Absolutely fruitful in terms of placements, which was less tasty in my period.

Placements: The placements in our college are good. The placements were not less than 80% for our batch, and for our senior batch, they were not less than 85%. The highest package offered is 13 LPA, and the lowest package is 2-3 LPA. We have an efficient placement cell in our college.

The decision of joining or not is up to the individual. It is not the place for sensitive students.

Placements: The college has its own placement cell which organises placement interviews for students and also trains them prior to the interviews. The placement statistics are good if not the best since it's a government college. Most of the jobs are related to the IT sector, but there are enough opportunities for grabbing in other departments too. The average package is around 3 LPA with 12 LPA being offered as the highest package for our batch. When it comes to companies visiting the company, one can see ...

One of the best colleges when it comes to placements.

Placements: The placements for our batch were pretty good. Around 85-90% of the students were placed, with the highest package went to 13 LPA. Companies hired students in different profiles. Electronics engineering students had an option to go for their core companies as well. Around 15-20% of the students got internship. Yes, we do have a placement cell in our college and the best thing is students from the particular batch only take initiatives to handle the placements of their year. They're known as plac...

A review of University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering.

Placements: The college provides very good placements every year. Around 115 companies visit the campus for placements on an average. Students are placed in reputed companies like Dell, Techmahindra, HP, Moonraft, Mistral, Nokia, Siemens, Infinera, Tismo and the list goes on. One more important thing is one of our navaratnas, i.e. BEL recruits students from our college.

It is an amazing college to make your dreams come true.

Placements: UVCE is the best college in Karnataka in terms of placements, where more than 150 companies take part in the placements, every year. Top companies offering good packages visit the college, and many students get placed in any of the companies. Placement faculty work great in this college.

Review of University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering.

Placements: The placements for our batch and the senior batch were good. Almost 90% of the students got placed in good companies. The highest package offered was 14.4 LPA, and the least was 2.5 LPA. Most of the students got jobs as developers, and a few were offered some other roles like testing and support.

If you want take admission please choose Computer or Information Science branch.

Placements: Around 100+ companies visited our college. Comparing our batch with senior batch, our batch placements were very low. They bagged 1000+ offer letter. I don't know what exact percent of students got placed in our batch but it is from 60 - 70% I guess. The highest package was somewhere around 12- 13 LPA and the lowest package was actually one company demand 40,000 from student lol. And these placements all depends on how your batch coordinators work on to invite companies and settle them for high ...

I am happy with the college as it provided good knowledge for life with better qualities.

Placements: The placements for our batch were quite low in percentage, but overall, it was good. Compared to our senior batch, we had less placements. The successful placements on the campus were because of our good placement coordinators and our placement cell. Their hard work paid much in our placements.

Struggles of UVCEians which becomes their strength.

Placements: For our seniors, in CSE department, around 75% of the students got placed. For us placement process has just begun. 2-3 companies recruited few students. Companies are expecting more from our college students actually. Little support and encouragement are expected of professors. Teaching is good. Management can be made little strict about attendance and internal assessments. Many activities and events conducted flby students help them a lot in their HR interviews as students are very much active...

The college has good faculty and placements.

Placements: In terms of placements, UVCE is the best. But the salary package offered is a bit low compared to RV, Ramaiah, top colleges. The salary package offered in RV is 6 LPA, but the salary package offered here is 4 LPA for the same job. Still, many companies visit UVCE, and you can make the best use of that.

University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering.

Placements: Placements were relatively lesser than what had been for our seniors. Majority of the Core companies came to college in the form of pool campus. Very few mechanical companies offered core profiles. Nearly 30% of the students from mechanical engineering actually placed in mechanical companies.

Good Placements in 2016 with over 1000 offers for close to 600 studnets.

Placements: Placements are extremely good. Close to 97% of students got placed in our senior batch and little less in our batch. The highest package stood at 13 LPA and the lowest package offered was 2.7 LPA with average salary clocking around 4 LPA. TCS, Accenture, Infosys were major recruiters on campus. Even SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Avaya, Moonraft, Musigma etc. Visited the campus. Most of the roles were offered in the IT sector. Usually, not many students go for internships. But, the count isn't zero. Pl...

Be prepared to study on your own. The infrastructure needs to be improved.

Placements: In the information science engineering department, the placements offered for the 2018 batch students was 79%. Around 50 companies visited the campus for placements. Many people join this college only based on its previous placement statistics. The placements are quite consistent over the years. Many companies like Cisco, Dell, Adobe, etc., have visited the campus. Other mass recruiting companies like Infosys and Wipro also visit the campus for placements.

Very Good placements in 2017, Bad infrastructure, Less fee structure, .

Placements: The placements here in this college are good enough for the students studying here. The placements here in this college are very good when compared to other colleges. There are many clubs in the college like I EEE and many. You can join those to get the certificates which will be helpful during placements.

Uvce- the titans of the engineering college.

Placements: The placements in our college for E&C branch is good. They give placement training from 3rd year itself and the students are very happy with the placements here in this college. Mostly 70 to 80% of the students get placed here for both core and mass companies.

I am proud to be an UVCEian, and I recommend all the students to join UVCE.

Placements: I don't think any other college in Karnataka is better than this college regarding the placements. According to me, the placements are fabulous for the CSE and the IS branch, and remaining branches also got good placement records. In Karnataka, this is the first college I prefer regarding the placements. I got placed in two companies (IT and core), and I was given the option to choose the company.
