Is BE/BTech at Vijaya Vittala Institute of Technology (VVIT) Worth the Investment?

After analyzing the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what emerged:

Placement Record: The placement record varies across batches, with some seeing around 70% of students getting placed, while others report a lower figure, ranging from 35% to 65%. The highest package offered ranges from INR3 Lacs to INR12 Lacs per annum, with an average package of around INR3 Lacs to INR4 lakh. Companies like Dell, Infosys, Wipro, and Tata Consultancy Services recruit students from VVIT.

Facilities and Infrastructure: While the institute has improved its infrastructure over the years, some students feel that the hostel facilities lack maintenance, and the food quality could be better. The library has a vast collection of books, and the college has invested in smart boards and projectors in classrooms.

Faculty and Curriculum: Students appreciate the teaching quality, saying that professors are supportive and knowledgeable. The curriculum is relevant, making students industry-ready, although some students may face difficulties during semester exams due to VTU's strict evaluation system.

Other Aspects: Students enjoy participating in sports and cultural events, which adds to the college's vibrant atmosphere. However, some students feel that the college's Wi-Fi connection could be improved, especially in the hostel areas.

Overall, while there are mixed views regarding the placement record and infrastructure, the majority of students agree that the faculty and curriculum are strong. If you're considering pursuing BE/BTech at VVIT, weigh these factors carefully to determine whether the investment is right for you.

    Conclusion:
While VVIT has its strengths and weaknesses, the institution seems to offer a solid education with opportunities for placements and career growth. With careful consideration of the pros and cons, aspiring engineers may find VVIT a worthwhile choice.

Note: The above answer is based on the provided information and might not reflect the current situation entirely. For a more accurate picture, please consult the official website of VVIT or contact the college administration directly.

One of the worst college in Karnataka .
Placements: In our college, placement is very bad. About 35-40% of students were placed. The highest package is 12 LPA, the lowest is 3.8 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Dell, Infosys, Mahindra, TCL, Bosch, etc. About 40% of students got internships. Computing Manager is the top role offered in my course.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is very bad. There is no larger campus, and there are no proper Wi-Fi facilities. Classrooms are average with smart board technology. Labs are good, with new computers fixed in the labs, but the basic science lab is very bad. One of the worst hostels, this hostel has no quality food available, no medical facilities, and a small ground for playing.
Faculty: Helpful facilities and experienced, well-knowledgeable lecturers are available in our college. The teachers have a good sense of teaching. Yes, it is based on curriculum-related content and it makes sense. It is affiliated with VTU, and exams are also conducted by VTU. Exams are easy, but strict correction can result in losing marks.

Peaceful campus with very good teachers.
Placements: Placement in my college is average, with the highest package of 10 LPA and the lowest package being about 2.5 LPA. I got an 8.7 LPA offer from a product-based company. Companies like Navy Merchant, Agis, Cognizant, etc., came for placement drives. 70% of students got placed, and many got internships.
Infrastructure: The college has well-maintained infrastructure and a clean environment. Two auditoriums are present, and a sports room is accessible to students. All classrooms have free Wi-Fi, and the labs are maintained with updated computers. A medium-capacity library is present.
Faculty: The teachers in the college are friendly and have good experience. They teach very well and have good experience in teaching. The course is very relevant to today's industry, and many professionals visit the college for workshops and seminars. The exams are a bit tough, and we need to prepare well. Around 85% of students pass with average marks.

All kinds of facilities are available in our college.
Placements: One thing in our college is that almost all the students are placed in the Computer Science batch members and with the highest package of 14 LPA and the lowest package of 6 LPA for my course. Top companies offered for Computer Science, and 60% of students got internships in Computer Science in top companies. Software developed for my course is also offered.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good in our college, and infrastructure is also available for my course. The smart boards are available in our classrooms, and Wi-Fi connections are too good. The labs are also good. In our college library, all the books are available, and the quality of facilities is good. Good quality food is also available.
Faculty: Greatfully, teachers are very helpful in our college and very knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is very good because they will guide us in studies and they will help with curriculum activities. Semester exams are very good because monthly exams are helpful for semester exams, so it's very helpful. 70% of students pass in our college.

Good College and good Staff but Fine is Horrible.
Placements: The placement rate at our College is quite low, with only 31% of students in our course being placed. The range of salaries offered is from 23,000 per month to a maximum of 6 LPA, with an average of 42,000 per month. The prominent recruiting companies include Wipro, TCS, and IBM, which also offer virtual internships.
Infrastructure: The quality of the hostel is subpar, with the hostel fee being higher than what it offers. The Wi-Fi connection in the hostel is unreliable, and there is no digital library available for hostel students. Moreover, the facilities in the hostel, such as the food and the size of the classrooms, are unsatisfactory.
Faculty: The Faculty is supportive in both academic and athletic pursuits. The instructors are highly qualified, holding master's degrees, and they exclusively hire master's students. The teaching standard is commendable, and the curriculum is directly applicable to the field of Computer Science. The examinations are challenging, resulting in a pass rate of only 53% of students.
