Absolutely satisfied because of the good faculty members and campus.
Placements: I am a CS student, and it is the most demanded course in the current situation. The placements for the course come in a range of packages, with the highest package of nearly 17 LPA and the average package of 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies include TCS, Infosys, etc. Most of the students placed are involved in areas like software development, web development, etc.
Infrastructure: FISAT provides a great infrastructure for their students with a fully Wi-Fi-enabled campus and a calm environment. Also, the college has one of the best libraries in our state. Also, the hostels are perfect based on various factors like food, cleanliness, etc.
Faculty: The faculty members of FISAT are highly experienced and receptive so as to provide the best education and knowledge for the students. The curriculum is made in such a way that it enhances the student's ability to perform well in a professional and ethical way.
Other: Since B.Tech is one of the most prominent courses in the current situation, having a degree in it would be of great help.

Excellent placements for most students, helpful but strict teachers who focus more on studies.
Placements: About 40 percent of the placement have been completed for the passing out batch and about 80 percent of the students have been placed. The highest salary package was 12 lakhs per annum and the lowest salary package was 3.5 lakhs per annum.Top recruiting companies are TCS and infosys.20 percent of the students got internships with a payment of 30000 per month to complete 5 projects. Top roles offered are software developers
Infrastructure: The infrastructure provided in the college is top notch with labs with the latest equipment, high speed wifi, clean classrooms with lots of sunlight and ventilation and a library with plenty of books about all the topics required for study. The quality is the food in the hostel is a little poor but the canteen food is good. There is not a lot of sports facilities as there is only 1 basketball court and football ground. But sports activities are highly encouraged in the college
Faculty: The teachers are adequately qualified with qualifications from top colleges like iits. The teachers are always ready to help you and clear your doubts. The course is adequately relevant as it prepares the student in programming using java, data structures, c programming etc. The semester exams are not that difficult and can be easily cleared. The pass percentage is about 80 percent in my batch
Other: I chose computer science chose because of the rising software industry and the opportunities it puts forward. This available of multiple opportunities is the best thing about this course. I wish the course would concentrate more on topics like machine learning and AI

The college is a very good place to study and have fun at the same time.
Placements: In our college, almost 100% of students were placed. There were more than 400 offers. Everybody who studied came out with flying colors. The highest salary package offered was 13 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, UST, and others visited our campus. Almost 20% of students got internships at companies like Cognizant, People 10, and TCS.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available on and around the campus and hostel. Everyone had access to Wi-Fi. The library and labs were fully air-conditioned. Labs were quite large to accommodate more than four entire classes at the same time. The quality of the hostel was good. There were generators to make up for power cuts and wardens took care of students as if they were their children. The food served in the hostel was the best among any of the hostels in Kochi. We could suggest changes in hostel food every six months according to our tastes. There was an ambulance service to take action in serious situations. There was a huge cricket ground in which matches of the Kerala Cricket Association were being held. There was also basketball, volleyball, kabaddi, and football, and every sport had its college team. Every month, the college hosts intercollege matches and engages students.
Faculty: Our teachers take care of us like KG students. They wanted us to study and get good marks, and they did everything they could to make us understand a particular topic. Now that the college was NACC-accredited, knowledge-level questions were asked. They were all well-educated. The course curriculum had hands-on projects and mini projects so students are industry-ready. Semester exams were quite moderate. The pass percentage was around 80–85%.
Other: The college conducted a tech and arts festival called BHARATHAM for every college in Kerala, with good cash prices. Every department conducted its tech fest and small workshops. It was not only in studying the college focus that it tried to bring out the best of all students in extracurricular activities like dancing, singing, etc.

Our college is a concrete jungle, and the management is not good.
Placements: Almost 80% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 14 LPA by a reputed company. Big Binary, TCS, CTS, Commvault, Virtusa, Mitsogo, and Musigma are teh top recruiting companies that visit to hire students. Around 20% of students get offline internships, and almost 70% of students get online internships.
Infrastructure: There are 2 hostels, PG, and MH. Both have a decent infrastructure. The rooms are big enough for 3 students. Cleaning is done by the management every few weeks. The food is not great. Our college laboratory and the classrooms are good. There is Wi-Fi so students can play games during class.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is not relevant. It does not make students industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate. Students can pass even if they did not go to class for a whole semester. The exams are average.
Other: This college is like a concrete jungle.

Q:   Are admissions at Federal Institute of Science and Technology entrance-based or merit-based?

A:

Yes, entrance-based admissions are the main criteria for B.Tech programs, as passing JEE Main or comparable national/state exams is required. Merit and admissions chances are determined by rank on these tests.
Prior to being admitted, students must take and pass national engineering admission exams such as JEE Main. The institute determines the qualifying cut-off scores. Therefore, passing the eligibility test for admission is crucial.
After that, admissions are determined by the entrance exam results' All India ranking. Only the students' JEE Main merit rankings are used to fill seats.

In addition to admission ranking, the 12th standard percentage may also be taken into consideration for seats under reserved quota or at the institute level. However, the determining factor for the majority of seats is entrance exam merit.
