Best college and infrastructure.
Placements: More than 50 percent of students were placed in our college. More than 15 companies such as Wipro, TCS, IBM etc. have visited. The highest package offered is 9.5 lakh per annum and the lowest package offered is 2.3 lakh per annum. The top roles offered are business management, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: They provide better infrastructure and facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, library, and classrooms available with separate departments. Hostel food quality is acceptable. The mess and canteen are very clean and hygienic. Medical facilities are available, and sports and games are conducted.
Faculty: Lectures are very kind and helpful. They are well-qualified and have good knowledge. The teaching quality is excellent, which helps students to get an idea. Our course is not curriculum relevant. Exams are a bit difficult, and we have to study. The passing percentage is 45 percent of the marks.

Good college and better infrastructure.
Placements: Approximately 85 percent of students were placed in our college, with the highest package being 14 lakhs per annum and the lowest salary package being 3 lakhs per annum. More than 20 companies visited different courses. About 3 percent of students got internships in other sectors.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are very good. They provide Wi-Fi, labs, a library, and food. In our college hostel, they also provide electricity, food, and medical facilities. Sports and games are conducted every semester, and cultural events are performed.
Faculty: The lecturers have good qualifications and knowledge, with many having higher degrees like Ph.D. Our course is curriculum-relevant, making us industry-ready. The exams are tough, and we have to work hard. Fifty percent of marks are required to pass the semester exams.

Women's Christian College is a very disciplined college.
Placements: The percentage of students in my course is a total of 70%. There are no top recruiting companies, and the college does not provide internships. You have to search for your internships. They give college-provided internships only to the students who scored well in their academics.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure seems extremely wonderful. The facilities provided are very good. They have well-developed labs and a library. The food provided in the hostel is very good, but the timings are too early. The classrooms have a maximum of space. Phones are allowed inside the campus. The campus is filled with greenery.
Faculty: Teachers are very well-qualified in their teaching. The semester exams give more pressure because you have to have an attendance percentage of 85, and no medical issues or certificates are valid. The pass percentage is 40 above; they divide that with your internals mark.
Other: They provide the college events in the month of September and February. Scholarships are provided, but only one person in the department is based on their academic performance.

A peaceful environment to excel in life.
Placements: In a batch of 45 students, final year students got campus placements in top IT companies like Intel, Infosys, World Bank, Amazon. We had interviews from top notch industries this time. Students did Internship at Floranix, National Institute of Ocean Technology and Anna University.
Infrastructure: Strong buildings; no damage happened during cyclone. We have gallery classrooms with laboratory of high facilities. The library is very big with innumerable books and AC facility. The food quality in mess is good; we have Apollo Shine care for medications. Only healthy food is provided, strictly. There are inter collegiate and intra departmental sports matches from time to time. Highly competitive environment for sports and games. The Sports day is the best event you have in the college.
Faculty: The teachers are Ph.D. scholars and provide comprehensive details for everything. The teaching quality is perfect. They ask for your feedback during end of every semester. The course curriculum is up to date with today's technology, and they also keep updating it every year. Semester exams are moderate. Scoring high is hard, but passing is really easy.
Other: I chose Physics out of my own interest. It's a department with a very intelligent faculty. They come up with many events and ideas. I think they can have more subjects and a better numericals solving approach. Every event of the college is fun, although I prefer being in the library. Scholarships are available in ample amount for students. So much greenery is there in the college and the chapel is a peaceful and most preferred area to meditate.

My college faculty is good and all facilities are available.
Placements: The Master of Science course provides specialization in Java, Python, C++, C, web design, data structures, microprocessors, and digital principles. Students with a score above 75% are catered to, and many software-related companies actively recruit from this program, making it highly effective in facilitating placements.
Infrastructure: Although the hostel facilities are average, the affordability and quality of food are commendable. Moreover, the availability of medical facilities surpasses expectations. While the Wi-Fi connectivity in classrooms may be average, the laboratory infrastructure is top-notch. Certain blocks have excellent classrooms. The college takes pride in itself.
Faculty: The extensive program prepares students with skills that are relevant across different industries, guaranteeing their readiness for placement opportunities. The faculty members at my college are not only incredibly supportive but also possess the essential expertise to provide guidance.
Other: My college scholarship is governed by government regulations.

Admission FAQs

Q:   Can I get B.Com at WCC with 450 marks in CUET?

A:

Candidates must take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA), in order to be admitted to WCC's B.Com program.
Drawing from past WCC and other college cut-offs for similar commerce programs, a score of 450 out of 800 on the CUET (or 56.25%) might be on the edge of or marginally below the anticipated cut-off for general category students.
The amount of applications, the number of seats available, the reservation policies, etc. will all influence the eventual cut-off. Obtaining more than 500 points (62.5%) would improve one's chances of being admitted.

During the admissions process, WCC may take into account, in addition to CUET scores, 12th board percentage, academic profile, and extracurricular activity performance.

Q:   Can I get admission in WCC for B.Com with 60% in Class 12th?

Answer is yes.Women's Christian College is renowned for its demanding admissions procedure and high academic standards.Based on past years' patterns, the general category students' cut-off 12th percentage for the B.Com. program at WCC was nearly 85% or higher. While a Class 12 score of 60% might satisfy the minimal eligibility requirement, the admissions process takes into account a number of other factors. These elements could include prerequisites for particular subjects, interviews, entrance exams, and extracurricular activities. To improve your chances of getting into WCC's B.Com program, my advice would be to aim for a high CUET score (700+ out of 800) and strive for a score above 80% on the 12th boards.
