Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Q:   What is the expected JEE Main cutoff 2024?

A:

NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the BTech courses. * Infrastructure is outdated, with old buildings and limited amenities
* Limited placements for core branches, except for CSE and ECE
* Practical exposure is lacking, with focus more on theoretical knowledge
* Faculty members may not be very supportive or motivating
* Limited extracurricular activities and sports facilities

Campus Life:

* Hostel facilities are basic, with limited amenities and old infrastructure
* Food options are limited, with students preferring to cook their own meals
* Cultural events and festivals are occasional, with a focus on individual departments
* Social life is relatively quiet, with limited interaction between batches

Career Prospects:

* Average salaries range from INR3-6 Lacs per annum
* Top companies visiting the campus include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and others

Very famous college of Madhya Pradesh for engineering is Ujjain engineering college.
Placements: Placements are not good of our college The highest package of our course offers is about 12 LPA, the lowest is near 1.5 LPA, and the average package is 4-5 LPA. Some company names are Bearlocher, Sun Pharma, Tata Chemical, and Aditya Birla. Approximately 50-60% students are placed .
Infrastructure: There are so many facilities for us, like labs run by IIT Indore and a very big library that has Wi-Fi facilities and all types of books in it. Hostels are good for girls only; the hostel of our college is very bad; there are no such facilities there and very few seats available.
Faculty: Our faculty are very good, and their teaching method is excellent; all are Ph.D.s and have a lot of experience in their careers. Semester exams are difficult at our college, especially math, which is very tough; only 30% of students are able to pass in the first time.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in the chemical industry. Events and fests are very much held in our college.

Best government college with less fee structure and a well experienced faculty.
Placements: Approximately 50-60% students get their campus placements. The highest package offered is 7-8 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA with an average package of 4 LPA. Top companies for IT and core branches come to take written tests and interviews of the students. For placements, our college has made an organization which is known as TPO, it helps the students to get placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: Our college building is too old and not so good, but it has a separate department for each branch along with their own laboratories. There is a central library here which is very widespread having almost all the types of books available. There are two auditoriums here. Every department has enough classrooms and water-coolers available.
Faculty: Since it is autonomous college, the faculty members is well educated and experienced. They give more practical knowledge rather than theoretical. The exams in our college are the toughest ones and it is very difficult to pass with good marks. But the guidance of the faculty members is the best.
Other: In our college, extra activities are also done. Every branch has its own events and fest which are held in every semester. The sports activities are also good.

Best college with low fees.
Placements: The students are getting admitted through a valid JEE Main scorecard. And the average package of the chemical engineering branch is 4 LPA. JK Cement, Wonder Cement, and Evonik are the major recruiters of the chemical engineering branch for the role of Graduate Engineering Trainee.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and the departments are fully equipped with Wi-Fi facilities. And there is a central library where students can study and can issue books for their studies. Sports activities are also organized regularly, and the teams who perform well are selected for the higher level of the respective sports and awarded medals and trophies to the winners and also Certificates of Participation to everyone who plays.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful in nature and highly qualified in their respective fields, and their knowledge is very high in the engineering background. The semester exams are very tough; students have to study very hard to pass the examination. On average, 70% of students pass every annual session.
Other: I chose this course because I have a very keen interest in physics and process handling, and chemical engineering gives me that opportunity to work on my knowledge of interest. There are many fests and cultural events organized by the different societies of the college, like Diffusion is of the chemical engineering branch. MTM, Mech Tech Meet, is the fest of mechanical engineering. Echo is for electronics and communication, Xpections of CSE, Vidyut of electrical engineering, and Nirman of the civil engineering society.

Overall infrastructure of the college is worse; proficient teachers and placements are zero to none.
Placements: When I was doing my B.Tech., the placements were very few; only 2 companies hired students from the chemical department, whereas for the computer science department there were 3 to 4 companies, so I would say the placement in this college is overall average. Only BORL hired students.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well-equipped with Smart Class projectors, but hardly anyone uses them. The library of the institution is very small, and often one comes across a shortage of books, whereas there is no such medical facility available for the students living in hostels.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum offered is not at all relevant towards making students industry-ready. The use of software related to designing and modelling was not introduced in the course curriculum.

College is good. College campus occupied 300 acre land.
Placements: Around 50-60 percent student get placement. The highest package is around 8 to 9 lpa. The average package is 5 to 6 lpa. Top recruiters are TCS, WIPRO, ALTRATECH etc. Almost all students get internship in my course. They get internship in many private giants and PSu also.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good and all facilities are available in college like labs, sports ground. Wi-Fi is available in our college. Classrooms are good. Library is also available. There are two boys and two girls hostels are available in our college. Hostels are good. Medical clinics are available in college campus.
Faculty: Our teachers are very good they always ready to help the students. They're well qualified. All faculty are Ph.D. holder in IIT'S. They are very good teacher. Course is related to industry. Level of semester exams are very good. The passing percentage is around 60 percent. But this varies semester wise.

No, Ujjain engineering college is not that good for doing BE in chemical engineering. If you want to do Chemical engineering, do it from some other college, the placement here is also not good.
