It is a good college that provides good facilities.

Placements: Since our branch was introduced a few years back, there was no placement record. Placements provided in our college are good. Students who put in their efforts get desired results.

Our college faculty is not that good.

Placements: The lowest salary package is 1.5 to 2 LPA and the highest salary package is 22 LPA. We have to do a free internship till the final year for knowledge. Around 30 to 35% of students get placed. Companies like Coca-Cola will offer a good salary package.Civil and mechanical engineering has no placements.

Till now, I got satisfied with this college.

Placements: The college has good placements. The average salary is 3 LPA, and the highest is 8 LPA from Barclays company. It is best for instrumentation engineering as well as for mechanical engineering. Mostly, Infosys visit here. We are expecting that percentage of placements will increase in coming years.

Placement rate has certainly dropped over the period of years.

Placements: Only one MNC company this year (Infosys for 2018 batch passouts). Overall not more than 5 companies visited VCET. Only plus point was Infosys took around 85 students total from all the branches, that majorly included comps and IT. Rest of the other companies hardly took 10 students.

It is an excellent college, but in some of the factors they are leading far back.

Placements: Not many Companies attended our colleges only the mass recruitment companies to attend a maximum of 2. Most of The IT sectors are placed in the college rather than Extc, and Mech students didn't get placed easily. From past 2 years or 3 years, only a few companies were visited.

A strict and developing college.

Placements: Placement opportunities are good here. But, if want placement in the core field then chances are less when compared to the IT sector. IT companies also placed most of the students. Events such as Go-kart and then racing also helps students in developing the basic concepts and practical knowledge. This college takes aptitude test classes and exams for easy placement in good companies.

Dissatisfied and disappointed because of faculty, and placements, so do not take admission.

Placements: The placements were around 70% for my batch, and those 70% students were out of those who got 1st class. There were no opportunities made available for rest of the batch. Also, there were no internship opportunities provided until my batch, and I am sure that those will not be provided in future also which means it's going to be tough during your interviews. TCS and Infosys were two major companies in 2015. No core companies offered any placements for EXTC, and it was the same for my previous ba...

The college is unable to provide quality of placements but they are giving quality of education.

Placements: During my batch, the college team unable to invite new core companies. Comparing with the last batch only 40 percent of the students got placed. The companies like Infosys and Capgemini decreased the number of vacancies. The college training and placement team is always taking placement activities like aptitude test practice and some seminar on placements issue.

In short, the college is average.

Placements: The students of the last year are struggling for placement, but they can not get the full placements. Only the students who were selected are getting placements, and the selectors of the college also are very strict. Many students are getting placements, and some are happy with it, and some are not. There are a few friends of mine in the final year, and they are telling me about the placements.

Overall a good college. Placements are getting better by the day. Annual fest is nice and worth it.

Placements: The placement scenario has been improving every year. The training and placement committee (TNP) not only provides with various certification courses such as Oracle certification, Microsoft certification, etc. to increase the chances of the student being placed but also provides with courses for aptitude training to enable the student to crack an aptitude test. Multiple online aptitude tests are conducted to provide the student with an experience of how online aptitude works and letting them kno...

A college undergoing a facelift.

Placements: Placements are improving over the years. What was only one or two companies visiting the campus is now more than 30 (including pool campuses). The college is now the hot bed for hiring being the only good one in the Vasai-Virar region. Things have vastly improved in the last 3 years. But this year has been pretty average so far. Blame it on recession. The last academic year even saw internships for final year students, but not this time. Companies like Infosys and Capgemini have hired less than ...
