Review of Vivekanand Education Society’s Institute of Technology.

Placements: Every year, around 75% of students were placed. But the college does not provide any training for the placements, so start preparing for the placement from the 2nd year. Top recruiter companies only take 4 to 5 students while mass recruiter like Accenture hires around 30 in MCA.

Good infrastructure, great teachers, but follows Mumbai University curriculum.

Placements: Due to the pandemic, placements took a hit. Around 8% of the students were placed in the Department of Instrumentation (as of semester 7). The highest package offered was 6.8 Lacs per annum, while the lowest was 3.8 Lacs per annum. So far, the top recruiting companies have been LnT, LTI, Accenture, and Capgemini. As per Mumbai University's rule, the college does not promote or support Internships during the semester.

It is a good college for opportunities.

Placements: The pandemic has slowed down the placement season for now. Only one core company has completed its drive as of December 2020. Students are always appreciated to apply for IT companies. The placement season for our seniors of the 2020 batch was excellent. Almost 90-95% of the eligible students got placed.
