I am absolutely satisfied with the college because of placements and teaching in 2018.

Placements: Our college is very good in placements. We get almost all the companies to our college, and the placements percent is about 80. As for my branch is concerned, we don't get that many companies, but for other branches, it is good. As our college is the oldest one, we get top companies. The maximum package is 20 lakhs per annum. For IT companies, it is an average of 3.25 lacs per annum. We do get companies like Accenture, Infosys, Cognizant etc. Last year, in our college, almost all the CS branch s...

The college is worthy and the infrastructure is good.

Placements: Our college is one of the best colleges in Bangalore, which is there for many years. It has its own identity in society. Every year approximately 70% of the students will get placed in every branch. Approximately 30-40 companies will come for placement purpose for every branch in every year.

This has been one of the best decisions of my life.

Placements: The placements of our college have been improving since its inception. The placement of IT branch is quite good. Several top IT companies come and recruit students from our college. Most notable companies are Infosys, Wipro etc. The average CTC ranges from 3 LPA to 5 LPA.

The best for knowledge and the worst for the infrastructure

Placements: It has a good placement cell, whereas around 150+ companies visit here. The placement cell provides good training for the placements. Our college has around 3 types of placement sectors. One is the open dream this means above 6. Dream it less than 6. And Core branch it is for the Mech, EE, EC branches.

The UVC resembles the great civil engineer, sir M.Vishveshwaraiah who is a pride of India.

Placements: The placements are very good, and 100% placements are provided. We can expect many job opportunities. Here, many MNCs will hire good talented students. Overall, good placement and education. The jobs offered are based on skills and expertise, and also they can get good packages according to their skills and talents so that society can get good engineers and companies will be developed. The students get placed in the good companies according to their skills, marks and rankings.

A good government college in terms of placements.

Placements: Placements are good, and yearly more than 100 companies visit our college for placement drive. The minimum package was 3 LPA, and the maximum was 16 LPA as far as it is concerned for 2017-18 batch. The placement office ensures every eligible candidate to get placed. You can try for the internships from the 3rd year.

Very good for studies, placements, and enjoyment

Placements: The placements are very good since around 120 companies visited. The percentage of job offers was 250%. On an average, there were 2.5 jobs per person. Shapurji Pallonji, Vedanta, Infosys, Accenture, Hilti, etc. In total, placements are good but in the civil department, the placements are low compared to other departments. Most of our seniors have qualified for GATE and are working in PSUs.

UVCE - A place to explore self and engineer society.

Placements: UVCE is a government funded engineering college and the only one in Bangalore. This is the very reason that most of the top companies and organisations visit the college first before any other institution. Every ever, the college has shown a consistent track record of 90+% campus placement in the core engineering streams. Reputed companies like General Motors, Royal Enfield, Bosch, Textron, Mercedes Benz, and others visit the campus. Computer and Information Science streams have the best recruit...

This college is located in the centre of Bangalore and is well connected by BMTC buses and Metro. Since it is located in the centre of the city, the campus is not that big. However, our college is affiliated to Bangalore University, so we can use the side by campuses and the auditorium of the central college, which is also affiliated to Bangalore University. You can`t get management quota seats here, but if seats remained vacant, they will announce through notification. The fee is very low, th...

This college is established by Sir M Visvesvaraya. I did my Masters degree in Thermal Science and Engineering from September 2013 to December 2015. I got to express a lot in various activities and gained valuable technical expertise. The only disadvantage is that the support from the system is very less. Procedures are not followed. There is no support system to help the student’s community. In a way all these shortcomings are also an advantage because of which students learn to do things by the...

College is good, but administration is bad since it comes under Bangalore University. It took more than 18 months since the completion of the course to get the degree certificate from the University. Coming to the college, placements are good, every year close to 100% placement is achieved, but knowledge wise we should be ready to do lot of self-study.

The civil engineering department is located at the Bangalore university campus. The surrounding area is covered in greenery. As one approaches the building, we observe that the building was built a long time ago. Going only by the appearance it may be difficult to judge the infrastructure of the college. But the truth is that the college boasts about big class rooms, well equipped and furnished laboratories having all the experiments apparatus, and samples for testing and reporting purpose. One ...

It is a nice and well-reputed college in Bangalore. Placements are also good. In 2015, approximately 100 companies visited and recruited around 700 people from our college. The college will soon be celebrating its 100th anniversary. All most all teaching faculty are PhD holders. I am proud to have been a part of this college.

Wonderful college with excellent support from faculty members particularly if you want to pursue a career in research and development. As it is at the heart of the city and attracts many students both to pursue a course and during fests, it is also an autonomous college, attendance is not that strict, placements for UG is very good for PG Internships are very common but core placements are very less.

It provides you a platform to directly interact with many IT giants by giving an opportunity of internships in the companies, which can be offered as jobs after the internship completion. It is the only college offering BE/ME under Bangalore university with very good campus placement opportunities.
