus only few students are being plac...

Satisfied with the faculty's teaching methodology, Infrastructure is good.

Placements: The overall placement is good, our batch had good placement record than all the other senior batches. About 85% students were placed. Average salary package is 4 Lacs per annum. Companies like TAFE, Hyundai, Fiat, Nissan, Titan & TVS visited our campus.

Placements: Our batch is the first among last 5 batches which showed the highest placement percentage. About 82 percent students placed. 7.5 LPA is the highest package offered. Fiat, Renault, LMW, TVS etc. Core companies visited. About 70 to 80 percentage of students got internship from college. There's is a placement cell in college.

A Good place to learn and to improve our knowledge.

Placements: The placement has been too good in TCE. Top companies visited our campus and hired us. About 70% of students got placed during our batch. Also the companies like TCS, Infosys, Accenture has hired a huge number of our college students. The companies are arrived for the department separately.

Satisfactory review of my college.

Placements: The placements are good for CSE, ECE, EEE, IT and Mechanical departments, except civil. That too for the batch alone. But from now the current civil engineering batch students are having core placements. So, I would say to have civil engineering as last preference if you are concerned about the placements. Otherwise, if you want to pursue higher studies, I prefer TCE. The branch of civil engineering is the best option in TCE. Now I am doing my PG in IIT Madras.

Placements: It's a great place to get explored for many companies, which also gives opportunities for many students to enhance their skills. Very good and excellent ongoing classes for the third year students to explore about the companies coming for the campus here.

An excellent place to live and learn things in life.

Placements: The placements were pretty good and can expect some core companies and many IT companies. Sharing kind of placements happened, and the still rack test will be conducted by our college people which was very useful for handling aptitude tests. But, in core companies point of view, it needs to improve.

Really good in faculty, placements, and much more.

Placements: The placements in TCE are pretty good. Almost 80-90% of students get placed every year. Moreover, certain internships are being provided by some reputed companies. The average annual salary package is around 4-6 lacs per annum with the highest being 24 lakhs (in the academic year 2016-2017). As the college has acquired the 37th spot in NIRF ranking, more companies are expected to arrive. The companies like TCS, Wipro, Amazon, TVS, Nissan, Renault approached TCE for campus placements, and certain...

TCE is the pride of Thiruparankundram, as the land belonged to farmers and sacrificed for education.

Placements: 100% placements for our previous batch, but 80% in software companies like Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, and Wipro. It was the same scenario for our batch, the college was effective in their outcomes, but we weren't. We were all forced to sit in the placements for the software companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Infosys, and Cognizant. I got selected in Cognizant, but I didn't attend the training in the year 2016 due to my specialisation in civil engineering. Also, I was preparing for CAT exam thro...

Good placements in 2017, good hostel infrastructure, canteen and facilities. Not so good faculty

Placements: The placements for our senior batch are pretty good. As mechatronics is a new course in Tamil Nadu as well as India, not many colleges are offering this course. Only a few colleges offer this course, so the placements are nearly equal to other departments like mechanical and electrical engineering. The percent of students placed is nearly 35 to 40 percent. I say that this is a very good percent because the others have not been selected due to their mistakes like arrear history. Nowadays, there a...

Placements: 75% of the people got placed in our batch. The highest package came from Ford. Other notable companies were Hyundai, TAFE, Mu Sigma and Titan. The average package of these companies was 3.5 - 4 LPA. Many students got placed in TCS, Infosys and IBM as well. Out of all these companies, only TAFE offered paid internship for four months.

Very good platform for students to showcase their talents but the facilities are not enough.

Placements: The placements are good in here as most of the people from our college got placed. Reputed companies like Microsoft are hiring from our college and the coaching for the placement is very good. Staff and seniors are putting their effort on getting us placed. They actually do a very good job.
