B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2024

Strong curriculum with great placements and vibrant campus life.
Placements: I am from the 2024 batch of Computer Science and Engineering. Around 85% of students are placed, with the highest salary package offered being 12 LPA. And the average salary package offered being 5 LPA. And the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiters included Capgemini, Infosys, and TCS. About 75% of students secured internships, with roles such as Software Developer.
Infrastructure: Our course has excellent infrastructure, with Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, well-equipped labs, and a well-stocked library. Hostel facilities are comfortable with good medical support. The mess and canteen offer decent food, and sports facilities are great for recreation.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable, helpful, and well-qualified, with teaching quality rated four out of five. The curriculum is industry-relevant and prepares students well. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with a high pass percentage of around 85%-90%.
Other: I chose this course to build a strong foundation in software development and pursue a career in IT. The best aspects are practical learning, experienced faculty, and an industry-oriented curriculum. However, I wish for more hands-on projects and improved internship opportunities. Our campus hosts vibrant events, tech fests, and extracurricular activities, fostering a lively and collaborative environment. Connectivity is excellent, and the surroundings are serene, enhancing the learning experience. Scholarships are offered based on merit, making education accessible to many students.

Absolutely satisfied with the college.
Placements: In our college, the placement department is very dedicated. Almost 85% of students in our batch got placed. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. The top recruiting company is SAP. The college offered tech-related jobs like software development, testing, and other related roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. It has a good environment where we connect to the college spiritually. Wi-Fi and lab facilities are available. There are different canteens for different branches.
Faculty: Teaching wise the college has the best teachers. They give us clear-cut exposure to all concepts. Semester-wise exams get a bit heavier since engineering has a lot of the syllabus. Teachers here not only concentrate on the syllabus, but they also make sure that we learn aspects from the outside world.
Other: The college conducts a lot of cultural programmes. It also celebrates all festivals in the college. It conducts a fresher's day, farewell, college day, etc.

I am not satisfied with campus placements in 2022.
Placements: No companies visit our college for campus recruitment. We are being forced to apply to companies that advertise their offers on WhatsApp and other places. Some local companies recruit us only due to the efforts of some lecturers. The college only focuses on finding jobs for IT students.
Infrastructure: The facilities are average. The Wi-Fi is kind of unusable. Labs are good and contain all the necessary equipment. Classrooms are not well maintained. The projectors are not good, and no one even cares to align them properly. The library is good and contains all sorts of books for reference. There are no medical facilities in the college, and the mess is not good.
Faculty: Teachers are good. The quality of teaching is also excellent. Teachers can't do anything to make us industry-ready because the syllabus doesn't have anything useful in it. Most of the topics don't have any relation to the real world, and it cannot be blamed on teachers. They teach us what they can at a given time. Semester exams are average. The pass percentage is between 60% and 70%.

It is a good college and I would recommend joining it.
Placements: In our college, the placement department works hard to place every student of all branches. They invite companies to visit our college. They give their best efforts. Above 80% of the students got placed from college. They also give placement training.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good with a healthy environment. The college campus is lush green, and the canteen is also good. There are 2 good libraries, well-equipped labs, clean and hygienic washrooms and restrooms for girls to take rest. Classrooms are good with good seating arrangements.
Faculty: Staff members and faculty members are very good. All the departments have department heads and lecturers. All lecturers concentrate on every individual, and they work hard to make us learn well. They also provide all notes and question banks, which help us during exams. They complete the portions.
