Vemu is the right place for a student to grow.
Placements: Vemu is one of the best colleges in Chittoor district. In my point of view, Vemu is the right place for students to grow. Placement-wise, there were placements for the civil department, and from past two years, the college is well developed, and the placement cell is also improved a lot.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise, in the year 2014, the college was not much developed, but from last three years, the college interior was well-developed, it looks very good now. The facilities provided are good. The hostel maintenance is good. Advanced lab facilities are provided for all the departments.
Faculty: The faculty are average for civil engineering department in the year 2014 and compared to other departments, civil had less faculty support, rest all other branches have very good faculty members. As per my observation, currently, the civil branch also has good faculty.
Other: Every year, the college conducts youth festival and fresher's day. It is good and provides great entertainment.

Dissatisfied because of the laboratories on the campus.
Placements: All the branches have the placements except mechanical and civil engineering. Everything is okay, but they trained well. There are no placements for the civil engineering. In that college, the facilities are good at communicating with the students. They are friendly to us, but the campus placements are not for the civil engineering.
Infrastructure: In my college, everything is good. The classrooms are good with the projectors. The faculty members explain the subject by using the projectors. We have a central library with NET lab. At the free time, we are going to that lab and see interesting science videos.
Faculty: In my college, the faculty members are friendly to everyone. They have excellent knowledge in explaining the subjects. We are studied theoretically and applied practically in site. Without applying practical, we can't understand. Every faculty member is ready to clarify the doubts.
Other: Every year, the events are held on the campus.

Overall, my college was good and will be better.
Placements: It's the 1st in our college history that we got a lot of placements, and a job Mela was also conducted and got placed in a well-reputed company along with the 12 of the other members. Overall, the placements were good. Especially, for CSE and EEE, the placements were awesome.
Infrastructure: My college is developing one. When I joined, it was only 3 buildings with the minimum facility, but they build good labs, good seminar halls. Every class got a projector. Now, the labs are with good equipment, but they are of old model. The desk and benches were all new. The new hostel is also good with all the facilities. During my course, little issues of equipment were there, but chairperson immediately solved it. The library is full of books and welcomed always. They are provided with all sort of subject books.
Faculty: All the faculty members are helpful. They are knowledgeable about the subject theoretically, and few were practical. Only, few are PhD holders and remaining are M.Tech graduates. There is no industry exposure. The course curriculum was not bad. They took us to the building which was under construction in the college few times, but now, they are taking us to industrial visit.
Other: When I was in the 1st year of my B.Tech, the annual fest was the best event, then, later on, it was decreased. The strict rules are there for the fest. There is a less enjoyment. The campus strength (crowd) was good, but a little far to reach the college. The college is present in the rural area across the national highway to Tirupati. More than 50% of the students get the scholarship, apart from this, there are sports which happens only once in a year for us. But for the juniors, they got a schedule for the sports activity once in a week.
