It is the topmost college for studies, and it has good placements and strict faculty.

Placements: As this college is one of the topmost colleges, the demand for companies is high. This college invites many good companies to conduct placement drives on the campus. Almost 70% of the eligible and interested students get placed every year. VESIT invites lots of companies like Accenture, LTI, Atos, Selec, Capgemini, NSE IT, Reliance Industries, Reliance Jio, Reliance Retail, Tata Communication, KPMG, etc., to offer placements.

The college had amazing faculty members and decent placements in 2017.

Placements: Around 85% of the students were placed, and probably a little more students were placed in the senior batch. The highest salary package offered was 7.50 LPA while the lowest salary package offered was 2.80 LPA. Companies like LTI, Atos, Accenture, JP Morgan and a few other IT companies along with core companies like L&T core visited the campus. Students were not provided internship opportunities by the college.

This college is a great place for engineering.

Placements: Placements in our college were great. Almost 75% of the students were placed through campus placement drives. The college has a helpful placement team with a placement officer. The guidance provided to the students to prepare for placements is more than enough. Competent tests were conducted before the beginning of the placement season. Students do enough practice and gain confidence to attend the placement drives.

There are good placements and infrastructure facilities, but the teaching quality is average.

Placements: Core placements were not that good for EXTC stream. Only a handful of companies visited this year. But almost all the students were placed in IT companies. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The placement cell is very good, and as of now, almost 100% of students are placed from IT and computers branch. Placements are good for EXTC branch, but not for ETRX branch.

Make engineering feel like engineering.

Placements: Most of the students in computer and IT courses get placed, but this is not the case with electronics but the placement cell of our college works hard to tackle this and help students with placements. There are seminars conducted by the placement cell to provide more information.

Overall, the college is good.

Placements: I'm a computer science engineering student. Placements in our college are really good. The cream crowd gets good packages. The highest package offered was around 15 LPA. Students who apply for placements will surely get placed except those who opt for higher studies. The mass recruiter of our college is Accenture, which offers a decent package of around 3.5 LPA.

The college is project-focused. It offers better placement opportunities.

Placements: VESIT has a very active placement cell. Every year more than 20 companies visit the college. Morgan Stanley offers higher salary packages, and the salary package starts from 16 LPA. JPMC is also one of the dream companies with a starting salary package of 11 LPA. The companies like TCS, Accenture, and Capgemini are mass recruiters. The average salary package offered is approximately 4 LPA, and the placement rate is 70%.

It is one of the best colleges in Mumbai.

Placements: Placements here are pretty good. IT companies like Accenture, Capgemini, L&T Infotech, visit the campus to recruit students. Some students are also placed in companies like JP Morgan, Nomura, KPMG, etc., with higher salary packages. Support for internships needs to be improved.

It was an average experience for me, as I was an above average student.

Placements: Mass recruiters are given preference by the college as candidates are huge in number. Your placement mostly depends on the pointer you scored (cumulative of all the semesters). If you have a high pointer, then you will be allowed to attend the placement drives of more companies. I recommend each and everyone to try and score at least an 8 pointer and do an internship compulsorily. You should also do certification courses like Java, Salesforce, SQL and ISTQB because you have to do these certifica...

Good placements, infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: This college is one of the best colleges in Mumbai for placements, but you should have good marks. There are many companies that show up for placements and hire candidates. Accenture takes in a lot of people. Salaries offered range from 3 to 8 LPA. Placement department also advises for walk-in interviews.

Best college for decent placements.

Placements: The placements conducted by our college is just like any other college. This year's placements were a little tough as the aptitude tests were not that easy. Even the students with higher pointers were finding it difficult. Yet most of the students got placed. The companies that visited were Infosys, Accenture, etc. The highest package this year was 6 Lacs and average being 2.5. The placement cell co-ordinated well with the company and the students and did a good job.

Vesit review for electronics branch.

Placements: Average placements. An average package of 3.5 LPA is given by Accenture. This year new companies like Next Education ( dream company with a package of 5lpa) selected 3 of the students from electronics, and Seclore ( core company) selected 4 of them. Many other IT companies like lti, atos, capGemini also selected a sector of them.

My experience in Vivekananda Education Societys Institute of Technology.

Placements: The placements for IT and CSE are more favourable than other branches. Keeping the good grades and making marks count in every kind of exam makes the student vulnerable to get more companies offer and participating in every coding contest increases chances of placement in the good company.

Really good teachers but the worst management staff. They made praxis lame. It wasn't so always.

Placements: Around 73% students were placed. In totto, more than 300 got placed in Accenture and around 68 got placed in L&T Infotech. Few got placed in JP Morgan, Capgemini, Nomura, etc. The highest package was grabbed at 16LPA from Morgan Stanley. Most students get internships from BARC, L&T Infotech, BSNL, etc.

VESIT is in top 4-5 colleges of Mumbai for engineering.

Placements: 6-7 dream companies come for CS/IT. Mass recruiters like Accenture, L&T, Capgemini also come every year. Some core companies come to instrumentation. If you are a nerdy student, you will obtain a job in JP Morgan. This year, the no. of students hired by dream companies is less when compared to the earlier years. If you are in CS/IT, you will obtain a job in mass recruiter IT companies.
