The XIC Entrance Test (XET) Exam Pattern 2024 is prescribed by the XIC (Xavier Institute of Communications) every year. According to the XIC Entrance Test 2024 exam pattern the test is conducted in online, computer-based mode. There are two types of questions asked in the exam - Subjective and Objective. As mentioned in the exam pattern of XIC 2024, the time duration of the test will be 120 minutes and the language will be English only.
The objective types of questions in the XIC OET 2024 exam will be based on subjects such as Language Skills, General Knowledge and Knowledge of Media, and Logical and Analytical Skills. The second section, which will be subjective will carry 100 marks and last for 60 minutes. There will be four questions in this section which will be media-related in order to assess creativity, social values, writing skills, etc. Some questions will also be related to the course the candidate is applying for. The XIC OET test will conducted to shortlist candidates for admission into Post-graduate Diploma Courses being offered by the institute in the field of Mass Communication. In order to qualify in the exam, candidates will have to appear in the written exam and those qualifying it, will be shortlisted for personal interaction round. The candidate's performance in both the rounds will be evaluated before declaring the final merit list. For the upcoming session, XIC Entrance Test (XET) 2024 exam will be held on April 5,6 and 7. 2024.

There's no separate registration. However, aspirants have to register on the website of the institute BEFORE they can go on to fill the XIC OET application form. It is a short process which involves providing your name and contact details.
