Overall, you can enjoy the college experience if you have a good peer group.
Placements: College is decent for placements and provides opportunities to sit for interviews with different companies. The placement packages range from 2.5 Lacs to 6.5 Lacs. If you are dedicated and have the necessary skills, you will secure a placement.
Infrastructure: Hostel and mess facilities for boys, like at AJC, are well-maintained by student representatives. However, the labs and classrooms are not up to the mark. The AC is in good working condition, so you can use your own system comfortably.
Faculty: In terms of faculty, the CSE department is supportive. Teachers like SB Sir, SGP, and DD are especially good mentors regarding their behavior and knowledge. The course curriculum is balanced—not too heavy but not too light.
Other: Some events, such as fests, farewell, and freshers, are organized by students, except for the fest.

College infrastructure is good. In 2022, the highest package is 23 LPA.
Placements: Our seniors got very handsome placements and packages via off campus placements. The highest package was 23 LPA. Around 60-70 percent students got placed this year (2022). Generally, TCS, Wipro, etc. have visited our college. No company visits for internship in this college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is really beautiful, but sadly with least maintenance. Campus and ground are also good. Wi-Fi is present in the labs but we never got the opportunity to use them. Classrooms are good but ACs are not available. Mess food is good but medical and sports facilities are really bad.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are fond of Bangla, rather than our national language. Faculty members are knowledgeable and they are good. The labs are good in our CSE department. The course curriculum is good.

UIT: The experience you should have at least once.
Placements: You see, I am from CSE. So have some CSE depth. Most the placements this year were not so good, but many of our seniors got placed in companies like TCS, Cloud Kaptan, etc. And they will take the entire HR round and you will get the PPO. The average salary was 4 LPA this year, and we hope that after some time the recession will decrease and the placements will increase.
Infrastructure: I would say the campus is small. There are not many things here. But yes, there are many computer labs and the library, and you can borrow any book at any time. The hostel is also good. The thing I love most about the hostel is the friends you will make, and the social atmosphere is good. There is also a canteen but take my word: don't eat there; the quality is not good. Yes, but the senior mess has good food. And one important part is that the first-year boys hostel is far from the campus so you have to take an autorickshaw to the campus.
Faculty: The faculty are good and very supportive; they will never let you down. There teaching method is also very good. I would say the course curriculum is rather outdated. The semester exams do not put much pressure on the students. Just listen to the faculty; all the things are taught in class itself. The passing marks are 40 out of 100 in semester exams.

It is a government college in Burdwan and is a good option for CSE and IT students.
Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed in our course. The average salary package offered ranges between 6 LPA and 7 LPA. Top requiting companies are Byju's, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and some startups like LIDO, and 8-Chili. Around 50% of students got internships in 3rd year or 4th year. Most of them are software development interns. Placement statistics are increasing every year. The highest salary package offered this year on-campus is 27 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostels are decent. There are around two boys' hostels and one girls' hostel. The first-year students are allowed to live in another hostel which is at some distance from the academic building, and second-year students are allowed to live in the hostel which is near the academic building. Girls can live in the same hostel from their first to final year. Wi-Fi is not available in the boys' hostel. The library is good, and you will get a large number of books, and you can study in the library whenever you want. Classrooms are decent and comfortable. Labs have good numbers of computes. For departments other than CSE, there are well-designed labs for students. The food quality is good. Sports facilities are available in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and well-knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. Students have to do self-study to be industry-ready. Semester exams are a little bit difficult to pass in offline mode. The pass percentage is around 90-95%.
Other: It is a West Bengal government college and also an autonomous college. I opted for this course because there is a huge demand for software engineers in today's world, so this college is good enough to be successful in life. If you are not able to get into top colleges, then this college is a good option for you to build your career. The coding club is available in our college to help you to grow. Everything is improving day by day. The campus is spacious and green. Many events and extracurricular activities are held in our college. We can play a tournament of volleyball, football, etc. There are many clubs for every curriculum activity like music, photography, and dancing.

UIT Burdwan: Good or bad review?
Placements: Fifty percent of students were placed last year, with the highest package being 12 LPA, which was off-campus, and the lowest package was 2.8 LPA. The companies that come to our college are mainly from Kolkata. For the civil department, a few companies visit and offer jobs in the range of 4 to 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good enough, but unfortunately, it is not well maintained. Our hostel is average in terms of infrastructure. There is no Wi-Fi in the college, only Ethernet in the computer labs. The college doesn't have a basketball court, which is disappointing for sports enthusiasts.
Faculty: The faculty in the computer science department is good compared to other departments. Since this college is autonomous, students have less pressure regarding academics, but you need to study a little more to achieve good grades. The curriculum follows an old syllabus, so if you are targeting placement, you must dedicate extra time to learning from other sources.
Other: I chose this course as it seemed like a good option compared to other private colleges since it is an autonomous semi-government college. The fest at this college feels more like an annual function of a school.
