A really good college where you can enjoy your student life as well as get placements.
Placements: About 70% of the students are placed at the college. Students get an average package of INR 4 LPA and go through up to INR 10 LPA. There are top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. There are jobs in software engineering, web development, etc., and a lot more are offered to students.
Infrastructure: There is free wi-fi available anywhere in the college. High-performance labs and equipment are available there. Good libraries have good functionality, and you get everything that you need. Classrooms are well equipped with modern equipment. The college hostel is very clean, and a lot of rooms are available there. One of the best places in the college is the canteen. You can hang out with your friends there, and it's a very hygienic place. A lot of food items are available, and it is good food. The college is equipped with basketball, volleyball, and badminton courts and a huge field where you can play football, cricket, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are super cool and friendly. They are well qualified and know their area of expertise very well. Their style of teaching and communication skills are top-notch. The teaching curriculum is mid-level and is provided by the university. But you can be industry-ready if the teachers make you good enough for that. Semester exams are good, but I can't say they're easy. But you can get by with that. The pass percentage of the college may average 75%.
Other: I chose this course because I have a passion for technology. I wish the things in the course were more relevant to the current trend in technology. There is an annual teaching fest named Bodhi, an arts fest called Drishya, and a sports meet called Dhruva. This can be one of the best days in college; you can connect with a lot of friends, and the campus atmosphere is top-notch. The college provides a lot of scholarships for students.

Review of VJCET - Viswajyothi College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: It's is the top self-financing college in Kerala. VJCET trains its students for placements from their first year onwards. The top companies like TCS and Infosys come here to hire the students. The college is NBA accredited for all courses, and it is the only college in Kerala which is NBA accredited. The college is also NAAC accredited.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The classrooms are smart and have projectors and cameras. The library is huge and is of 2 floors. Separate books are available for all courses and can access through a web browser. There is also a research and development block for students to do research. The facilities are good. The hostel mess food is good. The placements in 2021 are good.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful. The college has good rules for students to make them good in every way and become good engineers.

The kind of blog you wish you read before college.
Placements: The placement cell in our college is not that strong, but it tries much to get every student placed who has no supply in previous exams. The number of students getting placed through campus placements is about 60%. The highest salary package is about 10 LPA, the lowest is 1.6 LPA and the average salary package is about 2–3 LPA. A few recruiters are TCS, Tech Bee, HDFC, SAFFRON, and so on. Students can do internships from the 3rd year and many students from my college get internships as part of it. The top roles offered in my course are software engineer, company executive, etc.
Infrastructure: The college building itself, at first glance, is captivating. Personally, I like how the college is and there are only stars around the building and no lifts. The washrooms are not up to the mark and could improve; there is a water cooler, which is not that good either. There is a college library, which itself is quite huge and you can get every study material you need. There are not many other books other than study books. There is also a college canteen and a few kiosks around the college that have some great foods. Wi-Fi is available around the campus and can be accessed freely. The classrooms are also quite spacious and nice; the college labs have only a few good facilities. The college hostels are also nice, as per what I heard. The food is only decent.
Faculty: The teaching faculty are also nice; some are quite experienced and some are learning there ways around. The qualifications are not up to par, but they do try their level best. The course I am studying is from the 2019 syllabus, which is too old and needs to be updated and KTU University is also bad. The college or this course does not make students job- or industry-ready as they do not teach hands-on training. The difficulty of the semester exams depends upon the university and a few times exams are hard and a few times they are easy; the pass rate is only about 70%.

Satisfactory report overall.
Placements: Nealy, 50% of my batchmates were placed through on-campus placements and the rest were lucky to get placed through off-campus placements. Among that, Infosys was the top recruiter this year and paid a package of nearly 3.5lac per annum. However, at the lower end, there were students who are working as trainees and are paid below 10k per month. There were no interns, however.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and libraries were up to the standard. To avail Wi-fi facility you have to get your laptop registered with the technical faculty. I was a day scholar but I have heard that many were not happy with the quality of food in the hostel but still, there are many rooms available outside the campus. There is a certified doctor for emergencies and there is a room for sick people. The canteen is good and is open almost whenever the college is working.
Faculty: Faculty in IT are well qualified and they help you to score marks in your finals. If the students are honest in their lab works, most of them are industry-ready and can expect to be placed in a not so bad company. The course curriculum is well updated and is in accordance with industry standards. Always remember it is up to you on how to use the facilities and only you are finally responsible for the final outcomes. VJCET comes under Kerala Technological University and has a well-structured syllabus even though, there are some issues with the way exams are conducted and the way how papers are corrected.
Other: IT department has national accreditation and is one of the top IT departments in the entire state. They give you seminars, workshops to be updated with the upcoming tech. Tech fest is, however, not up to the point compared to our competitors.

Review of Viswajyothi College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Placements in our college are very high. Around 402 students were placed in very good companies like Infosys, Tata, Wipro, IBS, Cognizant, Sutherland, etc. Our college placement cell is offering placement training to all the students from the first year, which is an additional benefit to our educational knowledge.
Infrastructure: Our college provides a digital library, separate labs for each branch, and a common computer centre which is accessible for every student. There are staff rooms, CATlab, and sports stadiums and courts that encourages students with sports skills. There are gym facilities for students. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. There are medical rooms with doctors assistance. Even counselling centre is provided for the students.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are well educated and graduated from the best colleges. Students can gain enough knowledge about all fields of engineering if they maintain very good relationships with teachers. Teachers use different teaching aids like PPTs, labs, models, etc., to provide us with effective education. They are punctual for classes and maintain proper discipline on the campus. They conduct many value-added programmes to provide each student with a fruitful future.
Other: The college organises many events like tech fest and arts fest. Various social groups conduct different value-added programmes which enhance their technical knowledge. IEDC club of our college conducts many classes for students to make them job providers than job seekers.
