It is a great place to explore yourself and get a degree.

Placements: Only 2 students got placed in Microsoft, with above 1 crore package. Placements are good for top branches like CSE and IT, and they are better for ECE and mechanical, and the other branches have low placements. Students have enough time to prepare for other exams like IES and GATE.

Placements: Companies like Amazon offers the highest salary packages, and students also get off-campus placements in Microsoft and Google. All the willing students from CS and IT get at least one offer, and students from different branches also get offers in CS and IT sectors.

Overall the college is good as there are very helpful teachers.

Placements: The placements in this college are quite average. If you go for CS/IT then placements are good but for other branches it is average. For internship, you have to go outside the college. Many students are doing internship off campus. Here students got placed in Google, Microsoft, Amazon every year. Amazon, Samsung came here for on campus placement. Average package offered is 5-6 LPA. Placements for biotech students is not good here. Only 3-4 students got placed each year.

Review of University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Panjab University.

Placements: Placements are not good, just like any other private college. Only one or two students will get good placements. But the good thing about this college is that there are only 250 students in CSE and IT branches. To get placed, you need to be among the top 5 students, and it is easier, unlike the other private colleges. All the remaining students will either get into service-based companies or startups with packages between 5-8 LPA, and the average package is 5-6 LPA.

Review of University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Panjab University.

Placements: In UIET Chandigarh, the highest placement rate has been seen in CS/IT branch in 2021 batch with almost above 85% of the students getting placed in various types of companies which mostly include product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, American Express, Samsung, Optum, ZS Scale, ZS Associates, ProcDNA, Deloitte, Jungleworks, Click Labs, etc. Apart from this, a few students also got off-campus offers in Google, Cisco, D.E. Shaw and Microsoft type of companies. But their hard work helps...

I am satisfied with college, hostel life and fees but dissatisfied with placements.

Placements: In the last year, about 40%-50% of the students from the entire batch got placed. In which IT and CSE students grabbed the most offers. As per branch wise, then IT and CSE students get most of the offers. Nearly 80% of strength from IT and CSE get placed. ECE students also get few roles, mostly consulting roles.

The infrastructure is outdated, but the faculty are very good for core subjects.

Placements: Placement mainly depends on the capabilities of students. The institute does provide some help through the placement cell. International companies like Google and Microsoft also recruit students from time to time. The high-tier students can get a package of 20-30 LPA. The average package offered is 5-6 LPA.

Overall, it is a great experience studying here.

Placements: The highest salary package offered is around 30 LPA, and good companies visit here for placements. Almost 70-80% of the students got placed, and the average salary package offered is around 7 to 8 LPA. Many students get internships, and out of them, a few students even get pre-placement offers.

It gives a good campus life. It has decent placements for CSE and IT courses.

Placements: Placements are very good for computer science (CSE) and information technology (IT) branches. Almost 80-90% of the students from these two branches get placed every year. It is a little more difficult for the students of other branches like ECE and EEE, to get placed because they need to have equal skills like CSE and IT students along with their core branch skills. In 2020, many companies such as AmEx, Deloitte, ZS, Capgemini, KPMG, Code Brew, Infosys, Jugnoo, Airtel, Samsung and also Amazon vi...

I am absolutely dissatisfied with placements, faculty members and the study materials.

Placements: Only IT companies visit our college for placements, and core companies of electronics don't visit here. Our college doesn't provide many internships offers in this field. Students of ECE branch weren't offered many internships in our core branch. We also have to apply for internships in IT companies.

Our college has nice placements, culture and seniors.

Placements: Every branch has around 100 to 120 students. I think the highest salary package offered by Amazon in the previous year is around 31 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 6 LPA. Placements have risen since the last few years, and our college has a training and placement cell which is excellently doing its job by bringing top tier companies in our college.

Overall, the institute is good.

Placements: Placements are good. Most of the students get placed, but I can't say that the placements are excellent. Most of the companies offer the average package of nearly 4 to 5 Lacs per annum. Overall, the placement opportunities are great if one really works hard for it.

Placements in 2020 were good.

Placements: In the IT branch, there are 100% placements. The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA and the average salary package offered is 8 LPA. Last year there were several top companies for placements. Many projects are done by students that were given in summer holidays that help them to get a job.

A good college for doing engineering.

Placements: Placements are decent, one can easily grab a CTC up to 6-8 LPA but above that, it is very difficult through on campus placement drive. The college provides you a good atmosphere to study from various coaching centres and become capable of grabbing highly paid jobs off-campus. The average package is around 5 LPA and the highest package is 14 LPA .

Placements: Students with CGPA above 8.5 get placed. About 30 students got placed in campus placements, including companies like Amazon. Many students got off-campus placements in Microsoft, etc. Many students got good internships in big companies before their placements.

Placements: Almost every student got placed from our department. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, etc., visit here for placements, and in the previous placement session, Amazon visited here. Many students got internships on their own. Students get jobs like data scientist, etc., and they get selected in the mass recruitment process.

It is a good college with decent placements and good campus life.

Placements: Placements are above average, but specifically for CSE, IT and ECE branches, placements are good. But other branches like mechanical, EEE and biotech lack behind. However, if you are good, you will surely get decent placements. Recently Amazon recruited students from our college. The average salary package is in between 6 LPA-7 LPA, and it obviously increases in future.
