Yes, the School of Science and Humanities SRM is considered as a good College. Here the the points that you can consider -
- Placements: The college has strong alumni connections and they are placed in good companies with higher salary packages. The lecturers suggested are certified courses which will help at the time of placement. Nearly 66 companies visited our college for placements this year.
- Infrastructure: The college has a peaceful environment and is equipped with all the necessary facilities. Students were asked to wear formal dresses with their convenience, but sometimes they have to wear uniforms and lab coats. Also, the institute supports various undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- Faculty: The teachers usually use blackboards rather than Digital boards. Also, they can draw all the diagrams when it is needed. The students are asked to join any one of the clubs based on our interests. All the teachers are highly experienced and most of them completed doctorate courses.

Admission to SRM School of Science and Humanities is subject to meeting certain eligibility requirements which are mentioned below-
- For Diploma courses- A pass in 10 + 2 (Higher Secondary) any group with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
- For UG degree courses- A pass in 10 + 2 (Higher Secondary) with a minimum aggregate of 50% with some mandatory subjects like Commerce , Account any, etc based on the degree chosed by the candidates.Students can choose to add a 4th year to their education to obtain a B.A (Honors.) / B.Sc (Honors.) / B.C.A (Honors.) / B.Com (Honors.) degree in accordance with NEP regulations.
- For PG degree courses- A pass in any UG degree with Commerce and Accountancy as major subjects.A minimum aggregate of 50% in UG.
Note: Kashmir migrants are eligible for relaxation in eligibility for admission subject to minimum eligibility requirements as per UGC.
Admission Process:-
- Step 1: Preliminary screening of online applications for proof of basic educational qualification

Candidate who have obtained more than 60% in Qualification exam could proceed directly for e-counselling. Those who have secure below 60% will have an Interview Selection process. Upon selection of programme, tuition fees and other applicable fees have to be paid at the time of counseling.
Provisional Allotment Letter (PAL) will be issued to confirm the candidate’s admission.
