The environment of the college is pleasant. It has a good infrastructure.
Placements: Top recruiting companies were Cognizant, Deloitte, Yes Bank and some other local companies. About 4 students from our class got placed. Top roles offered were assistant marketing manager, accountant, executive, etc. Most of our classmates opted for higher studies, so 40% of the students got placed.
Infrastructure: The food in our college is quite exquisite. The campus is filled with trees, and it looks like a garden sometimes. The food in the canteen is my favourite. I am not aware of the mess food, but I heard it is good. We have a sick room and nurses from Apollo Clinic.
Faculty: Teachers are brilliant, kind, helpful and friendly. Teachers provide theory and practical knowledge about the subjects using PPT, group discussions, performing skits. We learned many things. Exams are quite good, and the pass percentage is 75%.
Other: Our college is known for its reputation and its best excellence in academics. So, it was my dream to study in this college. I wish to improve the syllabus pattern of B.Com as it is quite complicated. Events, cultural fests, sports day, Christmas celebration and battle fest are the best days around the campus. Several scholarships are offered to all community members, and government scholarships and management scholarships are also offered here.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided for the courses were good and useful. Lab facilities was provided. Every classrooms has projector. Wi-Fi facility is also provided. The quality of the food available in the canteen is good. Separate clinic had been set up for medical issues.
Faculty: Yes the teachers were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Organisation actually hires only qualified persons. Teachers were approachable and friendly. The quality of teaching was perfect. Efforts taken by the teachers to make students to reach heights and to get placed in good companies was great.

Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure and facilities. There is no Wi-Fi connection, but the classrooms and library are very clean. Quality of food is good, and mainly sports activities are given much importance in our college. Many programmes are given much importance in our college.
Faculty: Teaching facilities are good. Teachers help all the time. The curriculum is highly relevant and makes students be industry-ready.

Q:   Which branch is best in B.Com at WCC?

A:

1) Stella (Girls Only), Cathedral Road is the best branch in BCom at WCC. Its got to be at top in anybody's list.

2) MOP Vaishanav (Girls only), Thousand lights/Uttam gandhi Salai - As good as Stella. Should be in top 5 of anybody's list.

3) Ethiraj (Girls Only), Egmore- Again in top 5 for girls only

4) WCC (Girls only), College Road- I would keep it on par with Stella and MOP. You see same level of competition for seats, yet it's everyone's second or third choice for some reason . Top 5 in anybody's list

4) DG Vaishnav college (Co-ed), Arumbakkam- Only reason I would rank this below all others is it's location and plenty of parents would prefer a girls only college over a co-ed.

5) Madras Christian College (MCC), Tambaram (Co-ed)- Probably has the best campus out of the lot . Why isn't in top 5 of my pick . same reason as DG vaishnav.

There are plenty of good colleges all cross the city . Above list are autonomous and self regulated, hence are preferred . Then there are alot of private colleges in far flung areas of city like SRM . I wouldn't recommend someone there.

The minimum eligibility criteria for WCC for B.Com (General) is 65% Marks in Core Papers in Higher Secondary or equivalent with Accountancy & Commerce. The cutoff of this college is goes too high and someone who score above 95% can think about the admission.
