Very good college for IS computer science and EC branches.

Placements: Compared to other colleges more core companies visit our college, but still, many students are being graduated without a job. Few students get placed in mass recruiting companies, and it depends on the current market status. The students of 2016 to 2017, were offered about 30 core jobs. But all are not related to the core branch, few jobs are related to management, sales and marketing.

Very good for studies, placements, and enjoyment

Placements: The placements are very good since around 120 companies visited. The percentage of job offers was 250%. On an average, there were 2.5 jobs per person. Shapurji Pallonji, Vedanta, Infosys, Accenture, Hilti, etc. In total, placements are good but in the civil department, the placements are low compared to other departments. Most of our seniors have qualified for GATE and are working in PSUs.

Placements are superb but building will not stay long for a long period.

Placements: The placements in the college are pretty good. Our seniors and batch mates have recorded 100% placement. The college delivers it properly. The highest and lowest salary packages for CSE was 16 lpa and 3.25 lpa, ECE 11 lpa and 3 lpa, EEE 9 lpa and 3 lpa MECH 9.6 lpa and 3 lpa, Civil 8 lpa and 2.7 lpa, over 150 companies visited the campus. Some prominent companies for CSE are Microsoft, McKinsey Digital Labs, Accolite, VMware, SAP Labs, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan & Chase, Dell, Hewlett-Pack...

University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering.

Placements: The placements are one the main reasons; students prefer the college. The placements of our seniors were of top notch. There were many companies like Royal Enfield, Accenture, and other top companies came for recruiting students from our college. After RV college in Bangalore, UVCE is best for placements.

Better than BIT and other by-colleges but not better than BMS.

Placements: The placements were good before some 3-4 years. But now they have drastically fallen as in all other colleges. Even now there are good placements but not as they were before. At least 60% of the eligible candidates get placed. The highest packages are between 12-16 lakhs, the lowest is 3 lakhs and the average is 4 lakhs per annum.

EEE is good in UVCE. Placements are good.

Placements: The placements are good because our college is the only good government college in Bangalore. Our senior batch, that is, the previous passed out batch had good job recruitment on the campus itself. About 70% of the students got placed. Companies like Accenture, Wipro, BEML, BHEL, etc. visited with job offerings.

Good placements and faculty

Placements: The college is very good in terms of placement. Over 150 companies visited our college last year for placements. The total number of companies increases every year. The percentage of placements is higher in other branches except for mechanical and civil. Over 70% of the students get placed. In mechanical, it falls to below 60%. Coming to the civil branch, the percentage of students placed is very less.

Totally satisfied with the placements and faculty but dissatisified with the infrastructure

Placements: Placements are good but there is lack of core companies visiting. Placement training sessions are good and the advantage is that here the placement coordinators are elected by students and we had 1150 offers this year. We had internship offers from Rolls Royce, Fureacia, Westline and much more. We have about 200 companies visiting regularly. The advantage is that the alumni of UVCE are some of the big tycoons, so it helps in placements a lot.

One of the best colleges for low-income students who have the talent to be in engineering.

Placements: There were a large number of companies recruiting directly from the campus interviews. More than 100 companies will visit the college every year in order to hire more than 1000 students for software, electronics, mechanical and information kind of various department work.

The average package to a person comes out to be 4.5 LPA. Overall, the college stands it name for placements. Talking about internships, every student gets a chance to attend one internship.

Good placements for all branches except civil and architecture.

Placements: Placements are really great for other branches like CS and EC. As the intake for civil and architecture are more, students are cheated from placements. As it is a government college, professors and the college administration are not really worried about the students getting placed.

The fun and evergreen college - UVCE.

Placements: In Bangalore, if you are considering placements then one of the nest colleges is UVCE where companies like Avaya, Dell, Godrej, hp, Vedanta, Royal Enfield, Tata, Accenture, CTS, Infosys, Wipro, Inteva, Toyota, Bosch, Orient, JK Cement, Hilti, Moonraft, Software AG, etc. visit and for CS branch, there is hardly 1 or 2 students who are not placed as of now. Packages of 16 LPA, 12 LPA, 6 LPA, 3 LPA, 5LPA, etc. are offered.

UVCE provides a good education but infrastructure is bad.

Placements: The placements are good since it is a government college. Many government sectors offer the job to the students, and surely 100% placements are assured. Many private core companies also come for requirements. Students are offered internships in different industries so that they will get professional experience.

Amazing placements but with infra woes.

Placements: Our college is very famous for placements. Placements are the only reason because of which our college is always in the limelight. Every year, placement statistics of our college are improving. More than 80% of our seniors are placed in reputed companies. The placement activities start as soon as the 6th semester ends, and by the end of 8th semester, 95% of the students are placed. As far as mechanical branch placement is concerned, it's very good. Top companies like BPCL, BEL, Royal Enfield, Ve...

Termed the best after NIT K in Karnataka, best placements. Government college. No attendance issues.

Placements: UVCE provides excellent placements for all the branches in B.E. I would stick only to the mechanical placements. Companies like Hilti, Saint Gobain, Tata Technologies, Vedanta, Godrej, JK Cement, Royal Enfield and many more (more than 20 companies just for mechanical) have visited our campus this year with L&T, Inteva, Faurecia, BEL, BPCL (BPCL visits only UVCE in Bangalore) etc. are visiting in near future (next month April 2017). UVCE provides you a perfect platform and then it's up to you to ...

Be a free bird. Build your career right.

Placements: The placement here is the best with a student holding at least 3 offers in an average with a minimum package of 4 lakhs and an average of 6 lakhs. Microsoft and Google are the key companies that visit the college. The placement team does an excellent job to help you prosper.

Very good college with proficient faculty members and delightful placement opportunities.

Placements: UVCE is a renowned college in Karnataka and it is affiliated with Bangalore University. UVCE has a good background of placements. When it comes to ranking among the colleges, it stands in top 5. Obviously in any college ranking, placements plays a significant role. UVCE has an average placement of about 80% for undergraduates. For Masters, the placement percentage is around 60%. Average salary offered to students is around 4 LPA. Around 10 to 12 core companies comes for recruitment.

A 100-year-old college with very good placements, good teaching faculty, but poor infrastructure.

Placements: The placements in UVCE are very good as 80% of the students are getting placed every year. The companies also offered a good salary. There will be six to eight mass recruitment companies. For the mechanical stream, a fair number of core companies will recruit 50 odd students. The highest salary offered was 15 lakhs per annum. There were also some companies which offered an internship but only a few students were selected.
