I suggest you not to take admission in VNIT.

Placements: Mass recruiting companies visit our college and hire students with an average salary package ranging from 3 LPA-4 LPA. The placement rate will be as low as 50%, while less than 30% of the students get summer placements. Good recruiters prefer to recruit only computer science branch students and sometimes electronic and telecommunication branch students. Other branches don't get good recruiters.

Dissatisfied with the college.

Placements: Placements are not that good. For students who don't have pointers above 7, it's difficult to get placed. Even the training and placement department is not so good towards the students. The highest salary offered is 26 Lacs per annum. The lowest is 3-4 Lacs per annum.

Please don't join this college and don't waste your valuable time and career.

Placements: The placements are not available and don't ask VNITians about the placements. All we get trading companies more and least core companies to the campus. TNP is awkward. The highest salary offered was around 12 lacs per annum and the lowest salary offered was around 3 lacs per annum. The average salary varies from 4-5 lacs per annum. Most of the student's plans for CAT, GRE, or GATE.
