Life at WCC was the best part of my life. Really good infrastructure, faculty and placements.
Placements: Life at WCC was the best anyone could expect at a college level and WCC is known for its dynamic quality of education. Getting an admission in WCC is quite a task especially at a UG level. But once you enter into this campus, a world of multiple dimensions opens up. I graduated this year i.e. 2016. We had almost all the top IT companies such as Wipro, TCS, CTS, RBS etc visiting our campus for recruitment. Most of the students got placed in my batch for the designation of Process Associate in ITs, software support etc. The average salary was starting from 15,000+, and I got placed in CTS with a good package, but unfortunately, I was not willing to for it as it was too far for me to travel.
Infrastructure: We had almost all the facilities that should be available for a UG level. The college chapel in the midst of our college is one of the beautiful gifts from an unknown American friend. The classrooms were well-maintained and we had free Wi-Fi setup, but unfortunately we were banned from using mobile phones on the campus. But this is useful for those who own a laptop for research works. We have the best canteen and kiosk inside our campus and we love being the whole time in the canteen. We have a bank inside our campus which was very useful to withdraw money and for fee payments. We also have a wide range of good books in our library which also consisted of a Faculty Internet Access Centre as well.
Faculty: We have two departments in our college, aided and self-financed. I belonged to the self-financed department. We had well-qualified and knowledgeable faculty members, and, they also were so kind and generous to us in terms of marks and examinations. The teaching methods used vary from one to another, and we had seminars and PowerPoint projections to make our classes useful and understandable. We were given a monthly course assessment test to prepare ourselves for the final examination. Since I belong to a computer background, we did not have an industrial visit. But I felt freedom all the 3 years here.
Other: One of the best parts at WCC is "The Festeve". This is the most awaited event in every WCCite's life. It is an inter-college cultural held on our campus, in which we have various events being organised for students from the other colleges. We have a huge number of celebrities coming in to host the shows, but now I miss those days.

It is the best college to study for women.
Placements: About 60% of the students from our course got placed in different places. Internships are provided for all students, and all 60 students get internships. Many well-known companies visit here for internships. In our course, the salary package offered is about 1 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of our college look really awesome. Wi-Fi facility is sufficient for every block. The quality of the facilities provided in the hostel of our college is very good. The food served here has good taste. Our college also has a sick room, and whenever students feel sick, they can take rest there. Our college also provides medicines.
Faculty: Teachers here are well educated and very passionate. They are very friendly to all the students, and their teaching is really perfect. There are many teachers in every department, and they all are very friendly and kind. Our course is in the 4th position in our college.
