Detailed review on VIT Chennai university.

Placements: Almost 90 percent of the students get placed and the highest package goes for INR 72 LPA, the average is around INR 8.5 LPA, and the lowest is around INR 4 LPA. Almost all the companies recruit from this university. The placement office does its job pretty well.

Infrastructure: Pretty well-maintained hostels and all other facilities are up to the mark and worth the experience. Sports are also good. Talking about medical facilities, its great because the ambulance and the hospital are right next to the hostels so help is immediate.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members are PhDs; they are well qualified and experienced. The exams are a little too much because you will have exams every month. The curriculum is well planned and the lab components are also pretty amazing. You get complete hands-on experience.

VIT, Chennai Review: 2023.

Placements: The college provided ample opportunities for securing full-time jobs, internships, and pursuing higher education in premier institutes in India and overseas. Good companies visit, but the market has fewer vacancies compared to the number of students. Consequently, even exceptional students may not secure core placements.

Infrastructure: The mess offers good quality food with better taste, and the hostel provides both AC and Non-AC rooms. Hence, campus life is satisfactory for day scholars but comparatively less so for hostellers. Additionally, hostellers enjoy good Wi-Fi speed.

Faculty: In terms of teachers' qualifications, they are the finest faculty one could have; specialized in their respective domains with a helpful and keen nature. The curriculum covers numerous subjects, preparing students for the challenges in the industry.

Other: Alongside events like Teach Fest and Vibrance, the college hosts numerous other events throughout the year. Recently, the college has become stringent regarding dress code.

campus is good not very crowded ,placements are good only

Placements: I am not having the exact data...but the ratio of students who got successfully placed is very high...It is one of the top private colleges in India.Highest Domestic package was 50LPA and the median is about 8 LPA...Companies like Baker Mckenzie,allen&overy.etc..Here is lot of rush to get on campus internship...as all the students wants the internship...so we have to try to get the internship from off-campus.

Infrastructure: Here the facilities are good...the whole college is wifi-enabled....but as many students are there so the speed is lil bit up and down sometimes..Labs are well equipped and library also have all varieties of books...As we all know the quality of food in the mess...we can't compare the mess food with the food prepared at the home...Also the medical facility,sports and games facility are good only..

Faculty: Yeah..all the professors are PHD graduate....so they are quite knowledgeable also...Yes the course curriculum is relevant to what is required in the company...Also we have to study by our own to get the full exposure of the industry...Out of 100,40% is required to pass the exam

VIT Chennai college review -2024.

Placements: Around 80 percent of students got placed last year. The average package was around 8 LPA. Top companies include IBM, Amazon, Microsoft, PayPal, Intel, etc. It is mandatory for a student to do an internship to get a degree, so almost everyone did an internship.

Infrastructure: VIT has very good infrastructure, with numerous buildings and trees. It has a library with sufficient books where we can get both hard copies and soft copies of books. Each block has around 700 classrooms and labs. My experience with the hostel was average, as it's too expensive and the selection of rooms isn't our choice. They allot based on the ranks given to us based on merit.

Faculty: Faculty members are professionals with doctorates. They are friendly with students and always available for doubt clarification. VIT's course curriculum is quite different from other colleges. It is a credit-based system where a student can select courses of his choice. The only condition is that he/she should complete the given amount of credit by the end of the course to get a certificate.

Other: I chose VIT Chennai as it is one of the best colleges in terms of placement. Things that can be improved: Improvise hostel facilities and provide regular outings to students. Conduct more sports-related competitions.
