Visvesvaraya College of Engineering and Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
CoursesEligibility
MBA/PGDMCandidate must have passed Bachelor Degree (BA / B.Com/ B.Sc/ BBA / BBM / BCA / BE / B.Tech / B. Pharmacy / Any 3 or 4 year Degree except Oriental Languages). Examinations of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved categories) in the qualifying examinations. Final year appearing students may also apply on provisional basis. The minimum age of the candidates should be 19 years as on the date of notification (Candidates whose date of Birth up to 30th MARCH, 2003). No maximum age limit.
B.E. / B.TechCandidates who have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. Candidates should have completed 16 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.
M.E./M.TechCandidate must have completed B.E./B.Tech. /AMIE in CSE/ CSIT/ Electronics & Computers Engg. /IT & Computer Science and Systems Engineering or equivalent from a UGC recognised University/ Institute. Preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates over TS PGECET qualified candidates. Candidate must have secured 50% marks in group subjects taken together in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved category).
After 10th DiplomaCandidates must have passed 10th examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or from any other recognised board in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects, and obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination. Candidate must have passed all the subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with minimum of 35% Marks in each subject. Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in March/April-2023, and whose results are yet to be declared are also eligible.

Infrastructure: The college consists of well maintained library with many number of books and many number of Journals. The college consists of well maintained labs and classrooms with good infrastructure. The college consists of multiple sports grounds with many coaching staff.
Faculty: College faculty is good in their respective subjects. The college curriculum is really very good the teachers help the student's to understand the subject's very well and help them in understanding the subjects. The college pass percentage is more than 50.

Placements: 25 % of students got placements. The highest package is 5lakhs and the lowest package is 2.22 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. Only 25% of students got internships. System engineer roles offered for students.
Infrastructure: Labs are not bad, just good. Facilities are also good in this college. The classrooms are very good. Good quality food was available in the college canteen. College surroundings are very good. Full trees and plants are there in a college environment.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are very helpful. And also they are qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also very good. The course curriculum was very relevant and it makes students ready for industry. Above 50% of students will pass the semester exam.

The infrastructure is good, and the faculty are friendly.
Placements: In our college, computer science engineering is the top course. Most of the students join this course only. There are no placements. The placements are poor. Only 1 to 5 companies come here. HCL and Tech Mahindra come here. There are no internships.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are the best. The infrastructure is good, but there are only a few placements. There is no college hostel. Sports are available, and we can play for 2 hours a week.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified. They are friendly, and their teaching quality is excellent. This course is not curriculum relevant. Semester exams are difficult because exam papers and evaluation are done by JNTUH.

It is a good college, and you can go for it.
Placements: 60% of students got placed. The packages range from 3-4 LPA. Wipro, Genpact, etc., are the top recruiting companies. 50% of students got internships, and it helps students very much to get placed in companies with good roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. Wi-Fi is available, and the classrooms are good. A library is available. A canteen is available. Games and sports are lightly concerned. Good environment is provided in the library. Good knowledge is provided by the faculty.
Faculty: The qualification of faculty is up to the mark. Their teaching quality is good. The course is curriculum relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The exams are difficult for students, but the faculty's teaching makes it easy. The pass percentage is good, about 50%.
Other: I chose ECE as I have an interest in electronics. The lab quality can be improved, and also, the canteen quality can be improved.

It is the best college, and you can join in it.
Placements: Nearly 75% of the students from our course got placed. Mainly salary packages are offered to students based on their academic percentage. Many companies like Amazon, etc., are tied-up with our college for placements. Around 75% or above 75% of the students got internships from our course from our college.
Infrastructure: In our college, there is a Wi-Fi facility all over the campus. Labs and classrooms are good, and from the library, students can borrow books to study also. Our college provides good quality facilities. There is a canteen, medical facilities, sports and games. All students are allowed to play.
Faculty: Teachers here are grateful to help us, and they are knowledgeable. Their teaching is good, and it depends on our listening. This course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. It is a very good college, and it is helpful. Teachers are given preference here.
Other: I have chosen CSE because it is my goal to become a software engineer. There are many reasons to choose this group. Many events are organised and fests also. Scholarships are provided, and all extracurricular activities are conducted here to participate.

The campus is very good and comfortable for studying in that environment.
Placements: In the electrical and electronics engineering department branch, above 70% of the students are settled here. The highest salary offered is 1 lac per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month in top companies. The top recruitment company of our course is Wipro.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent. I have never seen this type of advanced equipment in any other colleges. Wi-Fi facility is available at the library, and classrooms are comfortable with projectors. The library is very good, and a large number of books are available for students. Hostel food is good, and sports are superb.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful to every student. They are well-qualified and have completed M.Tech, PhD, and their knowledge is better as compared to other colleges. The course curriculum is relevant, and industrial visits are also available.
Other: I have chosen electrical and electronics engineering because I like it. The best thing about our course is electrical energy is needed in daily life. I wish the college to improve practical knowledge. Every month our college is conducting events in college.
