B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2018

The college is average as it needs lots of improvement.
Placements: Only 15% of the students get placed from our batch. The highest salary package offer ranges from 3.5-4 LPA. The lowest salary offered was 1.2 LPA. The average salary offered was a bit more than the lowest. For our branch (ME) companies like Cogeme Pvt Ltd offer placements. For CS-EC branch, companies like TCS visited whereas some companies like Byju's visited here just to take engineers for non-tech work although they offered the highest salary package in college. As I am from the mechanical branch, I don't have much idea about the internship.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are big enough for almost 50-60 students, but the design of the college building is very unusual. There is a small library. There is also a huge library. Labs are equipped with minimum apparatus/machines. The canteen is good. There is a playground, mainly cricket and kabaddi are famous on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers here were fine. Some were knowledgeable, and some were there to do fun. Some only make students for college admissions, so basically it was a mixture. The course curriculum prescribed by RGPV, and it can't make any student ready for industry. RGPV only makes machines. Machines with high quality can store data fast and for a long time whereas machines with low quality have low processing time.
Other: Machines were my passion from the starting, so I have chosen mechanical engineering. The entire way of teaching and student evaluation should be changed.

The review of Truba College of Science and Technology.
Placements: A lot of placement opportunities are provided in technical and non-technical companies. They offer more placement opportunities in non-technical companies when compared with technical firms. It is mandatory for all the students to pay a fee of Rs. 6,000 for training and placements. The placement training will get started from the 3-year of our course, and the placement season comes during the final year of our course, and almost all the students will be well prepared by the time the companies visit the campus. However, the college only guides you, and you have to work on your own to get placed.
Infrastructure: The college has very clean and well-maintained labs, which is the main reason why I chose this college. The college provides us with the Wi-Fi facility, and the Wi-Fi is accessible only through the computers in our labs. A canteen, attractive library, and a playground are available here. The college also has a separate room for table tennis.
Faculty: Our teachers are always ready to help even if you ask them about any topic beyond our syllabus. The college also provides the projector facility, and classes are taught through projectors if our teachers want to. We visit industries located nearby every semester. They also discuss with students to know where they want to go for industry visits. However, if we want to visit an industry located in distant places, we need to pay some fee.
Other: Our college organises a fest regularly.
