B.E. in Computer Engineering - Batch of 2024

Disappointed with the placements of 2024 batch.
Placements: Only 30–40% of the students were placed in 2024. The highest package was 10 lpa, the lowest was 3 lpa, and the average was also 3 lpa. The top recruiters were TCS, Neebal Infotech, Arcon, etc. 10–15% of students got internships off campus. The top roles were technical and non-technical, like SDE and business analyst.
Infrastructure: There is a Wi-Fi facility available for students. There are limited labs due to the number of students admitted. There is a computer lab, a physics lab, and a chemistry lab. The library has limited books that are reference books mentioned in the university curriculum. There is no hostel facility available.
Faculty: The teachers mostly hold Masters degrees, and some hold Ph.D. Even though they hold Ph.D.s, many of them do not have domain knowledge. Faculty only read PowerPoints and do not have practical knowledge of subjects. The course curriculum is outdated and not relevant to industry.

College has good faculty and management.
Placements: Our college was offering good placement opportunities to the students. Almost 40–44% of students from our batch get on-campus placements. The average package offered at our college was 3-6 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course was ACL Digital, Black Rock, Black Turtle, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college has good-quality facilities. The college has a well-developed management system for offering good-quality facilities to students. Wi-Fi, labs, libraries, canteens, hostels, etc. facilities were available at our college. The hostel facilities were available at our college.
Faculty: The faculty of this college was helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of this college was also good. This course's curriculum was relevant. Professors at our college were highly experienced in the field of teaching. It makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams were easy and difficult.

Average college but it is improving slowly.
Placements: The percentage of students that got placed was around 70% and 55–60% overall. The highest package in the year 2022 was around 18 LPA, but the average package for the tech-related branch (CS IT, Csds) was around 7 LPA. I am surely new to college but due to several clubs, I came to know that one student from the CS branch got offered a 44 LPA (off campus). Recruiters like Tech Mahindra, TCS, Coca-Cola, Amazon, and Infosys do come here.
Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi and labs are good but they are not available for first-year students. There are AC classrooms on the 4th and 5th floors, but they only conduct lectures there for 3rd or 4th year students. The library is the place here that is best, as you will get every book you will need during your studies. Hostels and PGs here are cheaper than in Mumbai.
Faculty: Some teachers are well qualified but not all of them are helpful, as some of them come there just to read there PowerPoint by standing and looking at the board. But some are exceptionally good and try to help us in every possible way. The course curriculum is based on Mumbai University, so basically now we are following the syllabus for 2019. From my point of view, this is the place where we lag. The syllabus we are studying is just the basics and we don't get time for their practical applications and personal growth, which affects us during placements.

All the best. If you have talent you will get there.
Placements: 70% of students get placed. 1.5 to 5 lacs are the packages offered in many courses. Tech information and many more companies visit college as per their requirements. This depends on the students, their grades, and their choice. I don't know anything about the offer.
Infrastructure: There are no hostels for students; please check PGs. There are many PGs nearby. The library faculty is outstanding. The labs are very good. The classroom is too good. The canteen is much more expensive, and the taste is not that much good but the space is good. The thing is, please get your food from home.
Faculty: The teachers are outstanding; they are always ready to help you; it's up to you how you are going to use them. The knowledge level is totally mind-blowing, especially in physics, sir and BE mechanics are the best. They start with the basics and teach you everything.
Other: I opted for civil because of my interest. All you need is confidence and hard work, and you will be able to master it so do your best. Events are as good as I have seen and crazy things are going on, but as usual, it is not easy at all.

It is a good college that provides good facilities.
Placements: Since our branch was introduced a few years back, there was no placement record. Placements provided in our college are good. Students who put in their efforts get desired results.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are provided for students on campus. Hostel facility is not provided in our college.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are good. They put a lot of effort into helping and guiding students. Students learn core subjects with the first-year curriculum. Semester exams are not difficult if students study.
Other: Many opportunities are provided at this college. There are various clubs in which students can join as per their interest. Students gain more practical knowledge compared to academics.

Good college and overall academically fulfilling.
Placements: This year's highest package placed in my department, which is artificial intelligence and data science, was 8-9 LPA. Knowing it is a fresh branch, students get recruited for a minimum of 3.5-4 LPA from recruiters like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, etc.
Infrastructure: We are provided with all facilities like Wi-Fi all around the college, completely air-conditioned classrooms, and a huge library along with an e-library on the ground floor. Not to forget, the hygienic canteen provides both non-veg and veg delicacies, along with clean toilets on each floor.
Faculty: Each and every faculty member is well-versed in their respective subjects and friendly enough to solve all your doubts. Apart from academic support, faculty members also help you immensely with regard to your extracurricular activities and are involved in events hosted.
Other: We have clubs that organize different events throughout the year, and our main fest is ZEAL, along with sports events like AHAVAN.
