Placements: About 64.56% students were placed in the year 2024. The highest package in the Civil department in the year 2024 was 18 LPA, the lowest was 6 LPA, and the average was 6.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies were L&T, Vedanta, Afcons, NMRC, Bajaj Steel, etc. Top roles were Junior Architect, Trainee Engineer, Procurement Executive, Trainee Faculty, GTE/PTE.
Placements: The placements are good in NIT Nagpur. There will be visiting companies for civil engineering like L&T, Tata Projects, and some public sector firms. The highest package is 34 Lacs per annum for civil engineering, and the average package is 8 Lacs per annum. The placement percentage is 85.
Placements: My batch is not passed out yet. Once it is done, I will update soon. But previous batch. Placement was not satisfactory. It's really hard to score an 8 CGPA. The highest package was around 27 Lacs, and the percentage of placed students is really very low. Thank you.
Placements: The campus placements are offered here, and the recruiters include PhonePe, Microsoft, Infosys, Oracle, Adani Groups, TCS, HCL, Lint, etc. The highest package here was 1.63 crores in FY 2022-23. The average package here is 11.5 Lacs per annum. Most of the recruiters give pre-placement offers exceeding 9 LPA.
Placements: As per my research, around 80 to 90 percent students get placed every year from our course. The highest package is around 64 Lacs per annum, the lowest is 8 Lacs per annum, and the average package is 13 Lacs per annum. Students start getting internships from early third year itself. Our college also runs an alumni association which makes placing students all over India.
Placements: From the past two to three years of recession, the placements everywhere decreased gradually but since this year, the placements at VNIT Nagpur College are slightly getting better and better as compared to past years. The placement percentage of students is, however, less but the average package is good.
Placements: In 2023-24, the placement rate at VNIT was 78 percent, with a median salary of 7.5 lakh and an average salary of 8.5 lakh. The highest salary offered was 31 lakh, while the lowest was 2.72 lakh. In 2022-23, the placement rate was 81.4 percent, with an average salary of 9.49 lakh and a median salary of 8 lakh. The highest salary offered was 31 lakh.
Placements: The placement rate of around 80% with various opportunities for students. The salary package ranges from a maximum of 10 LPA to 3 LPA, with an average of 6 LPA. Notable employers include Reliance Industries, Asian Paints, and pharmaceutical companies such as Cipla and Dr. Reddys. About 60% of students get internships in reputed companies like Hindustan Unilever, Bharat Petroleum, and research institutes. Suggested top roles include research associate and analytical chemist.
Placements: So, there are two types of placements. The first is the typical traditional way of getting placed through the college placement cell. In architecture at VNIT, 50 percent of students get placed for about 7 to 8 LPA in companies like L&T and other core sectors, and in the second type of placement, off-college placements, students got 10 to 12 LPA last year. Many students preferred higher education.
Placements: Students get placements in the 3rd year 5th semester and 6th semester. Placement sections will be held in the 5th and 6th semesters. Around 131 companies like Google, DE Shaw, Oracle, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, Citi India, Siemens, BNY Mellon, JP Morgan, etc., visit our college. Around 90% of CSE students and 86% of ECE students got placed in our college. You have to maintain around 7 - 7.5 CGPA to get internships. For some companies, it is around 8 - 8.5 LPA. There will be 3-4 rounds before g...
Placements: Placements are not really the attraction of this college, especially for the IT branches. Last year, the average placement packages for branches like CSE and ECE revolved around 14-15 LPA (which is much higher in the other tier-1 NITs). For core branches like chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, etc. the average is around 8-9 LPA. Placements percentage is 75-80%.
Placements: About 80% of students secure placements, with packages ranging from 5 to 15 LPA, averaging around 8 LPA. Top recruiters include Tata Consulting Engineers, AECOM, and IL&FS. Around 70% of students get internships, primarily with companies like JLL and Deloitte. Common roles include urban planner, project manager, and consultant.
Placements: 60% of students were placed, as 40% had backlogs or some didn't sit for placements. 19 lacs was the highest package, the lowest was 3 lacs, and the average was 8 lacs; the median was 9.75 lacs. BPCL Infosys, Wipro, ITC, Johnson, and more are the top recruiters. Many of them get internships at ITC, Johnson & Goldman Sachs at 50000 Rs. per month for summer interns in cash. I have no idea about the top roles.
Placements: VNIT has a 100% placement record, with an average package of 6 LPA and a maximum package of 10.5 LPA. If a student does not get placed through the college, many faculty members have links with different MNCs, and with the name of VNIT, anyone can easily be recruited.
Placements: The placements are decent; however, with the recent recession, it is harder to compare different universities. Students are still placed well with good packages, even if the rate is not as high as expected. Professors provide many research opportunities, and there is a strong alumni network. Fourth-year college students become eligible for placement. The highest package is usually 40 lakhs, and the average package is 10 lakhs. Approximately 90 percent of students get placed. I am considering hig...
Placements: Placement in VNIT is decent—not that great, but not that low either. Eligibility criteria vary from company to company; there are no fixed criteria. The highest package offered is 64 LPA in CSE, and the lowest is around 4 LPA. The average package is around 11-12 LPA. Placement percentages vary from department to department; for CSE, it's around 95+%, and the average placement percentage would be around 80%. I have not opted for any internships till now. Internship opportunities are mainly availa...
Placements: Placements in our college are pretty good, with around 70 to 80% of students from our branch, Chemical Engineering, getting placed every year. In the year 2023, due to the recession period, placements and internships were affected in our college. The highest package in 2023 was 34 LPA, while the lowest package was around 4 to 5 LPA, and the average package was 9 LPA. ITC hired around 5 to 6 students with a package of around 12 LPA. Other companies like HPCL, BPCL, ExxonMobil, Fractal Analytics, ...
Placements: College placements are good. Different departments have different placement statistics, like CSE, which has an average placement of around 15 lakh and above. The college provides placement in your 4th year of engineering. College average placement is about 7-8 lakhs. The highest package is 68 lpa of CSE/ECE. Placement % of top branches are almost 95% but for lower branches its like around 75–80%. I don't have exact information regarding the companies but I know companies like J.P. Morgan, De Sha...
Placements: In general, the placement percentage in our course is 90% and as we are hit the recession during our pass out batch, around 75% of the people got placed. The highest package offered was around 64 lacs, and average package was 11 lacs. The top recruiting companies are Citi bank, Texas instruments, Varroc technology, etc. Around 40% of our batch got internship opportunities. Top roles offered include software development engineer, data analyst, member of technical staff, etc.
Placements: After completing the first year, students are required to undertake a mandatory internship lasting between 6 and 8 weeks. This internship is an integral part of the curriculum. Students have the flexibility to pursue internships anywhere in India, but they are responsible for finding these opportunities independently. The availability of internships through the college is limited and based primarily on the students' CGPA. For those unable to secure an internship externally, the college does offe...
