Dissatisfied with the labs and faculty members.

Placements: Placements are good in this college. More than 50% of students were placed in this year and students got internships from HAL and other reputed companies. The T&P cell provides placement training for the students. Reputed companies like Infosys, Accenture, Royal Enfield and Cognizant, etc., visited our campus for placements drive.

The best college in Karnataka.

Placements: The college has an excellent placement cell. Most of the students from our batch and our senior batch were placed in one or more companies. Nearly 80% to 90% of the students get placed every year. The salary packages offered range from 3.50 LPA to 16 LPA. Top companies including Dell, Robert Bosch, Adobe Systems, Netcracker Technologies, McKinsey and many more have offered the best packages. Students were offered software developer and research related jobs. Internship opportunities are also goo...

UVCE is a student-driven college, and it's the right choice for a good life.

Our college is the best home of knowledge and opportunities.

Placements: This is one of the best colleges, and it offers the highest number of placement opportunities along with nice packages for every branch when compared with all the colleges in Bangalore. The packages begin from 6 LPA, and the highest package offered is around 14-15 LPA. Many government companies also visit this college and recruit many students. Even the alumni of our college offer many placement opportunities.

Placements in our college are excellent. It has good faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: One of the best things about UVCE, Bangalore is its placements. It has been consistently 100% over the years. I remember my seniors getting placed in major OEMs from different industries. Especially software and IT majors like SAP, Oracle, mechanical and automotive companies like Volvo, GM, and financial institutes and banks visit the college to offer placements every year.

Review of University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering.

Placements: The only thing that attracts many people to this college is the placements. The sad part is that despite being in other domain, we had many opportunities in the IT sector. I was placed in Accenture job before the completion of my course. The number of students got placed was pretty pleasing. The highest salary package offered was 13 LPA, and the average was 4 LPA.

Better not to choose this college.

Placements: Placements are good. But it is decreasing year by year. As compared to senior batches, our batch people got less job opportunity, the company which were offering 200-300 job offers are now offering only 50-60 job offers. Average salary offered is about 3.5-4.5 LPA. The highest package company was of 12-14lpa. Most of the well-known top company come for recruiting.

Our college taught us more of life lessons beyond the course.

Placements: Placements in our college are pretty good. Most of my classmates got placed in one or the other companies. We have three options such as dream IT or core companies, open dream and mass companies. The package offered in the dream companies is less than 5LPA, and the package offered in open companies is more than 5 LPA. Students get placed in dream, open dream and mass companies together. The students who got placed in core companies were not supposed to apply for open dream companies, but they we...

It is the best engineering college for education and placements.

Placements: Placements are best and with company CTC varying from 3.5lpa to 32lpa. Had a better number of offer to number of student ratio in 2016 and decreasing now, but still maintains 86% placements in my branch this year. Lucky to get one of the Navaratna (BEL) for campus placements. Without any support of Dean's, Principal or University our college is still competing good with Private and Autonomous colleges. Students control the placement cell. Around 140 companies visited this year which includes BEL...

UVCE is incredible but not cliched.

Placements: The placement statistics have always been good for UVCE. More than 150 companies visit our college with various job profiles and salaries. Companies like SAP, McKinsey Digital, Microsoft and VMW offer a package of 15 LPA. Every year, 80% of students from ISE, CSE and ECE get placed. 50% of the students from mechanical and EEE also get placed. The average salary for ISE and CSE is about 5.5 LPA according to my calculations.

Our college is good in terms of placements, but bad in terms of infrastructure.

Placements: Our college provides good placements. The placements mainly depend on the branches. CSE students have 100% placements, and mechanical students have the least placements. The companies that visited the campus to offer placements include Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft etc. The least package offered was 3.25 LPA, and the highest package was 9 LPA. Placements: Placements were more satisfactory for our immediate senior batch. In our batch, around 60% of students were placed. Companies from almost all the verticals of the industry visited the campus for placements. There is a placement cell which is active in its operation. A few internships were also offered to students.
