Review of Vasavi College including its placement and college life.
Placements: Around 80%, including me, got the placement. Top recruitment companies are Service Now, EY, Deloitte, FactSet, Salesforce, MTX, etc. Many other students secured internships. Roles offered are testing and development based on the requirements of the company.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi network is strong in some blocks, while most of the blocks don't have Wi-Fi. Classrooms are average. The space of the library is small compared to no. of students. During exam time, we won't get a place to sit. I wasn't staying in the college hostel, so can't say about hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are good, especially, Vaman sir from the CSE department. He is very kind and helpful towards students. Course curriculum is relevant and makes us industry-ready. There are 6 Semester exams and it's tough to pass. If we study promptly concerning internal question papers, we can easily pass the exams.
Other: Vasavi is known for providing the best placements. Canteen is not so good including staff members. If we maintain a CGPA above 7.5, we get many opportunities for placements in CSE.

A very good college with good placements.
Placements: Nearly 50-60% of students got placed. Top companies like Amazon, etc., visit our college to recruit students. Internships are very good in the college. Top roles offered are HR and some of the important roles in the company. Core companies also recruit students.
Infrastructure: There are very well-maintained classrooms. Lab facilities are also available with the experienced lab faculty. There is a library. There is no hostel service in our college. In the library, we can access the different journal papers. We have a digital library also.
Faculty: Teachers are well-experienced and very friendly with students. They complete the syllabus on time and clarify students' doubts. They don't hesitate in this college. There are many industrial visits. The syllabus is very good enough for students to get ready for the industry.
Other: Our college conducts a big fest.

My Engineering college in Hyderabad .
Placements: Our batch is the 2025 passing batch. The highest package till now is 81 LPA, and the average package is 7 LPA. Roles offered include developer, manager, and others. About 3 percent of people got internships with companies like Visa, ServiceNow, Providence, and Salesforce on campus, while Microsoft and Amazon offered off-campus opportunities.
Infrastructure: We don't have any college hostel. I live in a private PG hostel here; it is quite expensive. The monthly rent is 7,000, and the food is decent. The food is cooked here and is healthy. Every Sunday, they provide chicken biryani, and weekly, they serve non-veg chicken twice.
Faculty: The teachers are quite experienced; most of them have completed their PhDs or Masters. The curriculum is good, but some subjects are outdated, like microprocessors where we are still taught 8085, 8086, and microcontrollers like 8051. However, in programming subjects, we are quite good.

Lovely new games, good placements, supportive faculty.
Placements: About 50% got placed in mechanical, but in software-related branches, almost 80%. The highest package is 20 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. TCS, Deloitte, Amazon, Cognizant, Infosys, and many more come for placements. Most internships were in DRDL, DRDO, ECIL, or NFC, which are run by the government. About 90% did the internship. Top roles include core mechanical as well as some programming roles.
Infrastructure: The library has a separate 3-floor building along with a digital library. There is Wi-Fi for each building. Labs have pretty old machines, but new ones are being added too. There is no hostel available. The food in the canteen has a good variety, so that's nice. We have a lot of sports options, including indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: The teachers are very skilled, and they are also supportive and encouraging throughout. The teaching quality is good too. Yes, the course makes students industry-ready because we have a lot of industrial visits and lab work. There are 2 internals, which have no option questions, and 1 external, so they are pretty difficult.

One of the most reputed colleges is VASAVI.
Placements: I can't give an accurate percentage, but from 100 students, 10-15 got placed. Placements are still going on, and the highest salary is 8.6 LPA, the lowest is 3.6 LPA, and the average from last year is 8 LPA. In our branch, we don't get internships through the college; we apply privately off-campus. The top roles offered were basic roles only.
Infrastructure: Our college consists of 5 blocks, including one library block. There is one basketball court and one indoor block with chess, carrom, and table tennis tables. We also have water plants across our college. We don't have a hostel on campus.
Faculty: Our college professors are very highly qualified and experienced, with very strong knowledge of core concepts and the basics of each subject. Professors are very welcoming to students and ready to help them and clarify doubts. The course curriculum is very relevant and makes students ready for the industry.

Truth about Vasavi college of engineering.
Placements: This college will be a great place who are dedicated to studies. Most of the students are placed into IT companies and if you are too good at your core side then you can get good amount of money based on your skill sets.
Infrastructure: The compass is not large enough to have a specific ground for sports. The ground allocated to sports is filled with buses; it is sophisticated. In the canteen, the food is okay, but the prices are high. There is no college hostel; it is a small college with everything fitted into it without much free space.
Faculty: The relationship between the management and the faculty is poor; they make everything a mess while making timetables and curriculum, and they include unnecessary subjects like human values for 3 to 4 semesters, which is pointless. They need to focus more on industry knowledge than on soft skills.
Other: If you are the one who wants to enjoy college life and make memories, I don't prefer this college, and if you are the one who is serious about studies and doesn't have an interest in other stuff, this place is for you. Basically, they keep you running throughout the course and at the end, you don't have time to think about yourself and you are in a loop chasing your grades and at the end, you have nothing but a grade. I don't think this is for engineering guys.
